Unbeknown to her, Mia was the object of their desire . . . an innocent woman they had pledged to protect and vowed never to touch.
Now they stood divided, and Mia becomes a bargaining chip between them.
Plucked off the street, Mia is whisked away to an ominous castle where she meets two men she has never seen in her life before. A suave billionaire -- and the man he has imprisoned in a cell in the darkness.

Neat and short read. CK's pen was rich and very atmospheric, and drove a surprising, believable rationale for the smut in the book 😁😉! There was also the fate element woven in. The smut was hot, even if it was pushed to the end of the novella. A little editing would have tightened the pace/plot better, but as it is, it was quite a well done book that honoured its genre!

I love how the author took us on an emotional roller coaster with this book. In just a few short pages she gave us danger, intrigue, and a potential betrayal with a hint of something to come. The way she slowly fed us more information really enhanced the intensity and drew me deeper into the story. I love that a breaking point occurred that forced their hand and brought these three amazing characters to their HEA.
The book is well written, grammar, editing, etc. But that's all the good I can say about it.
The characters are ridiculous, especially the FMC. The two male characters are rich, entitled, and think that because of that they are untouchable and can do what they want, and of course because they've been giving money to the FMC they now own her.
The FMC gets kidnapped by one of the men, and already she feels this attraction towards him. She is then given the choice to do what she's told and she can leave eventually. So she agrees. The first thing she has to do is strip naked in front of the second man, who is being help captive by the first guy. Then, she is tied up and sexually assaulted. After this, she isn't touched again until the end, she was there for a week, but she falls in love with both of these men. And when they profess their love and tell her they won't let her leave and she has to marry them, she agrees.
I can see if this book played out over a period of time and she ended up with a case of Stockholm syndrome, but this quickly just seemed unrealistic and ridiculous.
I'm giving 2 stars only because the author wrote the book well, even though the characters and plot were unbelievable.
For the past 7 years, Caden and Vincent have taken care of Mia from afar. She has no idea they exist, but they have controlled the world around her. Now she has been kidnapped off the street and taken to a castle in the middle of nowhere to save all three of them.
This isn't the usual bubbly book Chloe Kent writes. It is deliciously dark, and carries trigger warnings. Vincent and Caden are broken men, with Mia being their light. She is strong, a survivor, even when she thinks she may not come out of her imprisonment. This is a steamy, quick and easily recommended read. Part of a multi-author series, this may be read as a stand alone.
I received a free advance review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Soooo… one day you’re just minding your business trying to go to an event and you get kidnapped by some random hot guy and his chauffeur.
You learn that he won’t let you go until you interrogate the hot guy he’s holding hostage in a cell in the dungeon in his castle. Yes castle. Yes dungeon.
Oh and by the way this man who kidnapped you he and the guy in the basement have been watching you for the last several years of your life.
Not only are you feeling the emotions of Stockholm Sydrome you decided that you want to be DP’d.
Round of applause for pure SMUT in all its SMUTTY glory. Now, this story was absolutely absurd. But I couldn’t put it down. Mia, seriously WTF. Way to make a girl blush.
These two men were hot, sexy and intense! They new what they wanted and went after her, their little swan, they always protected from a far but it was time for her to meet them but Caden was torture seriously so he needed to healed or let go of the bad things that happen to him.So he was like Vincent 's prisoner till Caden could heal so Vincent kind kidnapped their little swan until he had to use her to reawake Caden's memory and when that happen they began one and found happiness! Good Book,Excellent!
This was dark and delicious all at the same time. It was depraved at how she falls so easily for these two brutish men, but when they show her nothing but tenderness and love, how can it be prevented. I loved that it wasn't until her scent filled Caden's senses that he remembers it all. That was such a touching moment that shows that scent can invoke powerful memories in us all.
so. this was really bad. i’m not sure what the other reviewers were on when they read this, but i can’t even begin to fathom how someone thought this was a good novel. from very weird insta-love vibes from two pedos to the author using the wrong name for one of her characters, this went all the way in the spectrum of confusing to dumpster on fire.
Mia was taken by Concentration camps, who she didn't know. Little did she know they knew of her for many years. Mia was needed to get through to Caden. He was brainwashed into thinking false things. How will it all turn out? Loved the ending.
