I’m one of those guys who is in my 40’s and still trying to figure out what to do with my life. Right out of college I had a short career in the finance world. I ended up pursuing work in the religious non-profit sector. That career ended up being some one of the most precious times of my life. Seventeen years later, I stepped out of a staff role and into the consultant role.
My bread and butter ended up being volunteer leadership. Not only did I equip hundreds of volunteers to be on mission, I equipped volunteers to be leaders of volunteers and the impact was exponential!
The volunteer teams I built ended up being the source of my best friends to this day. The teams went on to take the organization to places far beyond any place I had imagined.
My hope is you will find the same impact and significance I found as you develop and equip leaders who join you in the same missional pursuit.
People are any organizations most valuable assets. Invest in them as they invest in others.
