She was a modern-day gypsy, never staying too long in one place. She said it was a case of wanderlust, but perhaps it was also a case of running from the truth of who and what she was.
Now, she answers a call from her oldest friend, a call for help. Young women are being kidnapped from the reservation where Sadie grew up. Some are sold. Others are murdered. She can't turn her back on the call, she has to try and help, and fate will steer her to someone capable of providing the kind of help she needs.
But there's a price for everything, isn't there? Accepting this help means facing painful truths about her past, her life and who she really is.
Life is about to get very complicated. And dangerous.
Ciana Stone has been reading since the age of three, and wrote her first story at age five. Since then she enjoyed writing as a solitary form of entertainment, before coming out of the closet to share her stories with others. She holds several post graduate degrees and has often been referred to as a professional student. Her latest fields of interest are quantum mechanics and Taoism. When she is not writing (or studying) she enjoys painting (canvas, not walls), sculpting, running, hiking and yoga. She lives with her longtime lover in several locations in the United States.
"Never know where your path may lead or what you'll find along the way" Sadie
Oh my Heavens and Hell!!! Welcome back to the land of Ciana Stone where dreams, nightmares, light and dark are very real. This story evolved around a gifted writer named Sadie "Three" Rivers and her adult daughter Eliana "Eli". They've lived their lives like gypsies not staying in one place very long and are also Native American. One call from Sadie's best friend and sister of the heart, Chief Grace Whitebull and their lives are about to be turned upside down.
This story will open your eyes and minds to dreamwalkers, dark dreamers, fae, scythe huntyr's, shifters, makers, daemons and a whole other relm of beings. Some are good and of the light where others are monsters of the dark. Sadie along with some friends and others she just met have a short time to stop a monster from kidnapping, torturing and killing Indigenous women before he comes after Sadie herself. Sadie also has to accept some truths of who and what she is before she can stop the madness around her before it's too late. Confronting her past will help her but it may also destroy her.
If you follow Ciana Stone you'll be pleased to reconnect with previous characters and meet some new ones. This story will take you on a roller coaster of emotions while turning the pages with baited breaths. Kudos Ciana on this riveting story, so happy to have you back!!! To say it's a MUST READ is positively true. His/her POV, no cheating, no cliffhanger and a few HEA' that are out of this world. Definitely added to my favorites collection.
“Some knew what they were, and others did not. Those who didn’t were on their own search. A search for awakening, for belonging.”
“Dreamwalker - The Awakening” is a thrilling fantasy mystery that will keep readers on the edge of their seats. The story focuses mainly on Eli and Sadie, both were my favorite characters in this story full of many secrets and how they can end up endangering their lives.
One of the strengths of this book is its world-building, there’s so many interesting things, like fae, demons, wizards, the creator, the hidden, and more. The author does an excellent job of crafting a vivid and immersive world that is full of lush descriptions and intricate details. The way that she weaves the paranormal elements into the story is seamless and adds an extra layer of intrigue to the plot. The tension builds steadily throughout the book, leading to a satisfying conclusion.
The characters like Grace, Clay, Alex and the rest of the cast are also incredibly well-drawn and engaging, with complex backstories, motivations, and relationships that add depth and richness to the story.
I really recommend this book. It’s an excellent fantasy murder mystery that is sure to please fans of the genre. It's a well-written and engaging novel that is filled with memorable characters and will keep readers engaged from beginning to end.
“Dreamwalker” was a fantastic read, one that I am going to keep thinking about for the next few months!
The word-building skills of this author are amazing! I loved the way she talked about these different worlds, allowing us to follow all these amazing characters and immerse ourselves completely in the story.
Sadie and Eli, who were the main characters, are definitely my favorites. As an author myself, Sadie’s talent blew my mind and I loved reading about her creating her stories. The fantasy elements were absolutely mindblowing. I am not much of a fantasy reader, but I loved every page of this book.
I generally don’t like books with a ton of characters, but Ciana makes it easy to keep up with everyone and fall in love with each of them. The ending of this book left me feeling emotional, yet satisfied and speechless. Overall, it was a story that kept me engaged, and one I will continue to remember for a long time.
If you are a crime, thriller, and fantasy lover, you are going to enjoy this book, I promise! I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys fantasy and loves a story that makes you speechless.
Sadie is a gypsy as was her mother only difference is she took her child Eliana with her as they traveled the world as she wrote her books mostly books that make you think past what you see to what might be there right under your nose. She d0esn't believe herself to be a dreamwalker but she can't see her true self yet but she can see into others dreams. Sadie and her daughter are Indigenous people and Sadie makes sure her people have what they need that she can provide to help improve their lives. She and Eliana are about to go on an adventure that will bring danger, violence, love, reconnecting old friends, and enemies, as well as some wonderful new friends for them both. But it seems a monster who will kill, steal, and destroy without a conscious wants the maker and is willing to do what he must to get what his master wants. Some big surprises for them all. Mother and daughter find a love for the ages along the way. A very interesting story line and the characters are very entertaining. I read a purchased copy without obligation. I volunteered an honest review.
DREAMWALKER draws characters from two other Stone books, “The Other Side of Fear” and “Behind the Rocking Horse,” but it stands up extremely well on its own and powerfully so. This is a very tantalizing read full of emotions and many surprises. There are elements of danger and fear that blend well with the more fantastical and romantic aspects of this tale. As I began to really get into the story, I was a bit trepidatious about where it was headed, so many intriguing possibilities, some I feared may not be where I wanted to go but I hoped it would take me where I wanted to be. And that it most certainly did, often in ways I could not have predicted! It’s got some very unexpected twists and turns and may leave you with a few questions about characters that I hope we will be seeing more of, but it is definitely a trip that is sure to entertain and fascinate, often keeping you so enthralled you may not be able to put it down even after you reach the end.
This was a truly fabulous book, and it begs the question, how well do we really know another person?! So many twists and turns within the storyline that I never expected, and the villain reveal came out of nowhere, but once revealed, the pieces were all there, and it all fit together! Sadie was such a strong, yet vulnerable woman, and I admired her so much. The metaphysical aspect was woven into the story so fluidly that everything just flowed together quite believably! The only thing that I didn't like is that I have to wait while Ciana Stone writes the next book to find out what happens next in this awesome world that she has created for us!
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book.
Another fantastic story by Ciana that delves into reality with a side of paranormal❣️Sadie is a bestselling author and mother to an adult daughter, Eliana. When a spat of native women go missing from the reservation, they decide to ask for assistance from a well-known company to help determine where these women are taken, to find out if they are alive and bring the perpetrator to justice.
Unfortunately, their world is about to be turned upside down and what you think you knew was reality, is not quite what it is😳 I really enjoyed all the characters in this story as well as visiting a few older know characters and an HEA for most involved☺️ I received an advanced copy and willingly leave my honest review❤️
This novel moved at dark speed from everyday life to the other realm populated by fae , dreamwalkers and dark fae. To those who believe it is an easy book to read but to those yet to be convinced not so much. Enjoy
Ciana Stone continues to deliver great stories. I believe I have read them all through this particular portal and love each every one of them. Not only are they romantic but they are suspenseful and captivating.
