If Only You Knew-The five-year-old little girl in this story just makes the whole book. She is a blast and keeps the grown-ups on their toes. She and her mom live in her mom's hometown and one day her mom's ex-boyfriend's brother arrives to be the new principal. All of their lives will never be the same whether that is good or bad you will have to find out by reading the book.

Pretend to be Yours-This book was a fun read about a single father and his friend who babysits for him. The book opens with Faith babysitting Shane's boys while he is out playing poker with the guys and her mom calls her informing Faith that they are in town a week early. Faith invites her parents over to where she is babysitting and gets a rude surprise when they show up with a strange man in tow. A man that her mother thinks will be perfect for Faith and can be Faith's plus one at her cousin's wedding. Talk about awkward especially when they will all be staying with Faith at her house. Faith has to decide on a quick course of action, so she claims that she and Shane are dating and hopes that Shane will play along when he arrives home to find a house full.
Shane doesn't mind helping Faith as he has had feelings for her for a long time, he has just never felt worthy enough to act on them. He would also love it if their fake relationship could become a real one, however his oldest son does not feel the same way. Things also not helped by the sudden reappearance of Shane's ex-wife and between her shenanigans and those of Shane's kids life gets very interesting. Plus, perhaps all the attraction that Shane feels isn't just his. I know that you will love this story and the way that it ends.

Begin Again with You-This book was very emotional. It is about shame, forgiveness, betrayal, guilt, holding grudges, and love. In high school, she stomped all over his ego and turned him into even more of an introvert. Then she got with the wrong man and turned her entire hometown against her. Now she has had to move back and hope that someone besides her sister will give her a chance. Of course, she would run into him and when she realizes who he is the guilt comes especially when his boss is the only one willing to hire her. The more time the two former school mates spend together the more he realizes that things just aren't adding up where she is concerned, and he decides to learn more. Their road to being together is full of pitfalls including The Love List, the Bridge Club, his brother and her ex-husband. Will she ever be able to call Haven Bay home again? What will it take for her to finally get the happiness that she has been searching for? I hope that you will enjoy reading this story and finding out the answers.

1. If Only You Knew
Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars

“Younger brother is in love with older brother’s girl, but they break up and she turns out to be pregnant” trope

The story isn’t hard to get into. I love Bex’s character. She’s such a strong independent, single mom. And the way that she is juggling so many things like 3 different jobs yet still doing a great job raising her kid, Isobel. (Yes, I said “her” kid, because Izzy is not in any way Wes’ kid)

While the story was good, I think the characters of Wesley and Michael were difficult to like. I know Michael was supposed to be Wesley’s opposite, the guy that kids automatically like, lives in a small town, buys purple tutus for little girls, but even though he has his moments, I did not find myself rooting for him. It was harder to like his character than Wesley, because off the bat Wesley was already a disliked character.

For child custody stories like these, I always believe that the mother or whoever raised the child gets all the say. Whoever didn’t want anything to do with the kid, doesn’t deserve any say, even if they are blood related. For me, they revoked any rights to be part of the kid’s life. So, it was specifically difficult for me to read that Michael is continued to be paired with Bex.

Aside from the story concept, I only liked Bex and Izzy’s mother-daughter relationship.

2. Pretend to be Yours
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

After just finishing reading Haven Bay Book #4, If Only You Knew, I struggled wanting to keep reading more about the characters from the series. It took quite some time before I was really gripped with the love story of Faith and Shane, but I am so relieved that Pretend to be Yours is way better than the previous one.

Featuring one of my favorite tropes, fake dating, when her parents bring a guy to be her blind date out of the blue and an ex-boyfriend looking to gain a second chance, Faith is forced to ask Shane, the single dad she babysits for, to be her pretend boyfriend.

Pretend to be Yours gives us all our favorite tropes rolled into a fun and sweet read. Fake dating, a hot single dad, a sweet foodie fmc, and a whole lot of drama. You won’t regret picking this up.

3. Begin Again with You
Rating: 3 out of 5 stars

First of all, I just want to say that I love the St. John sisters. They make really interesting characters. I was really intrigued about Chastity's story from all her mentions in Pretend to be Yours so I am glad that hers was the next book of the series.
Readers of the series would love how this book all features all the beloved characters of Haven Bay and how the story just ties together.

Amazing three-book set from a favorite author...

If Only You Knew - Bex comes back to her hometown to raise her daughter alone. When Michael moves to Haven Bay, it doesn't take long for him to figure out Bex's secret. And when he inadvertently discloses the information to his brother... I absolutely loved this book in the Haven Bay series. Bex doesn't have it easy - cobbling together several very different jobs to support her little family, but she never complains about hard work. Michael makes mistakes - hey, he's a man! - but there's no intent to hurt Bex, and he has other redeeming qualities. Wesley still sees her as a conquest, although he does the right thing in the end. Her family and friends in Haven Bay are protective and supportive, and I suspect that the Bridge Club would take care of anyone who tried to mistreat Bex. Izzy is just adorable, and steals the show every time she appears. The author has a real hit with this book, showcasing why she's a must-read for me.

Pretend to Be Yours - Faith needs a fake boyfriend - quick! - and blurts out the first name that comes to mind. Shane. When his ex-wife shows up nearly four years after ghosting the family, he needs a fake girlfriend - quick! Fortunately, they've already got the fake thing down pat. This is the latest book in the Haven Bay series, and it is terrific! Faith and Shane go from friends to the "fakey thing" to a real relationship, and it wasn't always a pretty trip. The ex and her threats, Faith's parents and their matchmaking idea, Shane's son's issues with Faith... Everything seems so much more important than how Shane and Faith feel about each other. I loved this book, reading about the new romance while catching up with old friends in Haven Bay.

Begin Again with You - With no other options, Charity returns to Haven Bay divorced, broke and homeless. She wasn't always nice when she was younger, and not everyone is welcoming, blaming her for the actions of her ex-husband. Now she's working for Kyle, and feeling guilty for the way she treated him when they were in high school. She doesn't tick off anything on his girlfriend wish list, but he feels a huge zing when he's around her. I love how easily he forgives her for her past treatment, preferring to see only the best in her. This is the first time in the series that I didn't like the Bridge Club, finding them to be closed-minded and judgmental. It was great to be reading in Haven Bay again; I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Charity and Kyle.

I received a copy of the boxset from the author, and this is my honest review.

Having previously read books five and six, I was excited to finally read book four and ending up reading five and six again remembered how much I love everyone in Haven Bay! :D

If Only You Knew
The anxiety I felt for Bex when her ex's brother comes to town and how it could change everything for her and Izzy, then finding out how Michael feels about her and the history of it gives you warm fuzzies. I loved seeing them grow close and Bex letting her walls comes down to let Michael into her and Izzy's lives, but you know it is going too well. Haven Bay wraps you in a warm blanket, is where people care and look out for one another and also make you welcome so it's the best place for new beginnings and making peace with the past.

Pretend to Be Yours
I so looked forward to Faith's story as I just loved her personality and especially the way she made sure she would remember people names who came to her store. Thank gawd her parents came to town early with a surprise for her or who knows how long or if ever she and Shane would have ever acted on how they feel for each other. While I loved Faith and Shane along with his sons Hunter and Dylan, I loathed Shane's ex and the boys mother Diana, I totally agreed with Shane's sisters assessment of Diana. The fact both Faith and Shane have confidence issues was sweet and refreshing while what they have both been through by people who they were meant to be able to trust. You get great characters, plenty of laughs, see familiar faces as well as heart ache, betrayal and romance that makes you happy.

Begin Again With You
Oh how I loved being back in Haven Bay where the townsfolk have your back and romance will find you whether you like the person or not which happens to be Kyles case. The way Charity use to act to how she is now is quiet different and I get her putting up a false wall of how she acts, but you can't lie to yourself nor others of how you really feel for long so seeing her and Kyle being forced together in a way enabled them to both see who they are now which leads to some laughs, a few tears, frustrations and a HEA that is well deserved.

This was an amazing box set! I fell in love with the characters and the town of Haven Bay!

If Only You Knew
I absolutely loved this story! Michael and Bex’s story had me hooked from the beginning. It was emotional and heartfelt. I loved Michael, Bex, and Izzy! They definitely had a lot to work through and plenty of challenges, but their love was worth it! I wasn’t a fan of Wesley, but I have to admit that he earned a bit of respect by the end of this story.

Pretend to Be Yours
Wow! I’m a sucker for a character that doesn’t know their worth, and this amazing book had two!
Faith went through something awful, but she’s back to being confident in her skin! I loved that she made no apologies for the choices she’s made in her personal life! My heart did break for her a few times, though, when a particular incident was brought back up.
I loved Shane! He not only kept himself together, but he raised two young boys on his own. He had moments of awkwardness that I found completely endearing. I loved how he saw and treated Faith.
Diana is one of those characters that’s impossible to like. There’s not one redeeming quality in her.
Hunter and Dylan slayed me! Hunter was just such a shy, sweet boy. And Dylan had moments that made me cringe, even though I could understand what he was thinking. But it was near the end when he was so obviously upset by what had happened with Diana that broke my heart.

Begin Again With You
This was one of those stories that hit me straight in the heart at the most unexpected time! The particular scene that did that to me was when Bex chatted with Charity at cupcakes and cocktails night. It was a short but extremely poignant moment, and it definitely made me teary eyed!
Charity was the perfect example of how sometimes the weight of the guilt one puts on themselves can be worse than what other throw at you. To me, Charity was a class act on how she handled herself after he whole ordeal, especially with the locals of Haven Bay!
I really liked Kyle. My heart ached for the teenager that had his heart pummeled in such a public fashion. I loved that he was such a good person, and willing and able to forgive.

I totally enjoyed Haven Bay Series Books 4-5, Box Set 2 by Alexa River. Sparks fly when hot, intelligent men fall for strong and passionate women in this emotional, small town romance series.

If Only You Knew (secret baby, ex's brother, boss): Five years ago, artist and teacher Bex Cane, left her ex and gave birth in secret. She is blindsided when she learns that her ex’s gorgeous brother, Michael, has moved to town and is her new boss. She knows it will only be a matter of time before he learns that she has a daughter, his niece, and will want answers. Only he might just steal her heart, too.

Pretend To Be Yours (fake dating, single dad, friends to lovers): Faith needs a fake boyfriend to desperately keep her matchmaking mother off her back. Sexy single dad Shane fits the bill. Now he just needs to persuade her to give him a chance at something real.

Begin Again With You (hate to love, second chance, boss/assistant, hunky librarian hero): Charity has, reluctantly, returned to the Bay. An outcast because of the actions of her ex husband, no one is willing to give her a job, no one except an out of town library manager. Now she is the assistant to the very hot librarian she publicly rejected in high school. Sparks fly between these two, but they will need to put the past behind to make this work.

Ms. River wrote wonderful and enjoyable stories that pulled the reader in, with a desire to visit Haven Bay; if not live there. Each of these stories gave off small town vibes while offering depth and growth of the characters. Each novel follows a different couple but that they entwine and connect to illustrate the bigger picture. Bex and Michael, Shane and Faith, and Kyle and Charity are all engaging characters with baggage, hurt, and a bit of growing to do. You can’t help but cheer for them as you can sense their love and desire to have their HEA. I highly recommend Haven Bay Series Books 4-5, Box Set 2; as well as the entire series

If Only You Knew.
Michael fell in love with Rebecca before she became his brother's girlfriend. He goes to see her to tell her, but she surprises him with the news she's pregnant, of course he doesn't tell her his feelings. Then she disappears. Six years later Michael becomes the head at the school where Bex is a part time teacher. He sees her and her daughter and puts two and two together, Izzy has the look of his family. He's found out Bex's secret. Will he keep it? Or must he tell his brother, now a candidate for prime minister? How is Bex going to cope? She can't run, she has three jobs and Izzy.

Pretend to Be Yours
Faith has been boysitting for Dylan, eleven and Hunter, four, for Shane for several years, she's been hiding her attraction to him ever since she met him. Her parents have arrived early for her cousin's wedding, bringing a blind date with them!
When Shane gets back she rushes to him and pretends that he's her boyfriend, asking him to help her out. He does, because he's been attracted to her too.
Shane's ex left with no word, she's an actress and left New Zealand for the States. She returns and things become very complicated.

Begin Again With You.
Charity has come home to Haven Bay after her life implodes. She's divorced her conman husband, lost her job and her accommodation. She knows things will be tough but she can stay with her sister, Fiona, until she gets back on her feet.
Now she needs a job. She tries everywhere, there's an assistant librarian job, no experience necessary. She goes to apply and bumps into Kyle, except he's changed from the geeky nerd she was so horrible to at school. A fact she's really ashamed of, she wasn't a nice person then.

If Only You New (Book 4) , 4/5 stars
Bex is a single mom hiding from her past, so when her ex's brother shows up as her new boss she is beyond surprised. Michael has always been in love with Bex, but will the misunderstandings of the past jeopardize their future?

Alexa River's writing places you in some of the scenes - I could see some of them play out vividly in my mind while reading. Bex's daughter, Izzy, and the relationship she builds with Michael is heartwarming. As always, the Bridge Club is bustling about (I would have loved to see a little bit more of them actually). Another solid installment in the Haven Bay series.

Pretend To Be Yours (Book 5) , 5/5 stars
When Faith's parents show up a week early for her cousin's wedding... and with a blind date in tow, well, desperate times call for desperate measures. Without thinking, she invents a fake boyfriend, and since she's babysitting that "fake boyfriend" also happens to walk in at the right moment. Shane is a single dad with a famous ex. Juggling a full time job and the activities of his two sons doesn't leave him much time for a personal life.

Pretend to Be Yours is a fake relationship, friends to lovers story with a lot of heart and emotion. Possibly my favorite in the series so far <3

Begin Again With You (Book 6) , 5/5 stars
Charity has, reluctantly, returned to the Bay. An outcast because of the actions of her ex husband, no one is willing to give her a job... no one except an out of town library manager. Now she is the assistant to the (very hot) librarian she publicly rejected in high school.

A second chance, boss/assistant small town romance that will warm your heart.

I had the chance to read the ARC for the Alexa Rivers box set for Haven Bay 4-6.

This set includes:
If Only You Knew (secret baby, ex's brother, boss)
Five years ago, she left her ex and gave birth in secret. Now her ex's sexy brother has moved to town, and he wants answers. But he might just steal her heart, too.

Pretend To Be Yours (fake dating, single dad, friends to lovers)
Faith needs a fake boyfriend to ward off her matchmaking mother. Sexy single dad Shane fits the bill. Now he just needs to persuade her to give him a chance at something real.

Begin Again With You (hate to love, boss, hunky librarian hero)
She’s a trophy-wife turned outcast. He’s the hunky librarian she once rejected. Sparks fly when he becomes her boss, but can they put the past behind them to try again?

I absolutely loved the small town vibes all three of these stories had to offer. I also love that each book follows a different couple but that they intertwine so you are still getting the bigger picture. I have come to LOVE series like this.

Each of these books offers you great depth and growth. Bex & Michael, Shane & Faith, and Kyle & Charity are all relatable and great characters with baggage, hurt, and lots of work to do. I was rooting for them right away because you can sense their love and desire to have their HEA.

I love Alexa's writing style. Definitely easy to follow and pulls you in. I would love to meet all of them and visit Haven Bay!

I highly recommend this entire series!

Haven Bay #4-6 . . .

Small-town romances to get your heart beating faster can be found in this collection of love stories just for you. Below is a review of one of the stories to give you an idea of what you can find here. Enjoy!

Titles in this collection are:

❤ If Only You Knew (Haven Bay, #4)
❤ Pretend to Be Yours (Haven Bay, #5)
❤ Begin Again With You (Haven Bay, #6)

*** Reviewing “PRETEND TO BE YOURS (#5)” ***
Faith and Shane's Story . . .

This is a wonderful story line with lots of obstacles to be overcome. It makes for an intriguing read since the reader doesn’t know what to expect next.

When Faith’s parents show up and bring along a blind date for her, she is ready to put up some resistance. Then her ex comes along and wants a second chance! Before things get even worse, she realizes she needs a fake boyfriend to keep everyone at arm’s length for now! And she has an idea!

Faith has been babysitting Shane Walker’s sons. He would be the perfect fake boyfriend. She doesn’t realize that he has been crushing on her but never felt she would be interested so he didn’t say anything. Now that he’s her fake boyfriend, those “fake” kisses have obviously become more intense and he wants more from their relationship. He wants it to be real. Is he willing to risk his heart and tell her how he feels? Is she ready to have a true relationship with Shane? And are they willing to deal with the annoying interferences that keep trying to push them apart?

Kind of like a second chance

This is a collection of three books from the Haven Bay Collection: If Only You Knew, Pretend To Be Yours, and Begin Again With You. My favourite book was If Only You Knew, which was about Bex and Michael. It's a complicated relationship that started years ago, where she was involved with his brother, but he was already in love with her - she just didn't know it. So when she announced her surprise pregnancy, he decided not to tell how he felt about her, but his brother's and her relationship broke up anyway.

Six years later, they see each again for the first time since, and they happen to be working at the same school! And Bex has a secret she's been keeping - one she's hesitant to tell him so that the rest of his family doesn't find out. As they reconnect as friends, there's undeniable attraction and chemistry there. When Izzy bonds with him, decisions are made a little easier.

It was a great story with mixed emotions, secrets, difficult decisions, sweet moments, laughter, uncertainty, great friends, love and passion. The characters were very likeable, and the community of Haven Bay felt so warm and welcoming. I just wanted more from them, and felt their story wasn't over yet. I wasn't real happy the story ended when it did (sad face). I give this book four and a quarter stars, and the entire collection four stars.

This boxset is provides you with three small town romance, where everyone knows everyone else.
IF ONLY YOU KNEW
Tells the story of Bex Cane and Michael Briggston. Bex is a struggling, single mom that five years ago split from the father of her child. A child she kept to herself.
Whom she never expected was the return of her the brother of her ex. What neither expected was the attraction. But what happens when the truth comes out? If only he knew?
PRETEND TO BE YOURS
This one belongs to Faith St John and single dad, Shane Walker.
Faith is done with relationships, and certainly doesn’t want to get back with her ex. Especially with her parents encouraging it.
Her solution, kissing Shane, the father of the kids she babysits. But what happens when pretend could lead to more?
BEGIN AGAIN WITH YOU
Charity St John and Kyle Pride met in HS . He had a crush on her, and was devastated when she broke his heart. Charity is back in town. Once a beauty queen living a glam life, she has returned without a job or a home.
What happens when she’s hired to work for Kyle? Will they learn to forgive and forget and get a chance at love, or will it be too late?

All in all, stories with engaging plots and a glimpse at HEA. I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I’ve read other books by Alexa Rivers but this was my first journey to Haven Bay. I officially want to live there. I once had thoughts of being a writer but thought nobody would be interested in books set in New Zealand. Well Alexa has proven me wrong. Not only are her stories so well written, she makes me fall in love with every couple and their location. Her stories have the perfect recipe for me. Small town romances with a hint of angst. I need to feel the couple in pain because it makes the HEA that much sweeter.

Book 4 If only you knew
Bex and Michael

Ex’s brother, single mum, he’s her boss,

Book 5. Pretend to be yours
Faith and Shane

Mutual pining, friends to lovers, single dad,
fake dating, surly teen

Book 6. Begin again with you
Charity and Kyle

She crushed his spirit, he’s now her boss,
misunderstood fmc,

I honestly couldn’t set these apart ratings wise. They all left me feeling satisfied and my heart all warm and fuzzy. So 5 shiny 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is your chance to grab three books in this fantastic series.

If Only you Knew:
This book has a slight twist to the typical second chance romance novel. Two brothers always in competition and finally getting it right. This is an enjoyable read set in the beautiful small town of Haven Bay. It’s a quick read and definitely worth the time it takes to hook you into this complicated story.

Pretend To Be Yours:
What another great Haven Bay love story. It wasn’t hard for either Shane or Faith to pretend to be together. They just never let the other one know how they felt. Amidst all the drama, these two managed to forge their way through it. My favorite book in this series so far!

Begin Again With You:
I loved this book. It was a second chance romance that had so much drama entwined with the element of forgiveness. Both Kyle and Charity have changed tremendously since high school. What happened back then couldn’t be forgotten, but plenty of good comes from forgiveness and the ability to grow from it. These Haven Bay books just keep getting better and better.

Three great romances to read and enjoy, set in Haven Bay (of course). I loved reading these 3 romances, the first one "If only you knew" is Bex and Michael's story - where Michael has always had feeling for Bex, but previously she was his brother's girlfriend. Can he get his second chance, and win her when he meets her again in Haven Bay?
Next story is "Pretend to be yours" which is Faith and Shane's story - where Faith needs a fake boyfriend to help keep her matchmaking mother and her blind dates away. Shane is a single father who secretly has wanted Faith, will he win her jaded heart?
The last story is "Begin Again with You" (Charity and Kyle's story) - where Charity a former beauty queen broke Kyle's heart back in high school, and now she is back in Haven Bay. Will things have changed? Or is Charity still the same?

Books four to six in the Haven Bay Series are heartfelt and kept me glued to the pages. Each story is well written and touches you drawing you in to the characters and have you cheering them on. I enjoyed all three stories but "Pretend to Be Yours" stood out for me. In this story Faith and Shane's relationship may have started out as fake but what they feel for each other is anything but that. When Faith's parents surprise her with an early visit with a man to boot, she comes up with the first thing possible, she and Shane are dating and are in a relationship. Their deception will set off a series of incidents that will have them coming to terms with their feels which is good until his ex comes back into the picture. Will he and Faith get their chance for a happily ever after.

Another edition of 3 individual romances between the men and women of Haen Bay. A great collection ..having read the previous box set, the characters re- emerge in this second collection on the sidelines. I enjoyed the first set, but felt this collection was even better. Haven Bay doesn't change; they are an eclectic bunch. The nosy, the busybodies, the kind, the mean, the shy and the brash all combine to interact and interfere, with everyone having an opinion on everything.
Love the stories, well written and defined..romance, humour, despair, success, failure, , sweet, saccharine, harsh, hurt all combined to present entertaining reading.
Looking for to reading about the remaining elegable males..6 down and a few more still around waiting to find love.

Three terrific stories of small town romances. Michael and Bex reconnect a few years after she and his brother split apart, but now there is time for past desire to be known. Shane and Faith use the fake boyfriend to get past a matchmaker and find it is real. Charity and Kyle reconnect after she returns to town to start over from a bad relationship. Terrific characters, good storylines, a few roadblocks to overcome and great endings will make your day. Binge worthy trio is hard to put down. Loved the chemistry that comes from different angles, great personalities, forgiveness, secrets and revelations, and fun banter that puts a smile on your face. Well done.

Three terrific stories of small town romances. Michael and Bex reconnect a few years after she and his brother split but she’s not alone, will Michael get the woman he’s always loved? Shane and Faith use the fake boyfriend routine so each can get out of situations only to find fake love becomes real love . Charity and Kyle reconnect after she returns to town to start over from a bad relationship. Terrific characters, good storylines, a few tribulations, some secrets, some laughs but overall great endings that will make your day that bit brighter. Once I started I knew I couldn’t put down till the end. So book yourself some me time and binge this series. I received this arc from the author. Enjoyed.

This Haven Bay box set is an awesome romance! I love when an author can take me through all the feels and make me want more. She crafted beautiful characters and tackled one heart wrenching dilemma in each book. I enjoyed the instant connection, the overflowing romance and physical connection between the characters, and the air of angst and anticipation that brought depth to the stories. You will love how they meet and fall in love. How their lives came through so much heartache and then finding an everlasting love. A great collection.

Loved being able to read these 3 books in a row, great series. If you like steam small town romances, then this series is for you. You have a second chance at forbidden love when Bex and Michael come face to face again. Then you have a always enjoyable fake romance, that somehow stops being fake with Shane and Faith. Lastly in this group is the story of Charity and Kyle, she broke his heart back in high school now she is back in town trying to recover her life from the dumpster. Can she prove that she is not the same person as before?.

-If Only You Knew
This is single mom Bex and Michaels story. It's well written and a total must read, emotional and heartfelt in a way that portrays how well Rivers writing is.

-Pretend to Be Yours
Faith St John and single dad, Shane Walker. When these two friends need a fake relationship to keep people at bay they never thought that feeling would surface.

-Begin Again With You
Charity St John and Kyle Pride. A second chance romance that goes straight to the feels and keeps you hooked until the end.

This contains three romances taking place in small town Haven Bay. The author brings strong characters and weaves heartwarming stories, continuing the Haven Bay series. Each book has it's own unique storyline with the characters intertwining. It's best to read them in order although each is a standalone. They are well written with perfectly painted scenes, move fluidly and are entertaining reads.

This was a wonderful box set with varying characters, different tropes, all sorts of angst and tension between the characters. My favourite has to be Bex and Michael's story in If Only You Knew, but the St John sisters had great stories too. Charity's was the least remarkable in my opinion, but I did love the great descriptions and chemistry she had with Kyle. I'm looking forward to reading the other books in this series too.

I’m a very picky reader. I usually read a book once and I’m done with it. There are a select few I can read over and over. This series is one of those. I was so happy to see them bundled up into two packages because I’m a little OCD with my kindle. I read and delete unless it becomes a favorite then I keep it in my kindle or buy the hardcover. It has a small town feel, but drama that I thrive on. The romance is A plus. This is a must read for anyone and everyone!.

These books are contemporary romance, based around a group of friends within Haven Bay where everyone knows everyone. And if you are new it won't take long before everyone knows who you are.
Throughout the stories I was trying to picture where abouts in NZ that Haven Bay is.
It was great to see the use of Maori words included and Rivers did an excellent job of translating Maori into the story in a seamless mannor.
Alexa Rivers is a new to me author and I did enjoy reading the three books set in a small New Zealand town - if I was able to I would have given 3.5 stars.

If only you knew-A story about a single mom who moved away from her ex and his family because they didn’t want the baby. Her life is great and she is loving her hometown. Then in walks the principal, a blast from her past.

Pretend to by yours-A single father who is a teacher and likes to play poker on some Friday nights. It’s all good because he has Faith to help watch the boys-even if he is crushing on her. Well he comes home to people in his house and Faith saying they are together. He has to go along with the plan right? And hope his heart can handle it.
