Rate this book
When it comes to taking action, making good decisions, and cultivating inner peace, there's a unique factor in life that only you can give to yourself.

It's called " solitude."

For many people, the idea of being alone triggers fear and discomfort, even for short periods of time. But in this book, we'll explore the mental layers of the human psyche in a simple and practical way, and challenge the notion that loneliness is something to be feared.

Inside this book, you'll find a wealth of psychological concepts explained in a straightforward and accessible manner, all focused on the power of solitude and what it means to be alone. We'll provide examples and tips that are easy to incorporate into your daily life, helping you chart a clear course towards achieving your goals.

You'll learn how to not only enjoy your moments in solitude, but also how to value them and make the most of every minute. These moments will become the foundation of your character and thoughts, bringing you a sense of calm even during life's most challenging moments.

The path of life is different for everyone, and each person is the architect of their own destiny.

However, consider this

The difference between a person who earns $1 million and another who earns $100 may be just a few hours spent in solitude. The difference between those who achieve their dreams and those who don't may be how they spend their alone time. Even those who have lost everything in life can completely transform their circumstances through productive solitude.

So ask yourself, would you pay more attention to the moments you spend alone if you knew they could be the key to unlocking success in all aspects of your life?

To truly enjoy and excel in any area of life, we must learn to make the most of our solitary moments and above all understand one of the most important principles in life "The power of being alone"

Perhect audiobook for cleaning around the house to.
However, the message was a little bit misleading... Don't forget to appreciate the people you have in your life because that is the only reachness, learn how to be alone but also cut yourself out and focus on gridning for career.

Seems like the story author tells himself to justify why he cut friends from his life.
Dont get me wrong. Sometimes you have to. But the multiple chaoters where he is advicating not doing it and then the final chaoter where he defines own happiness as something that came from cutting himself out... A bit illogocal narrative.

This was an easy read, but I didn't see many (if any) new concepts. I find a lot of self-help and nonfiction books tend to lack the author's credibility - I want to know everything that makes you qualified to write this book: experience, education, the whole CV. I did not find this in the book, but did look at the author's page which states he is an entrepreneur, writer, investor and researcher, but with no details or explanation.

Many of the concepts presented - "Being alone is not the absence of love—it is the training ground for it" are not. However, I did find some of the exercises to be good ideas, as well as the alone time rituals, which spark creativity and clarity, inner joy and a sense of freedom.

Clear concise. The random inspiration reading if quotes part was boring. Easy to consume via audio book and fair food for thought. Wasn’t overly new things.
Lessons:
Validation stems from yourself
Take advantage of alone time to organize your thoughts and reflect (how u know what u want, strengths, weaknesses)
Preserve time to be alone everyday
You give value to your dreams
Basic motivations after basic needs: Power, Affiliation, Achievement (balance these to achieve fulfillment)
Stop procrastinating and just do it
Compare yourself to yesterday not others
Forgive yourself and others and let go of the past
Learn from mistakes and move on
Fight for what you want
You are nothing without your team (friends, family, co-workers) take charge to lead and coordinate to reach your goals

i listened to the free spotify audiobook on a long drive. this is a nice, short audiobook to finish in a short amount of time! it didn’t cover what i was thinking it would cover, but it was motivational nonetheless and kept me entertained while driving

This was a very easy read. Short and concise, especially in audiobook format. While it offered some motivational ideas, much of the content felt like a reiteration of themes already common in many self‑help books. It’s accessible and straightforward, but not particularly groundbreaking.

Kinda bored out of my mind listening to it. Didn’t talk about what I was expecting and hoping from it. I guess it’s just not relevant for me right now. Could be good at some point

The first few chapters examined the benefits of alone time before evolving into motivational discussions. Not much substance to the power of being alone.

This felt like a long drawn out version of "Are you lonely and depressed? Just don't be sad, try being happy." No empathy or compassionate understanding to the complexity of mental health.
