National Geographic Kids has some fantastic informational books about animals, geography, and science. The Cheetahs edition gives you all the fun facts and interesting antics of cheetahs like where the live, what they eat, and how they protect their babies. It is essentially the National Geographic television channel in a book for children!

These books would be great to use as a reward in science class for students who get their work done or would even be great to base a lesson around and use for read aloud. They are packed with lots of good information and can be found on many different animals and topics. They are educational but easy for kids to read and have beautiful wildlife photos to accompany all the facts. I remember reading some form of these as a kid in school and it was always a fun treat to pick out what animal I liked best.

Cheetahs by Laura Marsh is a great informational book for children that are interested in learning about all thing’s cheetah. This book is filled with cheetah facts and pictures that give children a basic understanding of what this animal is and all of the characteristics it possesses. I would recommend this book for children aged 5-10 who are animal lovers. The book does a great job guiding the reader through the story with text boxes, arrows, and pictures to describe the animal. It also includes helpful definitions for words that may be new to the reader. Since the book is focused on the cheetah it does not include any diversity.

I read Cheetahs by Laura Marsh. People thought cheetahs were lions. Cheetahs are long cats that look cute and cuddly and they can go faster than a car and a lion . Cheetahs chase their prey. and cheetahs cuds the mom cheetahs can hath 3 to 5 cuds. The cubs grow quickly and they can open their eyes when they are less than 10 days old. I give it a 5 because it is fun to learn about cheetahs. I recommend this book to somebody who likes cheetahs. It connects to the theme of learning something new because I learned new things about cheetahs . Do you like cheetahs?

This book was amazing! It teaches the kids about Cheetah's and How fast they are and more. It also shows the pictures of Ancient Egypt and teaches about Ancient Egypt. And the book was teaching how to say some words (that. are hard to say). They also teach kids to help the Cheetah's Live, and help the world. I think about this book that it was wonderful and amazing.

Cheetahs are the fastest animals alive. There are many different species of cheetahs with various tail sizes, spots, and hair lengths. I learned that unlike there other feline cousins, cheetahs are the only species that live solitaire. They also give birth to less cubs than other species.

I love the National Geographic books and magazines. They are always very informative and factual. This one is about she does and how they live their life and it includes multiple pictures of them. I would use this book in a science lesson.

The cheetah is a very fast runner and if you got near a cheetah's baby she will attack you. They have spots all over them and they have stripes near their eyes but leopards don't have lines near them. Babies are born blind. Their moms pick them up with their teeth. Boy cheetahs stay together. - age 6
