reread
i actually only read the first 4 books, and realized i had read them before. kora seemed a lot less annoying to me with this reread,but i skipped around quite a bit,so i may have missed what irritated me before. as for the other books ,it"s just my reader preference to not choose a one couple trilogy,and the heroine was already irksome *to ME* after only a few chapters,so i just flipped to the epilogue. it was a good one,so there is that.

At 4% into this book and only having known the main male character for 30 minutes Aspen is manipulated into sex. He is using his "pharamones" on her to make her body want sex. She is threatened with a memory wipe and later a spanking for her cooperation. He threatened to have one of his men spank her friend if she did not do as she was told and the friend too. She is given no choice but to submit and also be submissive. This this rape. I am disgusted.

Enjoyable
I really liked all the stories. Each one is similar but different per couple. I love the dynamics between the MMC and the MFC. I think the last story was kinda long, but it might have been me. I'm not sure. But each story was good , and It had a HEA and great characters. I don't often read all the books in a series, but this one was so good i just kept going.

DNF made it to chapter 29 of first book..every punishment was a rinse and repeat for 28 chapters. If that had been taken out it would have at least had some plot in there before I was bored out of my mind skipping chapters.

Wow, what a ride. It has everything a sci-fi romance needs. Hot alpha aliens, blood, gore and lots of sex.
