Former sniper, Bennett had a laser focus. Nothing detracted him from his mission. Unless it was the mission herself.
Terrance Bennett found a new home with Lighthouse Security after his career as an Army Ranger. His new assignment had him heading to the bright lights of Las Vegas to provide security for a visually-impaired scientist at a conference. The mission would be simple. Stay focused. Provide her with a safe environment. Perfect for a sullen loner.
Then he met her. Bright. Happy. Confident. Beautiful. Determined to have him explore the city, letting him be her eyes. And he fell under her spell, feeling emotions he thought were lost forever.
Then danger came her way when he wasn’t focused. Now, determined to go back to who he was, he wants to keep her safe. But who will keep his heart safe from her?
As an Award Winning and International Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo Best Selling Author, I have always been an avid reader. I joke that I "cut my romance teeth" on the old historical romance books. I’ve written as a hobby for over 30 years. In 2014, I finally gave in to the characters in my head pleading for their story to be told. Thus, Emma's Home was created.
My first novel, Emma's Home became an Amazon Best Seller in 3 categories within the first month of publishing. Its success was followed by the rest of the Fairfield Series and then led into the Love's Series. From there I have continued with the romantic suspense Alvarez Security Series and now the Saints Protection & Investigation Series.
My books are filled with sweet romance and hot sex; mystery, suspense, real life characters and situations. My heroes are alphas, take charge men who love the strong, independent women they fall in love with. I worked as a counselor in a high school and have been involved in education for the past 30 years. I recently retired and now can spend more time devoted to my writing.
I have been married to a wonderfully patient man for 35 years and have 2 adult, very supportive daughters. When writing, my dog or one of my cats will usually be found in my lap!
There’s nothing more heartwarming than reading a Maryann Jordan romance, and this book is no different. It was beautiful and awe inspiring and oh so special it made my heart skip a beat.
Journeying back into the lives of LSIWC is like meeting up with old friends, the kind of friends where you just instantly pick up from where you left last time. I love the glimpse we get into Carson and the other guys lives, watching them develop further and further.
Bennett has such a beautiful soul, all I wanted to do was reach through the pages of this book and hug him. He is, in part, a result of his childhood. He was treated so badly my heart broke for him and you can clearly see that his life is about protecting himself, his walls firmly in place to stop the hurt he feels he deserves.
I think this is a valuable lesson. People say things that hurtful and unforgettable, their aim either to cause pain with their nastiness or just sheer incapability to think of anyone but themselves.
Watching Bennett come to the realisation that he was worthy of love was so heartwarming.
Diana is an awesome character. So brave and strong. She has been a victim of a tragic accident but she hasn’t let it hold her back in anyway. Watching her manoeuvre through life despite her handicap and fear was awe inspiring.
I can’t imagine the pain she went through losing the majority of her sight. Seeing is something we all take for granted. I find it hard when I lose my vision with a migraine, I can’t begin to comprehend losing that forever.
This is a powerful message to send. Despite her handicap Diana is a force to be reckoned with, she is still as successful and living the best life she can.
Maryann Jordan has written this book absolutely perfectly. She has given us two characters that do not have perfect lives, both struggling in some way and she has given them a chance, a beautiful chance to find the one person that not only accepts who they are but loves them for it.
The latest Lighthouse Security Investigation West Coast story is romantic suspense at its best with two beautifully crafted sympathetic characters. I will confess Terrance Bennett and Diana Olsen had to grow on me but they did pretty quickly and they will absolutely find a place in your heart. Terrance Bennett has been focused and dedicated his whole career, first as an Army Ranger sniper and now as an LSI Keeper. The mission is everything, always striving to improve and perform better, Bennett has been shaped by a childhood of physical and verbal abuse, now he hides his lack of self worth behind the high walls he has erected to protect himself. Surrounded by so many fellow Keepers who have found their HEA Bennett knows love is not on the cards for him. Dr Diana Olsen is a brilliant scientist tragically left only partially sighted by a work accident. Diana strives to live a normal life and not be defined by her limited sight but when concerns are raised about her security she finds herself with Terrance Bennett for a bodyguard for a trip to Las Vegas to pick up an award at a conference. Although Terrance doesn’t think he’s the ideal choice for the assignment he approaches it as he always does with detailed research and laser focus but when the dedicated operative and loner meets the shining star yet vulnerable scientist they are both jolted by their instant attraction and connection. Torrance’s focus falters as Diana starts to crumble his walls awakening heart and all his protective instincts, can he start to see himself as the truly worthy man that Diana and everyone else sees? As their connection and feelings grow danger lurks and Terrance must regain his focus to keep Diana safe from the threats surrounding her. Action, suspense, drama - industrial espionage, kidnapping, attempted murder, an excellent plot twist and the evolving relationship of two beautiful characters who have faced adversity and survived to find their reward of each other. I loved this story and highly recommend you read it. I received an arc from the author and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
This is the love story of two people who couldn’t be more different than each other. Terrance Bennett had an abusive, unloving childhood after his mother left him and his father. As a result, he is a loner, who rarely talks to anybody and never dates. He considers himself ugly and unlovable. When Bennett turned eighteen he became an Army Ranger sniper. He now works as an agent LSIC.
Diana Olson is a scientist who has a doctorate in chemistry and is an explosive expert for her deceased father’s company. Two years ago, Diana was involved in an industrial accident. She did not completely lose her sight, but her left eye has very little vision. And her right eye can only see shapes and outlines unless she is very close to the person.
Diana is going to a business conference for the first time since her injury. There is no actual security problem, but Diana needs someone to help her get around Las Vegas and the conference. Without her sight she is vulnerable and almost helpless. Her family hires Terrance from the LSIC to help her.
The romance between Diana and Terrance is so beautiful and heartwarming. There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that they are soul mates. Terrance immediately falls in love with Diana as soon as he meets her. Since Diana’s handicap allows her to see Terrance’s true nature, she quickly realizes that he is a gentle, kind man who completely understands her and her handicap. Thus, she falls madly in love with him.
Unfortunately, Diana and Bennett discover that she is being pursued by “bad men” with guns who have no problem using them. The couple must run and hide to keep her safe. Readers will be captivated by the non-stop action and riveting intrigue that follows as they try to figure out what is going on. The story ends with a lot of surprises.
This is book six in The Lighthouse Investigations West Coast series and it is Bennett and Diana’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. Bennett was a army ranger sniper but now he works for LIWC who are also known as the keepers and he loved what he did and working with an amazing team/brothers was his calling after leaving the army. Bennetts next assignment was in Las Vegas as personal security for Diana Olson who is a scientist attending a conference and after a accident in the lab two years ago she now only had partial sight and needed someone you help guide her and protect her. Diana is going to Las Vegas to except a industry award for Olson Geo Tech and they are also doing a tribute to her father who died and she realised that her uncle had got her security in case there was a threat especially with her knowledge of the industry. The attraction between Bennett and Diana is instant and the connection and chemistry so strong and intense that it was a beautiful thing to see but Bennett is determined to keep his distance and just do his job to protect and make sure that Diana is safe especially as he wasn’t cut out for relationships and she was to good for him. The more time that they spent together the harder they fall for each other but danger is just around the corner watching and waiting for the right time to strike but will they all get out alive and get the happiness and future that they both deserve. I couldn’t put this book down and read it in one sitting but hey who needs sleep when you have such an amazing and addictive book to read by one of my favourite authors well not me ha ha. I definitely recommend you read this book and others by Maryann Jordon who is an amazing author and writer and her books are definitely worth reading.
In the first chapter of Bennett has all the background information you need to know about Terrance. His focus, intensity, stoicism and dedication to his mission are clearly and thoughtfully spelled out. I have yet to meet a Maryann Jordan created character I didn't like or admire. I was impressed and grew to like him even more because of the gentle, caring and solicitous manner the he used with Dr. Diana Olson. Because of his upbringing he doesn't see the man others do including Diana. She, too, was impressive. A brilliant dedicated scientist, strong willed, loyal and beautiful. However an industrial accident left her visually impaired and therefore vulnerable in new situations and locales therfore, she's in need of assistance at a Las Vegas convention. Enter Lighthouse Security and Terrance who's assigned as her protection. He approaches this assignment with his usual intense focus. He learns not just about her but about what it will take for her to feel safe and comfortable as well as protected. From the moment they meet it's readily apparent there's a connection between them. Spending time together only strengthens the connection. Of course this wouldn't be romantic suspense if things didn't go sideways. Corporate espionage, black market dealing, kidnapping and attempted murder come into play. Terrance and Diana come through it all a bit battered but there's no doubt about their feelings for one another.
This talented storyteller delivers another wonderful story in this series. Terrence Bennett, former Army Ranger sniper, had a childhood no child should have endured . One leaving him with physical and emotional scars. A loner that feels he will never be good enough to love, he dedicates his life to his job. His new assignment is Dr. Diana Olson, a brilliant, beautiful scientist , that after a lab accident, is left partially blind. But that doesn’t stop her from wanting to live life. Concerned about her security, LSI has been engaged to have a bodyguard stay by her side while attending a conference in Vegas. What neither expected was an attraction and a connection. The rough around the edges man, feels more than protective. But he’s there to do a job. When danger seems to be surrounding it, Terrence is determined to keep her safe. Will they figure out who is wanting to harm Diana? Will they survive the danger and give the relationship a try? The plot was engaging and the characters strong and likable. At times heartbreaking, the story was also one filled with heart. Another winner in this series. I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions are solely my own.
Terrance Bennett is guarded and a bit of a loner who doesn’t believe that he is lovable, he doesn’t do relationships. He is an excellent sniper, follows the rules and takes his jobs seriously and professionally….until Diana. Diana is a chemist who makes explosives for her company, unfortunately she was in an accident in the lab that caused her to become partially blind. She’s adapted but does not go out like she used to, so when she is asked to go to Vegas to accept an award on behalf her dad who is deceased, her uncle wants her to have security and calls LI and they send Bennett…..and their story begins. A story that can’t be missed, that will have you cheering for these two. I LOVED Bennett and Diana, she SEES Bennett for the man he is and when Bennett lets his control go….WHOWEEE!! The story flowed beautifully with out skipping a beat and the descriptions were spot on, making you feel like you were right there in the middle of it all. Not only that but the suspense, action, surprises, twists and turns will have you flipping the pages and the connection between these two will have you sighing and swooning. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
Bennett is the sixth book in the Lighthouse Security Investigations: West Coast series by Maryann Jordan... Okay, so if you’re into romantic suspense with a big dose of action, loyalty, and swoon-worthy heroes, then this series is basically like binge-watching your favorite action-drama TV show … but in book form. Maryann Jordan gives us a crew of ex-SEALs, Rangers, Special Forces, and other elite badasses who now run a top-tier security and investigations company on the West Coast. Each book focuses in on a different team member, so you get a fresh romance with each separate instalment, but with the same tight-knit “found family” vibe running through the whole collection. With plenty of danger, mystery, and high-stakes missions - mixed with tender, slow-burn (or sometimes fast-burn) romance/s. And the chemistry between the couples feels natural, while the banter is fun without being too cheesy. It’s the kind of series where you finish one book and immediately want to jump into the next. And honestly, the mix of adrenaline and heart makes it quite addictive. Happy Reading…
A man who thinks he's nothing proves he's everything.
No kid should have to grow up like Bennett. To still carry his abusive father's words as truth into adulthood is heartbreaking. That's what we get with Bennett. Strong and tough on the outside, insecure and unsure of his worth on the inside. When he meets the woman he's been tasked with protecting while she attends a conference, his insecurities flare as his attraction is almost instant. Diana becomes just as enamored with the big man whose gentle disposition makes her heart flutter. It's the little things he does for the visually impaired woman that allow feelings to take root. The man sees everything and helps her navigate through her fuzzy world with ease.
Another wonderful love story with a flawed hero that makes you swoon. The suspense builds as the cast of potential bad guys increases. With kidnappings, explosions, almost being buried alive, and a final confrontation, all will keep you turning the pages well past your bedtime.
BENNETT is the sixth in Maryann Jordan’s Lighthouse Security Investigations West Coast series. Terrance Bennett has been a part of the Lighthouse Security team since leaving the army Rangers, and has found a team that supported him in making a smooth transition to civilian life. His latest assignment has him escorting Dr Diana Olson to an explosives conferences in Las Vegas.
The protection detail is something he’s provided with ease. The spark of interest between the sight impaired scientist and himself catches him completely off guard.
Maryann Jordan’s story is a great mix of romance and suspense, as Diana and Terrance decide how to proceed with the unexpected personally and professionally. It is lovely to watch Diana and Terrance find someone who sees and appreciates them as they truly are, and the security they find as they learn to trust each other and work together, alongside their teams, is heartening and inspiring. A terrific addition to this exciting series.
Diana may be visually impaired but for the first time in his life Bennett feels that someone actually 'sees' him. She very quickly understands his stern look and slightly awkward demeanour are left over from his upbringing and not because of something she has done. It is Bennett dealing with feelings and emotions he has never had and has no idea how to handle, I love that no matter how awkward it makes him feel he never lies to Diana, he tries to explain his feelings and difficulties. Bennett makes Diana feel safe, he quickly assesses what she needs from him and easily provides it, it becomes second nature for him to adjust to her impairment, almost as if he no longer has to think about it. It is freeing to know he sees her, not her disability. It's heartwarming to see Bennett and Diana's relationship evolve and grow, they just naturally sense what the other needs and adjust to provide it, no thought, just an action as natural as breathing. Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale
The sixth installment of Maryann Jordan's Lighthouse Security Investigations:West Coast series is phenomenal!!! Bennett and Diana's story had me enthralled constantly, and I didn't want to put it down.
Having physical limitations of my own, Diana's back story was familiar, and yet inspiring at the same time. Even though it has been challenging at times, she hasn't let her sight limitations stop her from doing a job she loves.
LSIWC has been tasked with providing personal security for Diana when she attends a conference in Las Vegas. Bennett is a former sniper who prides himself on his laser focus. Can this former Army Ranger move past his insecurities in order to protect Diana??? And will mutual attraction impede that???
When danger strikes, can they both survive, and find love??? To find out, go grab a copy of Bennett today! I promise you, you won't be disappointed!!!!! 5 stars across the board!!!!!
Once again we are with the men of the West Coast branch of Lighthouse Security and this time we get Bennett's story. He is definitely a product of his childhood deserted by his mother and abused by his father he joined the army as soon as he could There his skills with a rifle soon had him trained as a sniper but this was another thing that made him pull away from human contact Now as a member of LSI West he sees his fellow lightkeepers finding love but knows that will never happen for him. Then he is sent to protect and guide a woman with sight issues ta aa conference in Las Vegas Dr. Diana Olson is nothing like he expected and soon she is knocking dowm the walls that Bennet has built around his heart But as danger gets closer Bennett will blame himself for a loss of concentration that leads to her been in danger. Can he with the help of his team save her in time You will have to read to see. But be prepared for two major twists that you won't see coming
I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Bennett . I really enjoyed reading this sensational suspense romance . Former Army Ranger Terrance Bennett works for Lighthouse Security Investigation West Coast . His new assignment is to be personal security for Dr. Diana Olson she has a chemistry back ground and she's an explosive expert working for her family's company Geo Tech She had an accident several years ago and only has partial sight . She's attending a conference in Las Vegas to accept an award . Upon meeting they are both attracted to one another . Bennett tried to keep it all business but as they spend time together their attraction grows . When danger comes at Diana , Bennett finds himself in the cross hairs . Bennett and the keepers work to save and protect Diana . This story is spectacular. It's intriguing and suspenseful and definitely action packed . They characters are fantastic . I highly recommend taking the time to read .
Bennett is a Keeper from the West Coast branch of the Lighthouse Keepers, but doesn’t see himself in the same way as others see him. An abused child that joined the military to become one of the Army’s snipers, he manages his life like he did his career. Each job the same, then home was always the same. Same tasks in the same order. Until he is given the job of protecting a chemist that after an accident has lost much of her sight. Knowing he isn’t right for this job; he’s not given the chance to bow out. After meeting her, he knows he’s not the right person but will do everything in his power to keep her safe.
It’s a great book and addition to the series. It shows everyone’s tendencies to see the worst in themselves as well as showing them that the world doesn’t see them the same way. I highly recommend this book.
BENNETT LIGHTHOUSE SECURITY INVESTIGATION WEST COAST MARYANN JORDAN
Life throws changes at Bennett, but he lands with the LSIWC and continues his protective skills. Though he still believes some of the garbage his dad said about him. Life throws changes at Diana. Seriously affecting her eye sight and her career. Though her heart remains the same. This is such a sweet story that draws you in by your heart strings. The caring attitude that Bennett develops for Diana and the trust she develops in him can bring all the emotions to the forefront. Throw in work espionage and plenty of twists and turns in the suspense that have you reading page after page until the end. Then as you think you know the ending, wham! Surprise! Definitely a different twist. Another great addition to the Lighthouse series.
I just finished Bennett by Maryann Jordan. The premise of this story is certainly not new, in fact it is what the entire series of "lighthouse keepers" is based upon. Strong, brave, protectors who find their forever while they are protecting and serving. However, that is where the similarities end. Once again, Maryanne has woven a delightful story that draws us in and provides us with new "friends" to follow. Suspense, romance, and intrigue entertain and provide just a few minutes of escape to that special place we all need at the end of a crazy day! Is it her "very best yet" book? That I can't say, (she's written almost 100 after all)😳 and, I have really loved some of them .. BUT, I can say, I am going to buy this book, and it will be one I pull out to reread when I need the comfort of a visit of an old friend, it is THAT GOOD. Thank you Maryanne, you never disappoint.
BENNETT by Maryann Jordan. I adored this book - I loved both main characters and the story flowed smoothly and had excitement, suspense, danger and love. This is the story of Bennett and Diana. I adored Bennett - while confident in his job, he wasn't so in himself. Not believing he was enough for Diana yet all his actions proved otherwise. And Diana - she is smart and independent - but her disability makes her rely on others and because of it, she never felt she would find love. They balanced each other perfectly and it was such a joy to read. Of course, being an LSIWC story, there had to be some danger and mystery, and Ms. Jordan did not disappoint. Overall, this is one of my favorite LSIWC tales (and I have enjoyed the others immensely) and I now I will re read it in the future without a doubt. (Received ARC for honest review)
Terrence (Bennett) always came off to me as a quiet and not many words type of guy. So, the chance to get to know him and see what the inner workings of his brain are intrigued me. Terrence ended up being so different from what I expected...he really is a caring and protective person. Diana ended up being such a great heroine. She so didn't allow her disability to define her or her career to become her. Watching the two of them bring out emotions in one another was a great to read. It made the saying that true love makes a person whole come to mind. The traits of one another helped bring out new and different traits in each one. The little twist throughout the story kept things moving and the large twist at the end definitely caught me off guard. I love the ending and how the fellow keepers are brought in to finish the story and prepare us for the next book.
What Starts in Vegas...Lasts Another exceptional Lighthouse Security Investigation - West Coast (LSIWC) suspense adventure novel. Maryann Jordan has created a detailed mystery of intrigue and danger. Terrance Bennett, former US Army Ranger sniper, is now a private operator for LSI-WC. He is stalwart, honest and a loner. He takes his security responsibilities very seriously. He is assigned the temporary bodyguard position for Dr. Diana Olson, explosives engineer. She has sight limitations and Bennett is to keep her safe during a Las Vegas convention. It turns out there are many criminal elements interested in her cutting edge research. Bennett becomes invested in all aspects of Diana's safety, in all ways. And she is very interested in him. A lovely love story wrapped up in an exciting and tantalizing experience. Terrific story of two opposites drawn together for life.

Bennett is the latest book in the Lighthouse Investigation, West Coast series, and it is fantastic. I couldn’t put it down, and I read it in one day. The twist at the end is an added bonus. You won’t see it coming. Terrance Bennett is hired by Dr. Diana Olson’s uncle to escort her to a conference. She needs assistance since she lost part of her sight in a lab accident. Bennett isn’t good at hanging out and making small talk, but Diana draws him out of his shell. He finds himself falling for the sassy Scientist. He is determined to protect her when real danger presents itself. Maryann Jordan always keeps her stories new and exciting. Bennett was full of suspense, and it was a sweet and sexy romance. I can’t wait for the next book!
OMG what a ride you will be on reading MaryAnn’s story of Bennett and Diana. Bennett has been sent to be protection for Diana at a conference. Bennett had once been an Army Ranger sniper which gives him unbelievable patience. Diana works for an explosives company which was founded by her father. She is an expert in the field like her dad however due to an accident it leaves her vulnerable when she is out and about. In this book you will meet two very divergent characters but find they share many of the same qualities about life in general. Of the rest of LSI-WC is there to lend a hand. MaryAnn will not disappoint you with this book. Enjoy meeting Diana and Bennett it will not disappoint you.
Can a woman with partial sight, make a man who’s blind to his goodness; finally get him to see his true worth? Bennett knows he was good at his job in the services, and as a Keeper too. However, he’s thinks he’s worthless for being in any kind of relationship, so plans to keep his distance from his team, and from romance too. Diana had a great childhood, excelling in sciences she followed in her fathers’ footsteps and joined the family company. Loosing most of her sight drastically changed her life, but she’s not convinced she needs security during a Vegas seminar. There’s something about Bennett that just clicks with her, and the gentle giant is very tuned into her needs. She’s just got to convince him he’s the best fit for her. Just love these two, and how the LSIWC guys showed Bennett he was one of them whether he wanted it be or not. This couple was a wee bit different to others from MJ that I’ve read, and each Keeper just keep getting better with every new addition to the series.
I received a review reader’s copy of the book, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Bennett is a former Army Ranger sniper working Lighthouse Security. Bennett isn't very good talking to people and it is his turn Dr. Diana Olsen is a chemistry explosive like her father that is dead. Her father and uncle started the company and she worked there with her father till he wrecked and died. People is wanting what she has been working and she is having to go to the conference because her father is getting an award. While working she was blinded when it exploded in the left eye and problems with her right eye. Bennett is her bodyguard because the uncle thinks she needed someone to help her traveling where she has never been. Bennett has slot of things she doesn't know why but the sparks are fling between the both and he worries because he is attracted to her
What an amazing story! Bennett is a former Army Ranger Sniper who had a challenging childhood. He now works for Lighthouse Security West Coast. He dedicates himself to his job and fellow teammates as he feels unworthy and unlovable. His current assignment is Diana; a scientist who was injured and has her own challenges. She is a beautiful interruption that Bennett needs. Who is trying to get to Diana? Will Bennett be there in time? Can they both survive what is thrown at them?? This story has it all. Intrigue, a few twists and an adventure that will keep you reading late into the night to finish it. This story was well written, realistic and loved the character development and how they both grow. 5+ stars. This book will not disappoint!!
Bennett grew up without a mom and his dad was an abusive jerk. Diana grew up with both living parents. There is an instant attraction but she is his mission and he can't fall for the mission because he loses focus on what he is supposed to be doing. When she gets kidnapped he about loses his mind. Diana thinks he was killed when she was kidnapped so she had to figure out a way to escape . will she get out on her own before the kidnapper vids out she is gone? Will Bennett find her? Who kidnapped her and how is her step brother involved? Can the Keepers keep her safe once she returns home until they find who is responsible for the kidnapping?
This book grabbed my attention instantly and held it hostage until the last page. Bennett is the strong silent type of guy, he’s there when you need him but holds himself apart. Alex’s eyesight is damaged following a laboratory incident but she doesn’t let it impact her life. I admired Alex so much for her strength and inner fortitude. The chemistry (excuse the pun) between Alex and Bennett is incredible. I loved the story itself and overall it’s just a really good book. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I received this book from the author. I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Excellent story! I love Terrance & Diana! They form a great friendship while he's tasked with protecting her. I love his reluctant fall - she's more open to it, but understands his viewpoint, too. Her strength throughout this new normal after her accident draws Bennett in & allows him to heal from the abuse of his parents. He's never given himself grace until he starts to see himself through Diana's eyes & I just really FELT for him! And I adore Diana!!
Wonderful representation of her limitations and strengths. Highly enjoyable time spent with this couple, and the suspense is on point as always! The fact that they're together on the page for most of the story is also my favorite!
Terence Bennett works for Lighthouse Security WC, former Army Ranger sniper. Dr Diana Olson works fo OlsonGeo Rech chemistry and explosive expert.
Diana and Terence meet before her at conference at the ( International Society of Explosive Engineers with ATF and OSHA present ), at The Belliago in Las Vegas, Nevada. They got off to rocky start Bennett, serious, stoic, sexy alpha male. Diana is a petite independent sexy female. Can they survive the possible danger at the conference of possible espionage of technology for not good intentions and have a Happily Ever After.
This book has suspense, romance, intrigue, twists, turns and lots of emotions.
Another captivating LSIWC story by Maryann Jordan! Terrence and Diana were a fantastic duo. Diana works for an explosives company and after an unfortunate accident has partial blindness. Terrence is a member of LSIWC and is sent to be a bodyguard for Diana during a conference. These two had such a connection right away and had so much happen I had to remind myself that they only knew each other a few days but the chemistry was off the charts. I always love the action, suspense and romance that comes from reading a Maryann Jordan book. What a surprise to have such a twist at the end, too. 5 Stars for Bennett!
