Very useful and light. Not incredibly comprehensive, but includes all the great information for what it claims to serve and that's recognizing birds from how they appear to be in flight or in perch in realistic situations. Includes a much larger compedium of birds and goes over all the commonee birds that other birdwatchinf books seem to ignore. Perfect for what it is.
Okay as a very basic field guide, but contains very little information generally. All images are drawn, and not always accurate in colour. Concentrates too much on non-native birds, to the detriment of our species, and the owl 'section' is shockingly inadequate.
