The Deal
‘Everybody has their own journey; their own story’ – and surviving the Regalo project is only part of mine. And you know that saying, desperate times call for desperate measures, that could be the next chapter in my life.
I never thought I’d call the Alpha Alliance, and ask for assistance, but here we are. Somehow, that one call ends with me agreeing to go offline with four alphas. Four crazy good-looking alphas that ‘feel’ right. And don’t get me started about the way they smell...

2.5⭐️ but rounded up.
This book had a lot of promise. It was definitely a bit different of a take on omegaverse but the same too. I didn’t realize it was a spin off but it made sense as I was reading that baileys story would have come first. But anyways, let’s get down to it.
Likes:
Storyline was good.
Most of the sexy times were good.

Some of the sexy times were FTB or the positioning just didn’t make sense at all.

I gag as he hits my throat, but it slides down like a tasty dessert, filling my tummy and warming my soul.
“Fill my tummy with your come.”
I’m all for dirty talk and everything happening during these scenes but this is just a whole bag of nope! It’s not sexy, it’s not cute, and the wording is just horrible. There’s different ways things like that could have been said. 🤢🤢
Things happen in the book with no context. Things that happen don’t make sense. It has potential but we need more explanations. The back story was never properly explained. Things are very jumbled and incomplete.
Overall, I enjoyed some parts of the book but it feels like a lot of the story is missing.

The Deal is Omega Lennon's (FMC) story and she is completely the opposite of what you'd expect an Omega to be. She's neither weak or submissive. She's sassy & strong with her dog - Ares she has her own back-up too. When events in her life escalate and become dangerous for her she lands in with a new pack - Silver Fox - Lincoln (swoon!!!), hot doc - Noah and twin brothers - Valak & Gabe. Oh boy do they bring on the steam!! Holy hotness did they heat up my kindle!!!
This was a killer read with characters I loved. It was great to see Bailey (from The Gift the book before this one) and her pack pop up in this book too. I love crossover characters popping up in different book.

I liked the beginning half with the relationship setup, but honestly my biggest issue was the disjointed storytelling was jarring and hard to follow. Sudden progressions in relationship development and action would jump forward with no warning, and then the story would backtrack and try to explain it better and make more sense. There were also some significant plot points that were just glossed over in general and never explained further. Why was the pack named after and not ? The first book explained how alpha politics fell outside normal society laws, but I don't recall that really explained in this book as a standalone.
While I liked all the distinct personalities of each of the men, I thought the MM relationship between was added for no real good reason. The relationships would have been fine without its addition.
Overall, I did like the worldbuilding even if it was delivered in such a haphazard way that I think I'd still be willing to check out future books in the series. I did waffle between a 4-star and 3-star for this book, but ultimately I found the writing too confusing and unsatisfying overall.
Romance:

not for me
Just not the kind of writing I like. It seemed a little disjointed, I sometimes had a hard time following who was doing what and how they got from point A to point B. And I already noticed several plot holes. (She covered her hair because it’s purple and easily recognizable but then suddenly she’s naked for sexy time and doesn’t think about it?) idk, there were several instances like that where things didn’t quite line up.
Also they jumped into physical stuff ASAP and I prefer a little more buildup. I’ve read sex scenes by other authors that are filthy yet so sexy; the scenes in this book are simply filthy. I was cringing through the few I read.

5⭐️ I’m so emblazoned by this story! It’s so passionate and activist I love it!
This story is awesome I love how exciting and action packed it is from the get go. I haven’t read that many omega verse stories and I’m really intrigued by the whole premise and I’m enjoying how the alpha and omega dynamics play out. It’s really interesting.
This is some next level John Wick action. Like for reals it’s so detailed and there’s so much going on at once but I never lost track. Great writing!
There’s twins in the pack. Twins! Did I mention the twins! Gah! I’m obsessed with twins! I want a Twinsome, just sayin! I want a pack, a giant love nest and people to shower me with heat gifts!
The spice is awesome. I love the combinations and variations so steamy goodness! The MM added the best angle too!
I would have liked more from the alternative POV’s. Similarly to another whychoose I read recently, this one feels dominated by the FMC. I love hearing the MMC’s side and in particular in the whychoose crew space. It adds detail and depth to the read.

The first like 25-30% of the book was really good, but then the writing plummeted into a weird jumble of words that I couldn’t process.
The only 2 things that were coherently written about consistently were her business and her dog. Like those were the focus of the book instead of the relationship and weird shit they were running from which were written about more(since they’re the whole fucking plot) but the writing was less coherent.
I don’t know if I’m explaining this correctly.
My brain feels like mush after trying to hard to even understand what was happening let alone picture it all like I want when I read.
It was a fail for me. 🤷🏻♀️

I am so sad this story is over. I loved Lennon and Ares. I had one too. She saved my life a week after I got her. Long story. Crazy ex. Enough said. But I loved her strength and the love of her pack. I want to come back as an omega, with right alphas, of course. Talented author. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥/5

DNF at 20%
I just couldn’t with this book. I will usually try to push through bc some books will get better, but this one did not. For starters, it started like a sequel versus a standalone. I was really confused at first. Usually books that start on high action will slow back down and do some world or character building. This book jumped straight to spicy scenes. The guys don’t even know her name at this point. The guys also never stop and think that maybe this girl has seen some stuff and maybe deserves some kid gloves. It was just a weird transition from rescuing her, to spicy. I need a little more connection between the characters and it just wasn’t there.
I can’t speak about the rest of the book but based on other reviews, it doesn’t get better.
I did like the idea of Lennon and this world but the execution just wasn’t there for me.

Yessss!
I really enjoyed Bailey’s story, but I absolutely loved Lennon’s.
She’s beautiful inside out. Her genetics and story are like no others, and she’s overcome soo much. Her ability to still want justice, love others, and find love is beyond the magic of healing in her dark world.
There are more keep you on the edge of your seat moments then I count. I actually cried more than once. There is a lot of steam and the need for a cold shower as well. The feels, the emotions this beautifully written story brings out are spellbinding.
Well done Lucy Scott Bryan! I’m a huge fan of all your works, but this one is going down as my favorite thus far.
Fellow readers: please read the trigger warnings, your mental health is important, but if they won’t effect you, definitely recommend.

Holy moly!!!!! This story is absolutely incredible. It was a roller coaster of an emotional ride. I absolutely loved Lennon she was in incredible. She has a strength that is felt throughout the entire story. She is a kick butt and take names later kind of lady. But yet, she kind and caring. The guys are just amazing as well. They are so protective and caring for her. Oh and then we have Ares. Goodness, I want an Ares so badly. This story has so much action, drama, and suspense throughout it. At times my heart actually aches at the emotional issues occurring. I loved that we see previous books characters in this one. It added to beautiful and stunning writing that took place. Lucy Scott Bryan always writes amazing stories that are like poetry in motion. They always draw you in and don’t let go. This one is no different. Honestly, I would absolutely love to see this book made into a movie. It is so incredibly good. The journey that we take with Lennon and the guys is one that you feel you are taking alongside a group of your friends. You become so invested into characters that you feel every emotion they experience. You feel the happiness, sadness, the pain and anger all along with them. And the end was priceless. I absolutely loved it. This is a fantastic must read. It will not disappoint.

This is such a fantastic book! If you are looking for a steamy, emotion packed, contemporary, omegaverse romance with incredible characters and storyline then I would highly recommend this book.
I have read a lot of omegaverse stories, and I must say, this is definitely one of my favorites. Lennon is such a fantastic FMC. I loved her personality and the sheer mental strength she possesses. She has been through so much horror in her life, but she doesn’t let it define her, and I absolutely love that about her. I also loved Lennon’s guys and the way their relationships with Lennon evolved.
The writing, characters, character development, relationship development, world building, flow, and storytelling are all wonderful. The storyline is seriously addictive and I did not want it to end. But alas all good things must come to an end and I do love a great HEA.
I definitely consider this book a Must Read and I cannot wait for more from this brilliant author.

This story starts off right away grabbing your attention. With the twist and turns and the roller-coaster my emtions went on, I didn't want to put it down!!
We get action, suspense, steam and more!

Lennon and the guys face so much in this book and the journey wasn't always easy, but the rewards ended up being everything. (The epilogue is perfect)
The way they cared for each other, felt like the were a true family. I loved seeing the growth in each of them but also as a whole.

Lennon was such an amazing character, she was so strong and determined but with an amazing amount of empathy. She is an omega, on the run, but also one of the top talent agents to countless celebrities and musicians. After reading The Gift, we knew Lennon was on the run and in this book we get to meet her as she has just been attacked with an attempted abduction. She calls the Alliance for help when her protection dog, Ares is hurt and meet Gabe over the phone. Then Alpha’s Valak and Lincoln show up to help with the abductors, and then we finally meet Noah the doctor. The four alpha’s whisk Lennon away to safety while she and Ares heal. During that time, she struggles to let two of the alphas know that she knows them through her work. They don’t recognised her since she only speaks with her clients over phone and email. The four of them have so much chemistry from the beginning of the book, that you are cheering for them to hurry and pack up! Lennon and her guys have so many obstacles, but I absolutely loved how much they all cared about each other and especially Lennon. They made her and her work the priority and in turn Lennon made them her world. The epilogue was everything!!

I received a copy of this arc in exchange for my honest review. Lucy was my first jump in to the omegaverse world, and she had me hooked instantly! I’ve been waiting months to get Lennon’s story. We are introduced to Lennon in the predeceasing book, The Gift, as one of Bailey’s close friends. This book was easily addictive, provocative and emotional, and I devoured it.
Lennon is a powerhouse, she’s strong willed and Independent, a heroine who his admirable. Her men are enough to make your pant!es melt, their chemistry as a pack left me absolutely breathless.
Plot building and character growth was strong.
Readers of omegaverse will not be disappointed ! Hot, captivating and so well written !

Lennon is literally everything this woman right here has been put through some ish and she came out on top. She is a complete baddie who literally needs no one but could really use someone or someone’s as it turns out. Then there is Ares lord don’t even get me started with Ares you will have to dive in to find out the ever amazing Ares because there is nothing I can say that will prepare you. Then we get to Lennon’s men and holy MFKN hotness all of them are just delectable and I wanted them all!! I love how protective they are even when Lennon fights them at every turn. But Lennon found her family and their story is heart breaking and beautiful and everything I needed and so much more I can’t tell you enough that you need to read this book now!

Lennox is a super hero
I cannot say enough about powerful women finding powerful men and enabling the absolute hell out of each other. It is so dreamy, so welcomed. I love the way Lennox is, how she opened her heart so much to the guys, and still kept her strength and attitude.
The guys had less POV time but through Lennox and her immaculate ability to read people, we learned so much about how they are. We didn’t learn much about them in their history, but it works for the story to have them be independent, functional adults without needing to justify how they got this way.
I do have to say I’m not a big fan of pregnancy endings but this one was so heartwarming (and spicy) that I ended up enjoying it anyway.

Go into this book with open eyes and a strong heart because some of the emotional aspects and triggers had me bawling.
I absolutely loved how the omega in this story isnt weak and can stand up for herself. Usually all of the omega stories are the same and I haven't loved the MC as much because of it! Don't expect this female to roll over and give up!
On that note, her men are to D** for! Seriously where do I find a set of men like them? I'm not usually one for the silver fox trope but dang did this make me reconsider!

I think Lennon is now one of my fav MC she’s a badass in her own right, yet still an omega. I absolutely adore the chemistry between her and her fellas and love that her take no prisoners attitude transfers into their relationship too!
If you are a fan of omegaverse, sexy men, and badass MC that take no shit. This may very well be the book for you. *you may have any to check out The Gift first as their is crossover that will give things away*

Wow. This was such a fantastic story. Omg. I absolutely loved it!!! Lennon was amazing!!! One of the best characters I have ever read about. I have been obsessed with Omegaverse stories lately and this is by far going to be my favorite one. Definitely a must read. Book has everything I needed. Fast burn and action being the main 2 things. But also a phenomenal storyline. Highly recommend reading.

This book! I freaking love Lennon! And her guys😍🥰🙌 AWESOME! Lucy is a one-click author of mine and she never disappoints me. Her writing style is perfect for me and pulls out all my emotions! She not only writes excellent characters but the story line is original and she writes with witty humor that always makes me smile. You need this book in your life. Especially if you're an omegaverse fan!

I really enjoyed this book, it’s not like other omega novels. The main character is a very strong independent woman that is an omega but is completely able to look after herself and is very successful.
But the premise of the story is very different about what happens to the omegas and how they came to be. It’s very interesting and a unique storyline.
I completely recommend this book if you like omega books or just string FMCS you get the best of both worlds 😊

loved it
Lennon is definitely a baddie from the first page on with her sidekick Ares. It’s in these first few pages she meets the men who will stick to her like glue and protect and love her like no other in every sense of the word. The freaking spice in this book, girls stock up on batteries because the knitting in this book is plentiful. I loved Lennons story and the hea had me laughing. You gotta read this book.

And this one was an absolute roller coaster! (please read the TWs!)
Lennon is absolutely amazing and totally kickass. If you're looking for an omega that does NOT bow down to the stereotypes whilst completely accepting who she is, THIS IS HER!
I mean the guys were great too, but she's the BEST
(also, have some tissues at hand...)

This book was so easy to get in to! The story is well thought out, and the DLC is a feisty bad ass, who gives as good as she gets! Her men are all well matched to her, and throw I the bonus of her services dog it's brilliant! Ladies, you need to read this book, you won't regret it!

The mix of Alphas was perfect. I loved the way she wrote them all to fit each others personalities. They worked well together; in allll the ways 😌

Lucy never lets me down.
I love how you can read this separate from the gift and still understands what's happening but if you read the gift also get questions answered.
The chemistry between the harem is perfect and the spice is chefs kiss.
There's nothing I would change about this book it was just perfect!

absolute must read
Do not walk run to this series!! Book one was amazing, book 2 just kicked it up 50 notches. Amazing Omegaverse world building and unique plot. Absolutely kick butt heroines and steamy spicy men. So happy I found this author will be reading all she has to offer now and into the future.
