a very inclusive and comprehensive answer to many of the questions that young people might have about themselves and the world! there's quite an extensive section on sex and relationships, as these topics tend to be more taboo, but the book also covers health, self and society.

i loved the cute and funny illustrations throughout this guide - the ones on the inside cover especially. they were great as they broke up the bigger chunks of info and also helped illustrate (get it !) the author's points.

while i would classify this as young adult, there is a lot of stuff in here that probably isn't appropriate for younger teens - i wouldn't think of this as an ideal gift for a 13 year old or anything like that. that being said, everyone's maturity is different, and i probably could have read this at 13!

Dobry wieczór Kochani 😊 Dzisiaj chciałabym podzielić się z Wami moją opinią na temat książki pt. ,,Pogadajmy o tym" Hazel Mead. Książkę tą otrzymałam od wydawnictwa @wielkalitera w ramach #współpracabarterowa.

,,Pogadajmy o tym" jest to przewodnik po życiu, w którym autorka zawarła wiele interesujących i ciekawych zagadnień. Dotyczących zarówno naszego zdrowie, relacji między ludzkich czy nawet tematu uważanego jeszcze przez niektórych za tabu a mowa tutaj o seksie. Przewodnik podzielony jest na trzy rozdziały: relacja + seks, zdrowie + dobrostan oraz ja + społeczeństwo. W każdym rozdziale bardzo szczegółowo opisane są wszystkie zagadnienia, które mogą nas zainteresować. Bardzo ciekawym zagadnieniem jest między innymi toksyczna bądź przemocowa relacja. To czym się charakteryzuje, jak wyznaczyć granice, jak wygląda sam cykl przemocy a także jak wygląda życie w takim przemocowym związku.

Kolejnym ciekawym zagadnieniem jakim znajdziecie w przwodniku jest jak radzić sobie z żałobą. Jakie emocje nam wtedy towarzyszą, jak sobie z nią radzić.

Także jest tutaj kilka stron poświęconych cytologi. Jak wygląda badanie, jak się przygotować a także jak zinterpretować wyniki.

Muszę Wam powiedzieć że ta książka to naprawdę ogrom cennych informacji jakie każdy z nas powinien wiedzieć. Długo mogłabym jeszcze pisać co w niej znajdziecie jednak ja polecam Wam bardzo serdecznie nabyć tą książkę by móc w każdej chwili do niej zajrzeć i dowiedzieć się wszystkiego na pożądany dla Was temat.
I oczywiście możecie również pooglądać obrazki, których jest cała masa, i które lepiej obrazują omawiany temat. Jak dla mnie duży plus ( uwielbiam obrazki w książkach 😉😊)

This book is a gem. Not only does it answer questions that many of us have probably asked ourselves in or since teenagehood, it is also a wonderful showcase of joyous, beautiful illustrations. Hazel guides us through three different categories of life's wonders in a thoroughly informative, yet interesting way, and offers a view on what should REALLY be taught in schools and beyond - you know, the actually useful topics like life skills and knowledge of our own bodies and minds.
I will be recommending this to many friends and gifting it to all the teenagers in my life.

full of beautiful illustrations (my fave has to be the reimagined klimt), this book is so informative and i wish i had this when i was growing up and felt awkward asking irl. i can see this book being helpful also to grown ups who are looking to learn something new about the modern society and its taboos.

I didn't particularly learn anything knew but it was still insightful and I really like her illustrations all the same!
