Earth Force Boxset: The Complete Series

Rate this book
Alien nano machines grant everyone stats and levels ... while giving rise to a new race of cybernetic horrors. Human civilizations crumbles, a crushed alien ship their only hope.
As a martial arts instructor, Nori has always had a simple purpose in help underprivileged kids build confidence and self-discipline. Now she'll have to do so for everyone else, too.

It all started with a mist, one that gave everyone stats and levels, but also disabled technology and transformed animals and humans into cybernetic horrors that preyed on the living. Within months of its inception, civilization had crumbled.

When Nori and two terrified students find a crushed alien spacecraft, they also find a glimmer of hope. Though damaged and barely functional, the vessel presents mankind with its first chance to retake the world from the unrelenting monsters. Using the new System, a vast universe of possibilities beckons them to restore and upgrade the ship into becoming humanity's new beacon of hope … but only if they can survive the relentless onslaught of mutated beasts.

Shemer has been a fan of Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and RPG games since the early 80’s.
In 2016 he started writing his first novel: Life Reset which turned into a 6-book series with its grand finale published in 2021. Each book in the series became an Amazon bestseller.
In 2019 Shemer quit his day job as a software developer to become a full-time author and released his second series: Earth Force, a sci-fi series consisting of a 2-book arc. Shemer hopes to garner enough community awareness and support to start writing the second arc.
As an avid gamer, a D&D dungeon master, and Navy veteran, Shemer has a wealth of life experience to draw on for his writing. His books always include elements of kingdom/settlement development where the protagonist is forced to carve out a new place for themselves in the face of adversity.

Shemer spends his days writing and his nights fighting crime (well, mostly convincing his kids to go to bed, which is very similar).
Shemer also enjoys writing about himself in the third-person and hopes you find his work enjoyable.

Extremely Fun Ride, Can’t Wait For More In The Relict Legacy Universe

Had a great time with this series so far. This is a great example of good Science Fiction GameLit/LitRPG. Has a lot of detail without notification overload. Nicely done character development beginning to end. Really enjoyed the universe building going on with all the different systems and species. Fun depth to the system and everything too. Hope to see more of the Relict Legacy Universe in the near future.

So I loved this series overall it was very creative and it kept me not only entertained but also interested in what was going to happen next. However, I do have to say there is a point in book one that stayed with me through the entire series as a major annoyance and a huge letdown. The first brood-mother fight was horrible it absolutely made no sense and had me worried about how the rest of the series was going to go. So if you're like me and you get to that point and you doubt if you're going to keep going take it from me and keep reading. I for one am really glad I did. The ending was pretty good I do hope this gets another book I want to find out about the Inquisitor and how the powers grow.

This series begins two months after the apocalypse has struck Earth in the form of a nanite plague that wiped out most life on Earth and let the remaining humans struggling in the remnants of civilization with no working tech and monsters, created by the plague, all around. The story starts with two college students struggling to survive, and a third who comes upon them, discovering a damaged alien ship and figuring out how to fly it. This was a fun and fast Sci-Fi, LitRPG ride with non-stop action. The ensemble cast was well developed and, while dark, I very much enjoyed the universe and all of the different systems and species.

If you enjoy LitRPG, this is a great addition to the genre. Bonus, the complete boxed set is one credit, and is narrated by the awesomeness that is Jeff Hays.

Earth was afraid, but now they are strong

This wasn't interesting story of Earth being infused by nenites. Gaining strength through battle with warped snd aliens and a great fow. I really liked the Nathan character, and Bulco was funny with Unity.

I was somewhat dubious at the start but turned out to be a good series.
