Entertaining mystery listening 🎶🔰

Another will written romantic family and friends relationships adventure thriller short story by Sage Parker Bar 🍸 Harbor book five of six. Maggie starts her own bakery business in renting a store in Bar 🍸 Harbor. James tells her that the jewelry from the safe deposit box 📦 was stolen from a museum 50 years ago. Her store make over is going well when a woman 🚺 walks in. Rebecca Smith her husband's mistress. Continued in book six. I would recommend this series and author to 👍 readers of romantic relationships adventure mystery novels 👍🔰. Enjoy the adventure of reading 👓 or listening 🎶 to Alexa read books 📚. 2023 👒😉😀🌙

Another great installment to the series! Maggie is still searching for answers after her husband is found dead. In time she decides to get on with her life and to start anew. The story moves quickly and smoothly and ends with another cliffhanger. I'm looking forward to the next book.

James has gotten Maggie cleared of several charges against her and now that Maggie has laid Ethan to rest and her family has returned to their lives she decides it is time for her to do what she wants. So with the help of different friends she made along this journey she opens up a bakery in her small town. She and others have worked with the contractors and broken everything down and rebuilt it to her liking and she is just about to open the shop. She is excited and can't wait to get on with her life.
Emily who she met as a homeless girl has been staying with her and lets James know that she is a computer wiz and has broken some rules by finding people she thought were lost. James decides that he can use the help because something about Ethan's death and life at the end just does not ring true. So he makes her and intern and not only does she enjoy living with and spending time with Maggie but she is also becoming invaluable to them.
James is excited and surprised by that Emily is able to pull up on Ethan and so he continues to investigate not letting Maggie know he is doing it.
Maggie is happily putting the finishing touches on the new shop when a woman comes to the door and knocks. Although Maggie does not know who she is she goes to the door to open it only to have the woman introduce herself as Rebecca Smith introduces herself. We now are moving on to book 6 and the ending of all that has been going on in this mystery.
Please remember if you can to buy these books in order and start from book one. It all will make so much more sense and these stories are right now at a great price.

The characters in this book are exceptional, their world is realistic in this page-turner that is enthralling and intriguing. Their journey is enthralling with a small-town romance with big secrets, romantic suspense, a magnificent setting with colorful sunrises and sunsets that are breathtaking, action and adventure, starting over, second chance, mystery, family saga, drama, piecing together the truth, Maggie's' faith in marriage begins to fall apart and she's wondering if she ever really knew her husband at all. With Manning as her only ally, she'll need to confront her past and overcome her biggest fears if there's any hope for a happy ending. I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author who knows how to captivate her reader's hearts and attention with searching the Harbor and a second chance romance.

Maggie decides to put Ethan’s dead behind her and start a new life. She decides to look for employment but without any interest from anyone, decides to open a shop of her own. Emily mentions to James that she has found people who didn’t want to be found and that she could help him if she had access to some police programs. James decides to make her a part-time junior detective and off she goes finding him leads that he wasn't aware of. James is surprised/shocked with the information Emily found. All heck breaks loose when James brings in a suspect and another suspect surrenders. While Maggie is at her shop painting, a stranger appears and gives Maggie the shock of her life. What a great series! Can’t wait for the next book.

So the loving Ethan had a second life unbeknownst to Maggie and their kids! Why does that not surprise me. Rebecca Smith has a lot of explaining to do and she needs to come clean about Ethan. Maggie and her kids need, no, deserve to know the truth about their dad and wether or not he truly is gone. This series has so many unexpected turns. I don't know who is lying and who is being truthful! How much of this mystery involves the creepy Mayor? It is riveting! I can not wait to read the final book so that we can finally all have the answers we're seeking. Hold on tight because knowing Sage, it is going to be a doozy!.

Maggie is still trying to find out what happened to her
husband, Ethan.

James, the detective is working on the case and things do
not add up.

He had arrested Connor, a person of interest. However
when James was called away from the interrogation
room, and he returned, Connor had escaped.

Maggie has purchased a building with the hopes of
renovating it for a bake shop/restaurant.

James and Maggie found a key and discovered it was
for a safety deposit box. They found clues in the
box.

Emily offered to help locate Connor which is found
some info for James. The security tape had been
altered.

Again some answers become - more questions appear.

Where is this all end. Especially since Maggie has found
out that Rebecca Smith is his mistress.

This is the 5th book in the series but even though its close to the end there are still some plot twists.

Maggie has decided to get on with her life and stop looking into her husbands disappearance and subsequent death. But others around her are still investigating and soon she is brought back into the mystery.
Why does the major have such an interest in the case and what happens when the mystery Rebecca turns out to be real when she turns up at Maggie's new store.

I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

James and Maggie find the safe deposit box and remove everything to find a check in there for Rebecca Smith. But who is she and why? Maggie needs to do something besides staying at home and being bored. So, she leases a stop front to start a bakery of her open. She doesn’t have to go to court for her old job, because Ethan sends letters to everyone, and it clears her. But is that the trust and who is the blonde with three kids?.

Ethan's dead and despite following numerous leads, James and Maggie just can't nail anything down. Maggie decides to go back to work and purchases store in town with plans to open a bakery.

the slimy mayor stops by with subtly threatening behavior. One of the local police officers Is discovered to be complicit in parts of the investigation, and then we meet ethan's mistress. Can't wait for the next installment.

Book Five begins with Maggie and James accessing the contents of a bank’s safety deposit box which provides additional clues about Ethan and Rebecca Smith. Maggie begins to prepare for her future after the charges are dropped by Maggie’s former company. Ethan’s former employee appears at a surprising location. The book ends in a surprising cliffhanger.

Wow! I keep forgetting that Maggie's husband is supposed to be dead as I start the next book in this series. So many changes occurring, Maggie and James find the safety deposit box and empty it of its contents. A key to something, older jewelry, a check and a letter. None of it makes sense. What's the mayor have to do with any of it? I can't wait to see where the sixth book takes us!

Detective Manning and Maggie figure out the address of the bank, find the town and go there with the key.

The box contains a check made out to Rebecca Smith and signed by Ethan. When they leave James tells the bank clerk to not let anyone have access and contact him immediately.

Absolutely superb mystery with great characters and lots of clues emerging that link to the murder of Ethan. The big question is how the clues are linked and whether his widow, Maggie, can handle continuing to assist the investigative lead detective while she builds a new life for herself. This well written, action-packed mystery is a must read!

Another great book in the series. I loved it and now we are starting to get a better understanding as to what happened to Ethan although we still have some questions that are still unanswered. I know the next book will be amazing. This has been a great story and the mystery and intrigue will grab you wholeheartedly. So excited for the next book.

This one will keep you on the edge of your seat and wanting more. How much more can Maggie handle. Safe deposit box, check for another woman but why? Why did Ethan come up missing. Now that Ethan is dead an buried, and her legal problems solved, thanks to Ethan. Maggie decides to move on and start fresh in Bar Harbor. She rents a building in hopes of starting a bakery, and isn't sure about proceeding her search into why Ethan has died. Then things start happening that brings her back to James and the search for why Ethan ran and why he died. What other surprises await Maggie in het search for answers?

Getting Near to an answer

How much can one woman take? A life as she knew it has been completely turned inside out. So many questions, some are finally being answered yet, now… some of the hardest to hear are facing Maggie now. Her new bake shop is getting ready.
