I think this is the first book I’ve ever read that featured someone who worked to solve cold cases who wasn’t in law enforcement. It was rather interesting. And a little scary to think about. Gwyn was a stubborn, tough, but hurting woman. I liked watching her unfold and grow. Levi is fun and a gentleman, but can be just a stubborn as Gwyn. I think my local police should have a self-defense class for women. I really liked that Levi struggled with his attraction to Gwyn because she had turned her back on anything Christian. The advice and messages in this book were really good.
This book has more about the ongoing mystery, but things are still not quite solved.
There are some kisses, but nothing descriptive.
I think my biggest problem was that when people got injured it seemed a little too soon for them to be doing some things. Perhaps more time had gone by than I realized. The time passing in these books is also rather confusing to me.
