Did you heard me scream? Because I did for every chapter, sometimes because of Wren, sometimes because of the tension between Emilia and Travis. I still want to punch in the face Wren for everything, mostly for the last part with Kristina.
The story is about a girl who dream to meet his favorite artist but after sometime they start to work together. But, the Travis that she knew was vanish, since he was more drunk that sober. After the propose of Wren, Emilia start to be roommates with Travis so they can finish the album. But did the relation stay like this? FU*KING NO! And I'm glad. After a lot of emotional roller coaster they, mostly she, start to open to each other. But did the story end here? NO! Cause that idiot of Wren, just for some penny, wants to destroy the relationship and goes with Kristina at Travis's concert. BUT DID HE CARE? Oh course no, since he has a goddess at home.
Talking about the character, I was really sceptic about Travis. Until the travel in Panama, I was thinking he was a red flag either that I knew his trauma. But after he confess and try everything to win Emilia I start to understand how he feels. I'm glad that Emilia was describe as a independent woman who try hard for her future and don't run immediately at Travis. I feel bad since beginning for Emilia, because I understand her sacrifices.
The principal theme of the book was very deep since nobody talk about the toxicity that is in music industry. I know a lot of artists who took their life because of this, and I was happy when Travis had the opportunity to go individuality. And, I was sad when Emilia was considered only a woman without power in the industry. Because, unfortunately, it's true.
After reading this book, I'm going definitely going to buy the other two volumes because I want to know more about them. I want to know about Preston, and his egocentrism, about Beckett and his relationship with Marina. And mostly, I want to know about Dante. I'm thankful, to the author, for the description about Panama and the gastronomy because now I want to take a plane and fly to Panama to try everything.

This gave me the same heart racing feeling as if I was back in my boy band fangirl stage living out my celebrity romance dreams. Filled with tension and heart, this one will have you swooning and remembering why you will always love a bad boy.

Estuve mucho tiempo esperando el libro de Travis. Desde el primer libro de la serie su personaje me cautivó (tengo debilidad por los bad boys 🤭), así que muchas gracias a Mayra De Gracia por permitirme leer el arc de su libro.
The boyband disconnection fue uno de los libros más esperados para las fans de esta serie. Es un enemies to lovers donde nuestra protagonista, Emilia, era una fanática de la banda The Jaded Boys y Travis, nuestro bad boy, era su miembro favorito.
Cuando Emilia comienza a trabajar como productora musical asume la ardua y difícil tarea de trabajar en el nuevo disco de Travis. Su relación es un constante choque de cabezas, discuten mucho y, ciertamente, la actitud de Travis no ayuda en nada. Siempre está borracho, llega tarde al estudio y se toma demasiados descansos. Por ese motivo, Emilia se muda a la casa de Travis, y es allí dónde las cosas comienzan a cambiar entre ellos.
Este es mi libro favorito de esta serie hasta el momento, aunque sí me hubiera gustado mucho leer cómo fue la reconciliación entre Preston y Travis. Su antagonismo era extremo y me hubiera encantado leer ese momento.

I've been waiting a long time for Travis' book. Since the first book of the series, his character captivated me (I have a weakness for bad boys 🤭). Many thanks to Mayra De Gracia for allowing me to read the arc of her book.
The boyband disconnection was one of the most anticipated books of this series. It's an enemies to lovers where our protagonist, Emilia, was a fan of the band The Jaded Boys and Travis, our bad boy, was her favorite member.
When Emilia starts working as a music producer, she takes on the arduous and difficult task of working on Travis' new album. Their relationship is a constant butting of heads, they argue a lot, and Travis's attitude certainly doesn't help at all. He's always drunk, arrives late to the studio, and takes too many breaks. For this reason, Emilia moves to Travis's house, and that is where things begin to change between them.
This is my favorite book in this series so far, although I would have really liked to read what the reconciliation between Preston and Travis was like. Their antagonism was extreme and I would have loved to read that moment.

No saben lo que estaba esperando este libro desde que leí el segundo, acabo de confirmar que el universo de los Jaded boys es de mis favoritos.💜
Por dónde empezar, primero por agradecerle a Mayra por enviarme una copia digital del libro, segundo está historia tiene mucho más drama, siento que profundiza mucho en las situaciones de los personajes, desde Travis como individual como lo que sucedió con la banda sin llegar a decir todo por completo.
Emilia es un personaje que definitivamente me hizo sentir identificada, soy hermana mayor y completamente podría ser yo, siento que supo cómo reflejar lo que muchos sienten y eso tiene un plus enorme.
Siento que conforme avanza la saga la autora evoluciona para darnos una historia mejor y avanza la complejidad e incluso el misterio de que rayos sucede con Dante, que ojo siento que hay muchas cosas que nos dicen algo pero al mismo tiempo nada.
Siento que me hubiera gustado un poco más de salseo y un leve de drama, pero por lo demás perfecto, ame que Emilia fuera panameña, ahora me dan más ganas de conocer acerca de su cultura.
El pls extra es que no sé si sea yo o tiene muchas referencias a Taylor Swift ✨

Ella fue mega fan de los Jaded Boys y justamente Travis era su integrante favorito. Trabajar y estar cerca de tu ídolo de adolescencia es como que un sueño hecho realidad, no? Que podría salir mal? Pues eso lo descubrirán leyendo el libro 📖
Me encantaron Travis y Emilia, al inicio si Travis no me caía muy bien, pero conforme avanza el libro pues ves que esa imagen de bad boy es solo eso. Emilia es estupenda, creo que todos alguna vez hemos querido ser ella y hemos soñado con estar cerca a nuestro ídolo. Además como latina la ame mucho más.
Todo esta escrito excelente, cada capítulo con una canción, la parte de los tuits y las notas de los periodistas, donde se ve el lado no tan bonito y tóxico del fandom y la historia, especialmente el viaje a Panamá es hermoso y la mención a lugares, bebidas y comida, es de las cosas que más me gusta y valoro de los libros escritos por latinas.
Ahora necesito ponerme al día con los dos libros anteriores para conocer a Preston y Beckett y esperar los próximos libros para saber de Atticus, George y Dante. Larga vida a los Jaded Boys! 🎶

Travis, one of the members of the Jaded Boys, plans to launch his solo career and that is where Emilia comes into action, since she is the producer of her album. She was a mega fan of the Jaded Boys and Travis was her favorite member. Working and being close to your teenage idol is like a dream come true, right? What could go wrong? Well, you will discover that by reading the book 📖
I loved Travis and Emilia, at the beginning I didn't like Travis very much, but as the book progresses you see that that bad boy image is just that. Emilia is great, I think we have all wanted to be her at some point and dreamed of being close to our idol. Also as a Latina I loved her much more.
Everything is written excellently, each chapter with a song, the part of the tweets and the journalists' notes, where you see the not so pretty and toxic side of the fandom and the story, especially the trip to Panama is beautiful and the mention of places, drinks and food, it is one of the things that I like and value most about books written by Latinas.
Now I need to catch up on the previous two books to meet Preston and Beckett and wait for the next books to meet Atticus, George and Dante. Long live the Jaded Boys!

this book was made for the fangirls who were obsessed with one direction in the 2010s and read fanfiction and watched every interview and music video. i loved seeing a latina mc in this case tho, and seeing her get every fangirls dream to come true
i remember being a teen and reading fanfiction and the female mc’s who got together with the boyband stars where never latinas, never spoke spanish and never looked like me, so this was like a warm hug to my teenage self 🥹
this book was really addicting and also talked about the problems with the music industry and i really liked that!! and i loveeed travis’ character development!!!

When a fangirl meet her Stan omg, the beginning made me thought about all the things I did with my friends in Paris to see the one direction 🤣 this book brought me back to my teenage life, skipping school to see Justin Bieber thank you mom.
I really like the dynamic. The fangirl is now a independant woman working in the music industry and I really like it a lot, she will stand and argue with Travis I can put them in the definition of my favorite tropes:

I give this book a 3.75 to be exact.
I overall thoroughly enjoyed this next book in the Jaded Boys series. I definitely feel that I connected with Emilia out of the three female characters we have been introduced to so far in this series. Her and Travis' banter definitely made me laugh and there were moments where I was fully rooting for them throughout the book. I do think there were moments where the communication could have been different between the two, but that did not deter from the storyline overall. Watching Travis' personal growth throughout this story was definitely the highlight for me. After reading this book, everything about his character and demeanor makes sense and it clears up so many plotlines from the first two books. Overall this book was such an enjoyable read and makes me so excited to read the next books in the series!

Mayra’s books never disappoint! From beginning to end this book captivated me and I could not put it down. The plot, the tension, the romance, everything was perfect! Would highly recommend the entire series.

Me encantaron Travis y Emilia, aunque al principio quería pegarle a Travis, mejoro mucho durante el resto del libro. Emilia es una mami🤭. Espere mucho este libro y valió la pena😌. Ya quiero saber más sobre los otros 3 integrantes de la banda.

This love gained momentum and took time, but it was there from day one, locked in a vault, waiting for the perfect moment to make its grand entrance. I knew it was, and I finally experienced it. For real this time, in the striking way it's supposed to be.
This book made the little fangirl in me swoon and melt into a pile of joy and delusion. I love boyband romances, but this one was so incredibly special because of its portrayal of a multi-cultural romance. Seeing Travis, the angsty bad boy, slowly fall for Emilia and embrace her culture made me so soft. Emilia’s experiences of being a Panamanian immigrant is a breath of fresh air for the fangirl x famous singer trope. Does she make some questionable decisions at the start? Of course. However, she continues to work immensely hard to build the life she wants for her and her family, and you can’t help but root for her the entire time.
In the same vein, I also wanted to strangle Travis because how damn long it took for him to realize Emilia is worth simping for. This book made the little fangirl in me swoon and melt into a pile of joy and delusion. I love boyband romances, but this one was so incredibly special because of its portrayal of a multi-cultural romance. Seeing Travis, the angsty bad boy, slowly fall for Emilia and embrace her culture made me so soft. Emilia’s experiences of being a Panamanian immigrant is a breath of fresh air for the fangirl x famous singer trope. Does she make some questionable decisions at the start? Of course. However, she continues to work immensely hard to build the life she wants for her and her family, and you can’t help but root for her the entire time.
In the same vein, I also wanted to strangle Travis because how damn long it took for him to realize Emilia is worth simping for. Yaaaa… realmente me ha gustado mucho esta serie de libros pero principalmente me gustan por la trama y las protagonistas… pero yo de verdad que he partido este libro con ganas de tirar la kindle con lo insoportable que es Travis al inicio… entiendo que hay que hacer un personaje realista,,, pero de verdad es necesario que sea TAN realista???
Travis es un personaje que desde el primer libro me ha llamado mucho la atención, lo odié en los libros anteriores pero aún así quería saber si sería capaz de evolucionar como personaje y eso sí se dió aquí
Ahora… reina EMILIA… todo su storyline me encantó! que fuera latina y la hermana mayor marcó mucho de su personalidad y le añadia sustento a la historia… y que fuera una fan girl también… onda imaginense un día estar trabajando codo a codo con unos de sus artistas favoritos… y que de ahí además pasen cosas entre ustedes… el sueño de todas las mortales.
Otro aspecto que me encanta de estos libros es que muestra la realidad del lado tóxico que existe en el fanatismo hacia ciertos artistas… esta super bien ser fan y conectar con otras personas por medio de eso… pero todo lo que es el hate es un tema bastante complicado
Recomiendo leer este libro siosi pero creo que si van a leerlo para disfrutarlo tienen que saber que el protagonista masculino es bastante onvre para sus cosas en el inicio.

I originally didn't know what to expect when I read this book yet it took me to a place I didn't expect but loved. The story was well written, I resonated with the characters and understood why they did what they did.
