Cue the tears! I've read Isa's narrative work on her blog for years, but this book goes a step further with a curated collection of essays focused on big dreamers. From Disney animators to professional athletes to top-earning entrepreneurs, this book reminds you that everyone has a story behind their dream. I underlined far more passages and quotes than I predicted, and my very favorite story was a surprise essay about Isa's own mother.
Since I recently had to bury my big dream in the midst of a grieving season, I found so much hope in these pages. While I consider Isa a friend, she earned five stars with this, fair and square. I gobbled it up in two days, and it made me tear up multiple times. If you need a nonfiction read that gives you hope in humanity and makes you feel seen, it's this!

This book is so inspiring, hopeful, heartfelt and heartbreaking. Isa beautifully tells each story with the care it deserves while giving each interviewee the space to tell their stories in their own words as well. Each story is unique and full of moments that make you think, reflect, and emote. I don’t ever annotate books, but I ran through three tabs of sticky notes marking all my favorite moments and thought-provoking lines. So many pages are dogeared and underlined because it’s so full of important messages from people of all walks of life. Truly cannot recommend it enough. Everyone deserves a chance to read The Little Book of Big Dreams.
