This is an great book, if the subject interests you.
Very nice to have.
A beautifull hard back and out sooner than planned I guess as the date was set later in 2024.

A few stories about Savile row and the origens of all houses, bespoke tailoring and the how to make a suit....However....not a pattern challange of made to measure for my expertise.
There might be people wanting to give it a try though.

A glimpse into another world, one of style, sophistication and money to spend.

3 sentence summary: Excellent and interesting history and depiction of the process of making bespoke garments on this prestigeous street. The technical instructions require a very deep understanding of garment-making and the associated lingo to be understood (I sew a bit and a lot of it went over my head). All in all, the book is informative and enlightening and gives you an understanding of what level of mastery it requires to make these bespoke garments.

I skipped the very detailed instructions on how to sew a suit (I can't sew to save my life) but the history was interesting.
