This is the actual first book of the Charles Lenox series, though we have read the three prequels that have been written recently.

Very complex mystery, I had no clue how to solve it, but every little clue given during the reading panned out and it was all pretty well tied up with a bow. One little theft is still out there, so it may be taken care of in the next book.

Charles, Lady Jane, Graham, and Edmund are the main characters and all are very important and fun to read about. Great characters, I look forward to more adventures.

After reading the prequel to this series, I decided to go back and read the series itself. I really enjoy these books. I like the characters and enjoy the author’s descriptions of the setting in old England. If you enjoy Agatha Christie, you will definitely enjoy these.
