Before It Began
In After It's Over, the world as we know it came to an end. The supply chain crashed and when people couldn't get access to basic things like food and gas, everything turned to a darker place.
Out of the ashes of civilization, survivors began to rebuild. Reece Daniels and Al Martin worked with others in their community to start to care for one another and do more than just survive.
But what if something could be done to bring it all back? To undo the damage and even give those who perished a chance to live again. In Book Two, we'll join Reece and Al as they travel across the desert and beyond in order to travel back to Before It Began.

4.5 Dystopian + Time Travel and it’s a book two? LOVED IT. The main characters and the overall journey was such a nice read and very original! This was such a great read and I will definitely be recommending!

Exciting read. I enjoyed the first book a lot and this second one was an excellent continuation of the story. The story itself is an incredibly unique take on time travel. It’s unlike any other time travel stories I’ve read before, and I’ve read a few. For some, the closeness to the real life situation we all experienced in 2020 and beyond might be difficult but for me it grounded a very science fiction theme into reality. The characters were well written and I enjoyed Reece and Big Al’s development throughout the story. The adventure these two go on to save humanity is pretty exciting and I think most people would enjoy the experience. I have had a great time on this journey and recommend this book (and the first one too) to readers who enjoy time travel, suspense, dystopian and end of the world stories. I really appreciate having the chance to read an ARC copy and I hope others will give this series a try!

This is excellent! I did really enjoy the second part to this sci fi, time travel, dystopian series! Hard to describe the genre as it is a real mix! Great ideas, I really loved this story! I loved the main characters & the overall feel & adventure of the book! Not wanting to give to much away, but there was a real surprise for me before the end! Brilliant! I do recommend!

Post apocalyptic
Really well described post apocalyptic worls, I loved it! Very realistic struggles from the characters, you can see how their personalities develop. Many twists.

I was excited to read the follow up to “After it’s over” and it didn’t disappoint. Given the opportunity to change the course of history, Reece and Al risk their future in the hope the world will be better. Hunter Chadwick brings through well their differences in personalities, to how well they handle the pressure and tasks they need to do. It is a great concept and makes you think what is possible. I would recommend this book, I really enjoyed reading it.

I absolutely LOVED reading Before It Began, the follow-up to After It's Over. After It's Over is a fictional (thank goodness!) book about how the world went downhill after the pandemic shutdowns. (What happened COULD still conceivably happen :( ) In this book, Before It Began, there is a chance to redeem things...to prevent the horrible things that happened. How? You've got to read the book to find out. It is definitely a fantastic read!
