Again-don't let the 3-star turn you off, I'm simply being a lot more picky w/ my giving of stars. At this point, 3-stars means it's worth a read.
I appreciate the author's willingness to be frank about how doubt can creep into our thinking and if we aren't proactive-it can cause more harm than good. Sadly, I believe that many people are afraid to admit that they have doubts out loud for fear of the response they will get from others-especially those in the church. This can be incredibly detrimental to our walk with the LORD-not to mention, it gives Satan a door of opportunity.
The information presented in the book covers a wide-range of "common" arguments a person may encounter as they search for the truth. The author did a nice job of briefly covering the topics without getting too far into the weeds and gave a variety of sources from which she had searched for further information. It is often difficult to consider an argument from another person's point of view; however, as we try to stand for truth...this is a skill we all need to improve upon.

A cursory glance at Biblical evidences, this book is short, sweet, and good if you don’t know where to start. Whole books have been written on subjects that the author covers in just a few pages, but it succinctly gets to the point, while making a great jumping off point to explore the topics that interest you in greater detail. I would highly recommend this for teens in the church.

This book is what it claims to be - a simplified investigation. I think it would have served me better reading it as a high school student as an intro to evidences. The book lays a basic foundation for lots of further study.

A great summary of Christian evidences! Seeks to answer a lot of common (and important) questions about Jesus and the Bible and has a lot of good references.
