Love and Bonds #2

Love and Magic

Rate this book
I’m definitely not in Baltimore anymore.

Swept up in a magical tornado by an evil wizard, I land in the dark fae realm far from home. I’ve got my trusty ice magic, but none of that helps me get out of a realm that wants to enslave and kill humans.
Now I’m forced to rely on three hot but seriously dangerous fae in a terrifying world.

I’ve had to fight all my life. In foster homes. In school. In the military. I finally made something of myself and became a bakery owner. Then I put it all at risk, gaining the eye of an evil mage sect bent on taking over my coven.
Now I’m banished and fighting for my life with strangers whose motives are far from wholesome but who have awakened desires in me I can’t control.
There’s the cold, alpha captain, Yosef.
His twisted, blood-drinking lieutenant, Xander.
Finally, the brutal dragon with a heart, Luca.
Thrust in the middle of a fae civil war, I also fight to find the green-haired wizard who sent me here while dodging the attention of the human-hating fae court.
Will I be trapped forever in another realm, or will I escape, leaving these fae behind?

Love and Magic is a very loose retelling of The Wizard of Oz. It’s the sequel to Love and Bonds but can be read as a stand alone.

Content Violence, Smexy time, Kidnapping, Dub con, Attempted assault (not by the MMC), Discussion of past abuse.

That cover 👀😍

While this was a standalone book, I do think it would have been better to start from book 1, there was more world building. We are kinda thrust into this world with no warning or background, which isn’t necessarily bad since it’s a creative and unique world to be in.

I liked Lila (FMC). She was strong, funny, and a total boss while also being vulnerable which is so hard to do but Liz Cooper writes her well. The men in the harem were a smidge underwhelming and I think that’s because some blurred together and/or got overshadowed by one another.

Everything else- the plot, dialogue, writing- was great and I’m looking forward to book 3. I will have to read Book 1 because that one seems like a fun time.

A Whole New World

I am so glad Lila got her own story. We met Lila is Billie's story Love and Bonds and she was a true Ride or Die Friend and was instrumental in Billie's mates saving her when she was kidnapped by demons.

Once again Lila proves how bada$$ she is but instead of helping to save her BFF, she is trying to save herself.

Lila's magic has drawn the attention of those who with nefarious intent and she's not having it. As a result an evil wizard has transported her to the Fae realm. What was meant for bad turned out for good...... eventually.

Lila has always felt like a 6th wheel while hanging with Billie and her 4 mates although they all saw her as their lil sister. Lila never imagined on her journey to another realm she would find mates of her own. Even if they started out a little rocky at first.

Lila just wants to go back home but Yosef, Xander and Luca can't let that happen. They finally found their mate and they refuse to let her go no matter how much she refuses to accept the inevitable.

What started out as an Enemies-to-Lovers tale slowly transitioned to one of spicy passion and powerful mate bonds. Lila shows everyone in the Fae realm want she was made of and helped with the upcoming war between the Fae.

If you're looking for a spicy, funny, magical, Enemies-to-Lovers romance with Wizard of Oz vibes this is definitely the story for you.

DNF not for me

I tried with this one but just couldn't wrap my head around it. Was it necessary for the heroine to keep saying she wanted to go home on every other page?? If that isn't one way of making the heroine unlikable then how about her being manipulative.

Personally I think they should have just let her run around faeire and see just how hard the humans there had it. How could the history of one of the MMCs watching their mother murdered and then being abused compare to foster care? Especially where the heroine basically spent her life with her best friend, how is that even remotely the same thing?? Then to use his story as a way into smut just so she could control him. But play if off as not wanting to show pity?

I would have taken her back to that forest and left her there.

Fighting for what

This was pretty underwhelming. Im not sure what attachment the author has to making mountains out of molehills but it seems to be a reoccurring theme in this series. Maybe I misread something in the beginning but I was pretty sure the FMC was pretty unhappy in her life so I couldn’t even wrap my mind around why she was insistent on going back to it. That aside there was so much more that could have been done with the conflict between the good and bad guys that would have been vastly more entertaining than spending 40% of the book upset and supposedly having smex just to kill time. Now everything from about 68%-85% I enjoyed but it took me almost 3 days to read this because I just didn’t feel any really connections. I’m sort of majorly disappointed and I really wish Lila would have been an omega but oh well.

Love & Magic is the 2nd book in The Love & Bonds series. Its Ice Mage - Lila's book and if you've read Love & Bonds (the first book in this series and her friends Billie's book) then you've briefly met her in that book.

I hadn't realised when i started reading this book that it was based on The Wizard of Oz but i really like that clever twist to it. Lila (FMC) is lacking in any close relationships in her life expect with Billie (who is now caught up in her own mates) but when she attracts the wrong kind of attention it lands her in a new world. A world where she stands out by being different to everyone else but falls into the hands of Xander, Yosef and Luca. All sorts of naughtiness starts between all of them. It was a great dynamic between all of them and i couldn't help but like Zander even if he was crazy and bloodthirsty as hell. I really enjoyed reading this book. Its a great read

This is a standalone book in an interrelated series. It can be read by itself, but reading the 1st standalone in the series helps flesh out the world and the evil mage group.

I was thrilled when Lila got her own book. She is a strong, but flawed character who is dumped into a situation not of her choosing. Each of the men who become hers are unique within the story. There is great chemistry and a high level of steam.

If you enjoy paranormal Omegaverse then you will enjoy this book.

okay

I thought this book was okay. A very loose play on on The Wizard of Oz. The author had to do a lot of breaking down and comparisons at the end for me to even remotely relate to the retelling. I personally didn’t feel the chemistry between the MCs. I loved Luca the most. Xander never “broke her” and put her back together. I expected to read that.

It was odd to believe she survived falling from the sky. What designation is Xander? Or were we to assume everyone is a beta unless otherwise stated. I thought the whole point of designations is that omegas can take alphas knots. In this story, so can betas.

Some misspelled words. Some of the terms weren’t consistent. For instance, a vehicle was sometimes referenced as a transport and other times as a car.

Liz Cooper's Love and Bonds series is back with the second book, Love and Magic. This book centers on Lila a beta ice mage and the previous mfc bff. While the first book was urban fantasy, Liz goes full fantasy in this one but with vague hints of the Wizard of Oz and it was great.

I really enjoyed getting to know Lila better. I got a hint of her personality in the first book but got the full picture now. Lila is strong, confident, and fun, she has more of an out loud personality. She's also extremely stubborn, smart, tactical, flirty, brave, sassy, and so much more. However, the one thing that bugged me about Lila was her stubbornness about the fact that she was stuck in the fae realm. I understood to a certain point then her actions were opposite of her thoughts and obvious feelings and she was just being either obtuse or stubborn. Other than that I enjoyed Lila's personality, she was the type that returned the energy you gave back to you.

The guys fall first. Lila has three men in her harem, Yosef, Xander, and Luca, all soldiers in the fae army. Yosef is a high-ranking officer and has boss man written all over him. The man is all alpha and at the beginning rude as Hell. He really shot himself in the foot for a good portion of this book but then he went all alpha (yes, he is an alpha) and things get steamy. There's a crazy one in every bunch. Xander is totally insane, I'm not even exaggerating. The fae has a traumatic past which has formed his unstable personality. He's crazy violent but also incredibly loyal, his softer side really comes out when he's with Lila. Luca is the last to join and it happens later in the book but there is enough with him for me to know I love the big sexy teddy bear. That man has game like you wouldn't believe but he also has a giant heart. These men would do anything for Lila, they had me swooning, I can't believe Lila held out for so long.

Liz put a little bit of a unique spin on the fae world. The story takes place in the fae world and while it does have that old-school feel with cute buildings and uniquely fae aspects there were also hover-cars and who knows what else. The description of the world was unique but no less lush. Then there are the fae themselves they are all fae but classified differently. Dragons are fae, they have vampire fae (yes, there is blood play), and more than add in the ABO designations, bonds, and magic and things are wonderfully complex.

Love and Magic was a marvelous read, the steam was good, the devoted guys even better but it also had a great plot. The fighting between the Unseelie and a rogue group of fae ties into the story perfectly and a lot of things get explained. There's a villainess wizard, a few acts of fate, surprise revelations, and one epic battle scene made this book. The next book in the series will go back to focusing on Billie in Love and Battle.

Lila is minding her own business (literally & figuratively!) when she catches the eye of a strange dark wizard and gets banished to the Fae realm. Unfortunately for Lila, the Fae court hates humans. They’re also in the middle of a civil war, rendering her absolutely stuck there and having to remain hidden to avoid being taken and used for her powers, outright killed on sight, or worse.

Luckily, she is found by a Captain of the Fae Guard – Yosef, and his lieutenant, Xander. They’re immediately drawn to Lila and want to keep her, despite the rules requiring them to turn over any trespassers to the realm and their initial mistrust of Lila and her sudden appearance in their realm during a Cold War-situation.

For her part, Lila is also drawn to the men, which both excites and frustrates her. Lila’s focus is on returning home, despite the significant attraction she feels to the guys. Lila’s had to fight for everything she has, and what she does have is hard-earned and well-appreciated. She’s got a bakery business to attend to, a coven to look out for, and a best friend she misses (whose story is told in book 1. I haven’t read that one – yet – but I didn’t feel lost at any point during Lila’s story. However, I was intrigued and am going back to read Billie’s story!), so staying in the Fae realm is not on her bingo card!

Lila can hold her own in a verbal, physical, or magical altercation. She isn’t willing to give up on her dreams and aspirations, despite her attraction to and growing feelings for the men. I appreciated that, although there were times when I was frustrated with her for wanting to leave them!

I really liked the world-building in the story. The characters are well-formed & established and each have their own personalities and motivations for their behavior and actions. There’s instant attraction between Lila and the guys, and plenty of spice in their relationships, even when they’re at odds with one another. In one part, we learn that Josef has a very interesting alpha magical ability that Lily was the lucky beneficiary of – no spoilers, but it’s one I’d never read about in any other story and thought it was unique.

Their story does end on a HEA (HFN?) for Lily & her guys, but the author notes that book 3 will revisit Billie & her pack, so I’m really looking forward to reading book 1 and then looking forward to the continuation of their stories!

Ever since I was a kid I really enjoyed the idea that there are other worlds out there. That you can stumble through a closet and land in Narnia. That you can fall into rabbit hole and end up in Wonderland. That you can be swept away by a Tornado and end up in Oz. I was therefore really curious when I saw that this book was a very loose retelling of the Wizard of Oz and I was very happy that I got an arc of the book.

I have not read the first book in the series, but apart from the fact that the explanation of the world building went incredibly fast in the beginning I had absolutely no trouble following. I guess that's mostly because a big part of this story takes place in this other world, away from the friend who was the heroine in the first book, away from everything that had happened in the previous book. I guess it's also because everything that could be a loose end was explained and introduced quite well.

Like already stated this book is a very loose retelling of the Wizard of Oz. Which is actually proven when the author is, just to be sure, explaining which character represents who at a certain point in the book. However, despite the fact that it was only a very loose retelling I quite loved that a lot of individual elements were very recognizable and of course the book shared the same theme: What makes a home a home and why do we want to go home so badly?

I have to admit that I had some issues really connecting with the guys. I think I've developed a very strong preference for the men having their own point of view chapters. I think the romance developed a little quick and I wish we had seen the characters bonding on a more emotional level more. However, I did really love the heroine of the story and watching her learn and grow. She's strong and knows how to fight, but she also makes mistakes and learns from them.

I might one day pick up the first book in the series to see what I've missed. Especially because it seems we need to have read the first one to enjoy the third book in the series!

Love and Magic: A Reverse Harem Omegaverse Paranormal Romance, the second in the Love and Bonds Series by Liz E. Cooper was an enjoyable and magical immersion into the world of a new omegaverse with a hint of fairytale retelling and I am there for that combo!!! And the fact Lila, whom we met previously in the first Love and Bonds story as Billies BFF, gets her own story is just utter perfection! Cooper never ceases to amaze me with her ability to create an amazing new world with fabulously well developed characters and an intriguing plot.

This is the story of Lila, a stubborn, independent (and slightly aggravating at times) omega witch that’s had to fight hard for everything in her life, who suddenly finds herself swept away to a new magical dark realm as “punishment”—and dropped right into the middle of a fae civil war in a land that of course hates humans. Fun right? But at least while she’s there she gets to set her sights, and attention, on some sexy fae men!

Yosef, Xander and my dear sweet Luca find themselves drawn to Lila and her to them—even though the odds are not in their favor in a world split by war and race. And while Lila originally just wants to return home, the longer she’s trapped there, and the longer she’s around these men, the leas she wants to return—but return she will regardless of any attraction she may feel for them because she refuses to sacrifice her previous life just for them. So where could that possibility leave them?

Overall if unique omegaeverse romances with a fairytale theme are your thing—grab this one now! Especially if you love sexy dark fae alpha males with some delicious magical abilities. ;)

Love and Magic by Liz Cooper is a fast-paced paranormal reverse harem romance. It is the second book in an interconnected series but can be read as a standalone.
We meet Lila in the first book of the series featuring Billie and her mates. Lila is a kick@ss ice mage that is fierce, talented, and independent. I really loved her character in the first book so I was excited that she was getting her own story! Lila is thrust into the fae realm and finds herself captured by Captain Yosef and Xander. They are fascinated by her and definitely want to keep her for themselves instead of following orders to turn her over to the fae court.

Lila isn’t a shy virgin. She isn’t ashamed of chasing pleasure and it doesn’t take long for her to fall into bed with Xander. After all, he is really insistent (and hot)! So why not? I loved that she embraced her sexuality and allowed herself to have fun. She remains positive that she can return home soon, but it’s clear that won’t happen with the ongoing fae war. Lila also meets Luca, and now… she has 3 men in her life to have fun with! ;)

I will say that I had a difficult time connecting with the characters in this story. It felt surface level. It was written really well and I enjoyed the storyline, romance, steam, etc. but I would have loved to have felt more of a connection with the group. Overall this was a really fabulous installment and I look forward to hearing more about Lila (and Billie) in future books!

This is the second book in this series but no need to worry if you haven’t read the first! This can be read as a stand-alone. Liz E. Cooper has spun The Wizard of Oz into a story of her own. If you love reverse harem, you’ll love this book! Although there were some parts where I wondered if there was more to the story than sex, the fight scene towards the end was EPIC!! It played out as smoothly as if what I was reading was actually playing on a tv screen. There were even quite a bit of comedic scenes included that made me literally laugh out loud.

Lila is banished from her human realm to the fae realm by a strange wizard for unknown reasons with no way back. She’s taken in by two incredibly delicious looking faes, Yosef and Xander, while she struggles to find a way back home. Lila soon learns about the civil war that’s happening within the fae realm which ultimately means she won’t be returning home any time soon…but a girl can have fun, right? The sexual tension between Lila and these two guys is irresistible but just as she’s starting to get comfortable within her new environment, she’s kidnapped and thrown in jail by the opposing military. One of whom, takes her for himself. As days pass, she finds that her kidnapper is actually a gentle giant that has connections and may be able to help her get back to Yosef and Xander or better yet, back to her human realm.

"Love and Magic" is the second book in the "Love and Bonds" series but can be read as a standalone. For me this was the first book I've read by this author, and I was never bothered to have missed the first book, so it's perfectly possible to jump in here.

My absolute favorite person in "Love and Magic" is, without a single doubt, Xander. I always fall for the psycho guys, and his meet-up with Lila was enough to make me fall head over heels. Xander has that perfect mix of lovable craziness, and his connection to Lila is bloody awesome. Although Luca hit a soft spot with me as well, but mostly because of his gentle giant persona. I enjoyed the interactions between all these characters, and discovering more of the world they are living in.

The only thing that bothered me a little while reading, was how reluctant Lila remained to return to her previous life, although her love for the new men in her life kept on growing. Even though I could understand it on some level, there were still times where I wanted to scream at her to just see the possibilities in front of her! But despite that, this was a very enjoyable standalone.

3.5/4 stars

This is the second book from the Love and Bonds series, and although it is standalone, I would suggest reading book 1 first as it helps further explain the world-building.

Lila owns her own bakery and is best friends with BIllie, who found her guys in book 1 - so is feeling a little like a 3rd wheel. When she refuses to help a dark mage in the dark/light magic war, she finds herself sent to the Fae realm where they do not tolerate humans, so she must hide until she can find a way home. ( A little nod to Wizard of Oz)

Now, I really liked Lila, as she was independent, stood up for herself, and was able to fight the bad guys on her own - but I got rather annoyed with her constant pestering and requests to be sent home. It was just mentioned far, far too many times for me.

Unlike book one, we do not have an omega in the harem. The story does not hinge on the omegaverse hierarchy, but we do have an alpha and betas, but the plot is all about the magic war.

This is longer than I thought it would be but it is steamy and Lila doesn't resist her three guys for long, but there is a good plot with lots of action.

Love and Magic is the second book in the Love and Bonds series, the author classes it as a standalone but as there are characters from the first book in this one, it's sometimes a good idea to make sure you have read both. The books have the loose theme of omega verse entwined within them but I wouldn't wholly class it as an omega verse book.

Lily is starting to feel like a third wheel when it comes to her best friend Billie and her mates (the characters from book one), but after a night out drinking she comes face to face with a dark mage who doesn't want to take no as an answer and sends her off to another world with no way back. The fae world is so different to Earth, and humans are not exactly looked kindly upon.

Lila is brilliant as an FMC, she's sassy, kick-butt and very independent even without her powers. She does ask when she can go home a lot though which I found a little annoying but on a whole a loved the character. It's steamy and hot as sin and a really enjoyable read.

Scary and Sexy and Charming

‘I prided myself on maintaining control. I wasn’t driven by a need to have an omega or let my baser needs rule my actions. However, this woman, a beta human, had gotten under my skin, and I wanted her all, mind and body. She was strong, a fighter just like us, and intelligent in ways I had not originally guessed. She matched me. Matched Xander. Tamed him better than I ever could. I would not take such chemistry for granted. She wasn’t an omega, but she felt right. Natural.’

Liz Cooper creates a paranormal world where a strong female character rocks the world of three inhuman men! Standing on her own, pushing boundaries, and choosing the life she wants for herself, Lila finds herself stranded in a the Fae world with evil searching for her. As an Ice Witch with powerful strength, it is hard to determine who she can trust. But as she meets psychopath Xander, leader Yosef, and beta Luca, her power of reasoning skyrockets with her pleasure seeking hormones. Is it lust? Or could it be love!

Lila’s story is really great ! We met her first in the first book of the series ( the books are standalones, but interconnected ) that was Billie’s story. They are best friends and very close, even Billie's mates consider Lila to be like a little sister. After a dinner with Billie and her mates, Lila is attacked and promptly transported by a magical tornado to the fae realm. Things start off very rocky for her. Humans, magical or not, are not welcome in this particular sector of the fae realm and when she is found by Xander, who is very clearly slightly unhinged and Yosef a high ranking military alpha fae, things get even more complex for her. This is just the start to a very entertaining enemies to lovers rh that was really fun to read. I enjoyed getting to know all these characters, the world building was really well done, lots of detail and well explained, making the story flow well. This book has a little bit of everything that I enjoy from drama and suspense, steam , action and romance, it was all bundled up in a very enjoyable read!

Lila is an Ice Mage who we met in the first book as Billie's best friend. This book can be read independently though as even though Billie and her men do have a cameo appearance in this book they aren't featured heavily.
Lila is attacked by a wizard and is forced to defend herself when she is swept up by a tornado and deposited in the fae realm where humans aren't exactly welcome. She is found by Yosef and Xander who for reasons they can't understand are unwilling to hand her over to the royal court.
I was a bit unsure how Luca would fit into the dynamic that Lila had with Yosef and Xander as he didnt come in till later in the book although he was mentioned but he fit in perfectly and it didnt upset things at all. It does mention in the blurb that this is very loosely based on The Wizard of Oz and I did see that come through although the author does work in an explanation towards the end and there were things there that I didn't pick up on, it was worked in so well but very subtle.
Engrossing storyline and engaging characters make this a great 5 star read

Second book in series but can be read as a stand alone. Don’t you hate being the third wheel? Or the 6th in Lila’s case. 🙄. Her BFF Billie has a group of gorgeous alphas that accept Lila as a sister and include her in almost everything. Almost. Lila is smart. She has looks, magic, a thriving business and a great family in Billie. The only thing missing is, what? Love? Lust? Jealousy over Billies life seeps into Lila’s brain on occasion but not in a hurtful way. (We have all been there in one way or another) A war has been going on for some time between light and dark magic; probably been going since the dawn of magic, Lila refuses to help the dark, and as retaliation, she is thrust into the Fae realm where she will have to use all her skills just to find her way back home. Sometimes you have to get swept away to find who you are meant to be with.

Being able to see past a person’s facade to truly understand them is the key.

Steamy sexy times throughout. Mature readers.

4.5 stars!

“I’m not big on the idea of being under an alpha. But darling, to save your life, I would do whatever it takes. So you never have to worry. You’re my heart now.”

This book was so good! It’s a standalone story, loved all of the guys but Xander was definitely my favourite!
The story follows Lila who gets home from dinner with her friend only to be caught in a fight with a wizard who banishes her to the fae realm. Unfortunately the fae do not allow humans to escape when they get their but luckily she is save by Yosef and Xander. But unfortunately they are in the middle of a war. Lila feels drawn to both of them and they her.
Then she gets kidnapped but saved by someone she’s drawn to. She finds out who this is and they manage to escape. I don’t want to say much anymore or I will spoil things!! But I will say it ends on a HEA!

Great mix of paranormal, fantasy, steam and a dash of Wizard of Oz feels!! Lila is our FMC. She's a tough and independent ice mage. She's ex-military and now owns an ice cream shop. She also does her part in the magical community by protecting innocents from violent rogues. Basically, she's a baddie! Even when she's whisked away to a strange world, she's relentless in trying to get back home. She's no damsel in distress and I love her! Then there are her guys- Yosef (gives all the Dom vibes), Xander (gives all the psycho/cinnamon roll vibes) and Luca (gives all the possessive vibes). Each one of them is so different from each other, but all are smitten with Lila. This story was non stop from beginning to end. You feel all of the emotions! I loved this story and want more from this world and these characters!!

Love And Magic by Liv E Cooper is a fantastic Wizard of Oz retelling.  When a witch gets sucked into a cyclone portal by a dark mage, she finds herself in the Unseelie Court in the middle of a war with no way home. The men that discover her decide to keep her safe.  However, when emotions come into play, the likelihood of returning home decreases. When the time comes, will she even want to leave?

The world-building was phenomenal. The human and fae worlds are described in detail, with their magic and an array of supernatural creatures.  I gave Love and Magic 5 out of 5 stars.  It's an exciting story with non-stop betrayal and danger.  In addition to the action, there is lots of spice.  If you like retellings with lots of action and smexy time with multiple mates, this paranormal reverse harem will have you binge it in a day!

The next installment in the Love and Bonds series follows Lila. Lila is Billie’s BBF from book one in the series. Love that she is getting her own story. Lila is strong, independent, and annoyingly stubborn at times. She has fought for everything she has and has done well having her own bakery. Lila world is turned upside down when she is banished to the Fae realm without a way home by an evil wizard. She meets Luca, Xander, and Yosef and their connection is spicy. They refuse to let her go even though she is doing everything she can to find her way home. With the Fae court hating humans and a civil war going on for Lila survival in hiding is key. The world building in this book is fantastic with a Wizard of Oz twist. The action, twists and turns, laugh out loud moments, and crazy ride will have you hooked till the end. Ready for book three in the series.

A total, un-put-down-able book!! Lila is a strong, fierce FMC who doesn’t need anyone and watching her guys crack her shell and push her into a HEA, especially combined with the HOT!!!!! Steam and action that had me glued to every page, this book just takes you to a whole other reading level!! We get a mixture of supernaturals here, which made things very interesting as each opponent met could have a variety of powers. If you enjoy fantasy, paranormal, omegaverse (although this isn’t really an omega story, I definitely feel like omegaverse lovers who want more kick in their omega would enjoy it), or just want to read some naughty scenes that will blow your senses away - this is the book for you!

I jumped at the chance to read a fae based Wizard of Oz retelling.

And maaaaan this author did NOT disappoint!

I found myself hating Yosef and Xander at first; Yosef because he's a total closed off jerk and Xander because he's a psychopath.

Then we got to see how Yosef treats Zelda, his maid, and I realized that maybe the grumpy alphahole wasn't quite so bad. Still think Xander is nuttier than a pecan pie, but it is what it is lol.

Then comes Luca. The MIA undercover third member of Yosef's team. The moment he took Lila and saved her, I wanted a Luca of my own.

This book is fantastic and has everything I love; angst, insta-lust, enemies-to-lovers, shifters, omegaverse, and a whychoose dynamic.

I have been SO excited waiting for this next Love and Bonds book from Liz. This author continues to blow me away with books. Can be read as a standalone, however there is cross over characters from book 1. The FMC gets kidnapped and thrown into the unseelie fae realm and is desperately seeking a way to get home. She meets some fine men and the attraction is just so undeniable. When she gets accidentally claimed, things start becoming increasingly difficult for her to go home. Between that and other plot twists along the way, will she be able to go home AND keep the men that are now hers?
So much good plot and yummy spice. This is another amazing read by this author. I can’t wait to read more from her!

What a fun retelling of The Wizard of Oz!!!! I love this series. While it is a standalone I highly recommend reading book 1 first. It is such a good book and will give you back ground info on the world and some of the characters. But it isn't necessarily!!! This book is smooth read. I had no trouble in reading right through it in one setting. It was so good. Fast paced with lots and lots of steam!! Wow Lila is a strong female leasing character that dosent need help saving herself. When she gets swept up in a tornado to another world she meets 2 men who are sooo hot!!! The book is mostly about Lila trying to find her way home!!! There is a lot of action. I can not wait to see if there is more coming from this world!!!
