While 'The Project' strays from what her conventional material, it's also a beautifully heartwarming short detailing the power of memory and, yes, that hokey thing called love. Nantus does this in a way that mixes elements of the past with the forever promise of technology without rubbing our faces in either. I cried. That's pretty high praise.
