Born and bred in Sydney Australia, Kat T. Masen is a mother to four crazy boys and wife to one sane husband. Growing up in a generation where social media and fancy gadgets didn’t exist, she enjoyed reading from an early age and found herself immersed in these stories. After meeting friends on twitter who loved to read as much as she did, her passion to write began and the friendships continued on despite the distance. “I’m known to be crazy and humorous. Show me the most random picture of a dog in a wig and I’ll be laughing for days.”
I hate that the author divorced Alexa and Hunter so she could be with Beau, and then made it pretty clear Hunter and April are getting together at the end of the book. I honestly thought this was a terrible ending. I was hoping Beau and April would end up falling for each other. I did not like this book at all, especially when she ended the last book with Hunter and Alexa so happy together.😒😔😔

Extremely DISAPPOINTED with the book, mostly with the ending. After everything Alexa and Hunter went through (and 2 book) they deserved a happily-ever-after 💔 Hunter deserved better …. So after everything ending their story in half a book didn’t sit well with me. This was supposed to be Beau and April’s story, but as the story progresses April became like a sidekick, instead of a main character, so it seemed unnecessary the first part of the book and the pregnancy loss (subject that wasn’t properly addressed, just in passing) Not looking forward to Hunter and April’s story/book, it felt like a hasty/bad decision in order to write another book The only thing I LOVED was Eric and Tristan “story” and the Edwards Family

Terrible! Seems the author wanted to pleased the crowds that hated the previous one. I love the Edward’s family series but the craving series felt short. It’s an erratic mess twisting in different directions, I love Hunter but I love Beau, blah blah and don’t get me started with adding April to the mess. I stopped reading and skipping pages from chapter 4.
An 18 year old who writes fan fiction on Wattpad, their second language is English, and going through a midlife crisis can write a better storyline than this bs.
I read this third novel in the trilogy because I wanted to finish the series. I've read several other novels by Mason involving this family. The novels are becoming less entertaining and so repetitive. (It seems as if there is always a surprise pregnancy in the story line.)This novel has one HUGE plot failure. Alexa is soooo tired and has no relief from her maternal responsibilities. Her husband is a billionaire, and, as a supposedly smart couple, they don't seem to have figured out that they can someone to help care for their 2-year old.
(As an aside, there also seems to be plot gaps in the preceding two novels. For example, how does Alexa become enrolled in NYU without applying; how is she in 'studying' medicine when she doesn't have an undergraduate degree? BTW ...enrollment is repeatedly misspelled in the second novel. Does anyone proofread? Spellcheck?)
Finally, I think this author abuses her readers. The first two novels in this series should have been one novel.

Ugh… I Can’t express how much of wrong this whole book is I’m sorry but Kat you did hunter wrong sooooo wrong Sure he’s cold and standoffish but your triangle love - ugh. Random hookup ugh Marriage and divorce this whole story i can see is the middle between 1/2 - 4/5/6 but my god This was a train wreck I have 0 respect for Alexa and honestly If she was my friend I’d be losing respect for this girl so damn quick. I forced myself to finish the book and worse I think I’m going to force myself to finish 4/5/6 when they arrive Kinda wishing I didn’t buy these books 🤷🏻♀️
Although I did enjoy the book I agree with previous comments- this book should of been a beau and April book. Hunter gave up is contract for love, clearly Alexa is a dik tease. I really like Hunter and felt sorry for him as he tried to do the right thing while Alexa gave up because she is a tease. Here’s hoping Hunter gets his happiness.

I love Kat T Masen and her writing. I can’t express how much I’ve enjoyed all the books that have lead to this book. I truly wasn’t expecting this story to have this final twist 😳.
As much as I looked forward to Beau finding someone worthy of him, April was it! Maybe not in the beginning when she was first introduced in the previous books but Craving Her did a great job introducing a little back story of her the first few chapters. This story had the potential to be a good second chance in love for Beau, but instead ruin a couple in order to give us what we originally wanted in book two. April got cheated out of a happy ending and basically became a secondary character in her own book! If the author plan was to go for a wow factor and try and keep us on our toes this was it but not executed correctly. Will I read any other book in this series ?… it’s hard not to since I’ve been invested in these multiple series. I just hope the next book gives everyone a proper story we can love after reading!

The book set up for one thing and completely went another way. The plot felt a little lazy and completely disregarded the main character to the point they become a side character
Whatttttt?! What kind of ending is that?!! Plot. Freaking. Twist but not really. Everyone’s all related or sleeping together & will end up together. Despite being stepfather & step daughter. It’s like a porno.
Well. I really thought Hunter & Alexandra would get their HEA but I guess Alexa & Beau get their HEA.
I think everyone ruined this love triangle or love square lol
This book gave me the most anxiety bc I really wanted Hunter & Alexa to work out even though Hunter has no personality. It’s always the hot billionaire who wins the girl!! The angst in these series is realllll!
Well, who knows if we’ll be getting another book. I don’t know if I really want to read about April & Hunter but I’m sure I will.

I love her books, and I was happy when Holden and Alexa ended the book together. This book made me mad, and I never get mad at books. I didn't even finish this book because I couldn't believe that she destroyed the characters and their love story. I was happy with either of Alexas' choices, but she could have just had her have the baby with Beau if she wanted them to end up together. And don't get me started on Holden and April... he was married to her mother. It just left an ugly taste in my mouth.
I love Kat’s books but this was not my favorite. I found the synopsis totally different from the actual book.
Spoilers: I thought this book was about beau and April. Instead it’s about Alexa, Hunter, Beau…and kind of April? I thought we were done with the love triangle. I feel for Hunter. Alexa seems wishy washy and has not been my favorite character. To a point it’s a lovely story about divorce and moving on and being amicable. Unfortunately not my favorite book but I will always love Kat’s books and look forward to the next one.

I am not ok! Stop here if you have not read this because spoilers coming - - - - - - - - - -
Ok the author makes us fall in love with Hunter in book 1 only to leave him alone, twice divorced and lonely. I need an April and Hunter book.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m also totally bonkers for Beau and happy he got his HEA but still I’m completely aggravated at Alexa who got the best of both men. She’s leaving heartbreak all around.

Why is the description about Beau and April when the book is about Beau and Alexa? And why have two awesome books about Alexa and Hunter then ruin their story with this book? The series should have ended with the last book after all the daughters found their guy. And the next book will be about Hunter and April when they aren’t part of Lex and Charlie’s family. Gotta know when to stop.

It makes me really sad that Alexa ended up with Beau. I thought she really cared about Hunter and they’d be happy after all their drama of getting together. I don’t like that it was changed, or maybe I just don’t remember right cause it’s been so long since I read the last one. I do like Beau though and wanted him happy, I’m torn! We’ll see what’s up next.
I love the series of the Edward family. So far my best story is Lex and Charlie. This book had me on edge and I was rooting for Alex and Hunter. I know he was married and cheated, so did Lex. I thought April and Beau would get together.
I was a Hunter/Alexa Stan. They had so much chemistry in the first two books before. Mourning their love. I can’t see Hunter and April together, That’s random like if they had chemistry they should’ve had it when they were living together all those years.
I really enjoyed the Dark Love Series then the Forbidden Love Series but this was honestly the one book I didn’t like, I wish it ended differently for Hunter and Alexa…
I was not happy how this book ended! It was so lame that she had Alexa and Hunter break up! It’s like they didn’t even try to make it work! So much stupid jealousy that could have been talked through! Also having Hunter and April ending up together!? What even!

3.5 rounded up cause it’s one of the first where it was not 💯 smutty and for some reason I like that. Hahahaha.
My own peeve with these book/this series is: YOU ARE RICH. PROPER CHILDCARE ISNT WEIRD OR SHRUGGING OFF MOTHERHOOD. Hahaha. These billionaires really cook their own meals, raise their own kids and still make tons of money with 0 childcare except for one another? Yea, no.
Betrayal and heartbreak lead Beau and April to escape what they are not willing to face, only both set off to Australia to find themselves, yet when they meet, they do so under the guise of different names, yet when reality sets back in and they come face to face do they realise the monumental mistake they made.
With Beau back in the picture, Hunter's jealousy gets the better of him when it comes to Alexa. However, the strain is clearly there, and one can't help by wondering what is going on.
April, despite her strained relationship with her mother, wants to reconnect with her, yet when she finds out what she is doing, it changes her perspective clearly on what a family unit should look like.
Everyone comes together to celebrate Eric and Tristan as they renew their vows. Everyone loves a good party. However, Hunter deals a devastating blow that shatters April's world, her mother Kathy has passed away.
Hunter spends his time, energy and effort supporting and being their for April through the most difficult time in her life, but he also knows that he must face the inevitable his marriage to Alexa is over, and she comes to the same conclusion.
Whilst this is not what they both wanted, they both have mutual respect for each other as they navigate co-parenting Elijah together.
April has leaned on Alexa as a pilar of strength. Despite what she is going through, she returns the favour and supports Alexa, giving her what she needs.
When Will breaks the news to his brother Beau on Alexa's separation, he is shocked, but in his mind he knows of he doesn't seize this chance, he knows he will loose her for good.
When Alexa finally admits that she is in love with Beau, does everything fall into place for them, yet it is a bitter pill for Hunter so swallow when he forces Alexa to admit some hard truths, now they can both get the clean break they deserve.
Alexa and Beau waste not time, making up for lost time, as Beau spends every minute he has worshipping the woman that he loves, both finally getting the happily ever after they deserve.
Yet one has to wonder now that April and Hunter are unattached, will anything come of what we read in the last chapter of this book, I certainly hope so because they both deserve their happiness and their happily ever after.
Highly recommend both the author and the book, now off to read Lex: A Dark Love Short Story.
Why even have two whole books for Alexa and Hunter? The whole reason their marriage was struggling is because they don’t communicate. Then he just ups and dumps her because his ex wife dies? What a fucking loser, then now she’s in love with her best friend so they have to be together. That’s exactly why her and Hunter got together in the first place. I have loved the whole damn Edward clan but this is just to much and I don’t even want to read anymore of this. This whole thing with Beau is just over kill, why could you just let two people be happy and figure shit out. Her dad is over working him to the point he can’t be home with his family and instead of him saying something he just says oh well. Then the whole Kathy over dosing thing and instead of leaning on his family for support he dumps his wife and moves out from his family. I’m sorry but no this is a book I can’t get behind and I’m not sure I can continue to be behind this. What’s next I’m supposed to read about April and Hunter being together? I thought this book was supposed to be about Beau and April and was excited to see a few mentions of Alexa and Hunter becoming this sweet little family but nope this is what you chose to do. Why not just have Alexa and Beau get together in the second book and have Hunter coparent then? Honestly disappointed I already felt like the whole series was going down hill the more you got in to it. This how ever is the final nail and the coffin and I don’t even want to finish this book.

Craving Her is the third book in the Secret Love Series and it should be read in order so start with Craving Love then read Craving Us before this book. This story actually builds on characters first introduced in Chasing Love but there is enough context to understand the connections. I would highly recommend that the series is read in order though because this family has drama and the ride is well worth it!!
In Craving Her the love triangle of the series comes to a head and decision are made but I will not disclose anything so as not to spoil the story. Alexandra (Alex), Hunter, April and Beau are all the major characters in this book and we get a better look into April, her family dynamics and her friendship with Alex. Alex's family is of course in this book because it's just so big there is no way to avoid it and Eric as always brings his sparkly energy.
I have been looking forward to this book since reading Craving Us. I felt a little unsatisfied with that book but this wraps things up nicely. It's not without it's ups and downs though and the story could have taken another route. The ending leave the door open for another book which I really hope will happen because I'm not quite ready to let this family go.
