Most books by LT3 are well edited, but not this one. I'm forgiving of such things if the story is great, this one could be great but the solution of the conflict felt cheap, especially for this historical setting.

What I liked: Lykans, they were not some cuddly wolves but dangerous animals, who could kill.

Some parts of the story did remind me of Twilight. Henry the son of a Rancher and his best friend Jake(mhm, familiar isn't it?) who happens to belong to an Indian tribe and there are vampires. The vampire council comes to see if they have to kill Henry, because he was human and knew of werewolves and vampires.

Oh and when one decides to use another language, this should be corrected by some native speaker, with the internet and Goodreads you have that option available to you.

I decided to re-read this story and wow, I can describe the main storyline as being ridiculously childish. This time, I'm rating it with 4 stars, because we did get an HEA.

This is a story I really enjoyed reading. I'm sure, I will re-read it many times. I loved Henry as a character. He had the attitude "he knew who he wanted, and damn if there will be anyone keeping him away" I really liked Henry's characteristic, he was strong willed and well suited for Mohegan.
As a werewolf Mohegan simply needed a mate and with Henry he calitd down. Henry and Mohegan were well suited and good mated pair. The story ended to soon. I will definitely read the sequel!

Very cool book everyone. The best was happy ending and epilogue. If I could choose I would like to read those years when those two did raise up those 3 kids.

Mohegan is rough, sexy and violent with great descriptions of the setting and characters. The story plot is evenly paced and I like how her characters ( lead and secondary ) gives Mohegan that extra “umph”. The moral of the story is dont judge the book by its cover and success is the reward of persistence ^__*

The only bad part is the last quarter towards the ending...it was just kind of sudden.I wish there were more elaboration or action added to this part.

Anyway, this is one shifter story I dont mind reading umpteen times. Hopefully more on the children.

I was a little hesitant about reading this story since it's in the '50s and I'm not all that into historical stories, but it seemed interesting and the story had me captured from the first page! I couldn't tear my eyes away from my computer and finished it in a day.
I liked the plot, the setting (and yes, even the historical part which wasn't very conspicuous) and the characters.
Overall it's highly recommendable and hugely intertaining

The storyline should have carried this novel, as it was a fascinating premise set in a realistic landscape.
I just found the whole thing dragged. The writing was quite immature in my opinion; it felt like the work of a teenager.
Obviously, plenty of other reviewers think differently; this is just how it was for me and the reason it only receives 2 stars.
