think that there is certainly nothing as disconcerting as finding out somebody is trying to assassinate you.
As happened with Genna.
Out of the blue.
The second short story in the Randall Steadman series this is another surprise packet from the fertile mind of author Joslyn Chase where action and plot twists vie with each other in keeping your eyes glued to each page as if treasure bound...in a manner of speaking, of course.
Not that Genna had much choice in being the target for assassination. The more burning question being whether she will survive any further attempts.
Enjoy.
