Das ist der 9. Band der „Dengeki Daisy“ Reihe von Mangaka Kyosuke Motomi. Insgesamt gibt es 16 Bände, die man auf jeden Fall in der richtigen Reihenfolge lesen sollte, da die Geschichten aufeinander aufbauen.
Um was geht es in dieser Manga Reihe?
Teru hat ihren Bruder verloren. Bevor er starb, gab er ihr ein Handy, durch das sie Kontakt zu einer unbekannten Person mit dem Decknamen Daisy aufnehmen kann, die sie fortan beschützen soll. Teru versucht, etwas über Daisys Identität herauszufinden und erlebt dabei einige Abenteuer. Was da alles so passiert, könnt ihr dann ja selbst herausfinden. ...
Ich liebe die Geschichte einfach! Viel mehr kann ich dazu wirklich nicht sagen. Auch der 9. Teil war wieder richtig toll! Dengeki Daisy ist ein ziemlich textintensiver Manga. Ich kann die Reihe wirklich jedem empfehlen, der gerne einmal ein längeres Manga Vergnügen hätte. Die Bände sind nicht so schnell ausgelesen, wie das bei normalen Mangas der Fall ist. Man bekommt hier eine tolle Story, viel Drama, Witz, Spannung und Romantik.

Dengeki Daisy is a favorite of mine for not only for its beautiful artistic characters but also for the romance that just tantalized me through and through but also for the tight-knit relations that the characters have. Through a darkened past, they all stick close to each other because they are more of a family. That is what I find beautiful about this manga.
Definitely something Shojo fans should look into. You'll fall for the characters in a heartbeat (especially Kurosaki) and the artwork grows on you. Dengeki Daisy is a heartthrob and that is no understatement.

I am left once more hanging, due to the demise of US publishers of manga. I really enjoy the cheeky wit of this series, as well as the depth of thought about relations between people. The art is well done, going from the romantic close-ups, to action scenes, and well of course the goofy comic panels. I really have enjoyed the author's side columns-as the series progressed. Nice to see her so happy that the series got passed a couple volumes. I wish her well, and thank her for all her efforts. I am just hoping for a couple more volumes to explain Akira.

While the previous volume was about true forgiveness, this volume explores the difficulties in re-establishing a relationship, especially when the nature of the relationship has changed.
But first, Teru has to get the chance to tell Kurosaki everything she's been thinking for the past while.
It starts with Kurosaki dreaming of Teru. In his dream, she's not angry with him. She wants him back.
Then, he wakes up.
The first chapter (40) in this volume covers a lot of ground, beginning with Kurosaki's discovery by Boss and ending with Teru and Kurosaki standing face to face. In between, we see that Akira still knows how to contact Teru, and in a stalkerish way, at that. We see Teru's conviction and the support she gets from her growing circle of friends. We also see the beginnings of a sub-plot involving a couple I'd been hoping would get together for some time: Kiyoshi and Rena. In this chapter, we see the beginnings of a friendship between those two that, hopefully, will turn into something more.
The next chapter (41) is so awesome, I don't want to put any spoilers in it. Let's just say that Teru's plan to get Kurosaki back is both mean and brilliant. This chapter shows just how well they both know each other. There are so many points where I ended up laughing, just to cover my mouth at a part so tender and romantic.
Okay, I'll give one spoiler. Teru doesn't tell Kurosaki she forgives him. Read it, and you'll see why.
This chapter is an amazing blend of humor and love. In fact, if I had to pick one chapter to sum up the series so far, it would be this one.
However, just because Kurosaki is back in her life doesn't mean their relationship is the same. The charade of "Daisy" is over. There's nothing hidden any more between them. And chapter 42 makes it clear that Teru still feels like Kurosaki could vanish at any moment. A certain amount of trust has been lost.
This chapter, given that it ends up in a hotel room, could have easily been about the physical. Though there are some jokes about it, instead, Motomi Kyousuke uses it as an opportunity to rebuild trust between our two main characters.
In chapter 43, we're back to the now-familiar school grounds. Once again, Teru is doing Kurosaki's work, but this time it's obvious the ground rules of their relationship have changed. Nothing big. Just little things made clear. (For example, Kurosaki actually compliments her on the work she did. O_O)
In this chapter, the question of texting to Daisy comes up. It turns out that Teru has been writing Daisy but never sending anything to him. This strikes Rena as wrong and she encourages Teru to talk to Kurosaki about it. After all, it wouldn't be any more odd than couples who use baby talk.
But when Teru discusses it with Kurosaki, she discovers he has a very different view of Daisy's communications.
This chapter really exposes the change that's been building all through this volume. Daisy doesn't really exist. He's an act. And yet, that act had power in Teru's life. Changing that is an enormous thing for her and the mangaka does a great job of showing the resolution for that particular problem.
The final chapter in this volume covers Akira's "confrontation" with Kurosaki. Although I liked the back and forth between Akira and Kurosaki, what I liked better was how much Teru has grown since the last time Akira touched her life. This chapter gave a much needed resolution to the earlier problems of trust that existed between her and Kurosaki. The ending to this chapter made me smile for days.
Looking forward to the next volume.

The last few volumes of Dengeki Daisy have been hovering treacherously close to too much melodrama and angst. I like angst in a story, don't get me wrong. It has its place. But not as the driving force in a story. Thankfully, in volume 9, Dengeki Daisy gets back to what it excels at best - humor with near perfect comedic timing, great spicy characters, and a sweet romance between two people who really do need each other and complete each other. *happy* *happy*

This is so unbelievably cheesy, chapter 42 I mean. But after the heavy emotions of the volume before, it's nice. I like the focus of this manga, I do. It's like Fruits Basket and Ouran High School Host Club and Stray Love Hearts. It's not just about these two falling in love but it's about their stories and the bigger plot. I don't know, am I making sense? All I know is I really love what I'm reading now. It's very sweet and to some extent actiony. Even Teru, who's more a passive character like Tohru from Fruits Basket rather than a character like Tsubasa from Tokyo Crazy Paradise or Misaki from Kaichou wa Maid-Sama, I still really like her character. I mean she doesn't say useless things, or obsess over useless things. She thinks through them clearly and does the right things (the kinds of things I like in a main character) at the right time. Even her stupid things are admirable! Hehe, it seems, I really like this manga :P

YES! The lovers come back together! To be honest I've read all of the "Dengeki Daisy" volumes (up to volume 14 chapter 71...) But this is my favorite volume! I figured there would be a photo of Teru when she was a baby or a memory or something... but all it shows is Soichiro before he dies... It's too sad... But there is that memory of when Soichiro took Kurosaki to his place. I guess that counts but I REALLY want to see a past of Teru as a little kid! Who agrees?! \(> w <)/

Yay it got funny again! I love this series but I was getting a little worried because it was becoming too overly serious (don't get me wrong I don't mind seriousness but this manga wasn't walking the line too well with balance between love and funny and seriousness) and I fell in love with its humor so I'm glad the funny is back.

Thankfully the previous volume is wrapped up in the beginning and we return to a new normal by the end. It's a welcomed fusion of drama and comedy as Teru and Tasuku move forward with most secrets laid bare. ;)

This was an interesting volume. Readers see the positive change in the communication between teru and Kurosaki, especially in their text message. Readers also get to learn more about this cyber mafia group. Akira is back, and I don’t like his Soichiro with pointed teeth look. I thought we would be tougher since he’s so frightening and evil, but he seems particularly harmless this volume. This was still a solid volume, but the one before this was too impressive. 4.8/5.

This almost feels like a finale. Almost.
Teru and Kurosaki reunite and make up, coming to terms with their relationship and how it is a strange one at that. Using trust and camaraderie to stay together. The secret company that was trying to revive Jack Frost is revealed in the media to be a dangerous corporation, Akira was behind exposing them.

This is such a cute volume; it was so sweet to see Teru and Kurosaki reunite and redefine their relationship. I loved the moments where they acted on their feelings for each other slightly more than they would have before, allowing them to slowly move toward becoming a couple <3

I really enjoyed this one. The way Teru works and how she handles situations is so different than I would and it's very refreshing. Their relationship is such a fun one.
