Cole is the third book in the Laurel Falls Possessive Mountain Man Series by
Cindy Smoke.
A very short read (easily read in a half hour), this is a great lunch break read. Being a short novella, there isn’t a lot of time for character development. I'd recommend reading the other books in the series to give some background on the characters.
This book has a medium level of spice. There are some light BDSM themes ( spanking/praise) but is overall a very sweet, instalave story.
I received this book as an ARC. This is my honest review.

Cole is a short read that is fast paced but still packs a lot in to its pages.
We get a brief overview of Cole and what his life was like and the past history between Maggie and Cole before the sparks quickly start.
This book has unrequited love from Maggie and instalove from Cole giving you the perfect mix for an explosive relationship that you end up backing 100%. This book even begins to hit at a bit of heartbreak for Maggie but not not all is as she thinks.
There is spice in this book however it doesn’t overwhelm the story and sometimes is off page but still mentioned which I think allows the storyline not to become overwhelmed which I have found is the case in a lot of Cindys books. I always enjoy picking up one of them if I wasn’t something quick and easy to read that is set in a small town and COLE is no different

tropes: insta love, brothers best friend
this book is pretty much the definition of insta love which i’m personally not the biggest fan of, i just wanted a quick steamy book.
the smut is pretty vanilla in this book and didn’t wow me
overall, very quick and easy read and i think i finished it in about half an hour
