Enticing the King is the next instalment of Giselle and her men. Things are definitely getting more and more complicated by the minute and I’m not sure how poor Giselle is going to cope with these two “Neanderthals”😳
A really quick read and I want to know what’s going to happen next❣️ I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review😍
Just when I thought the grovel was finally good, it gets ugly again. And complicated. But the unlikely hero and broker of this latest compromise is none other than Asher. And he deserves all the stars because he’s far too wise for his years. He sees too much. He knows something about Giselle’s own likely future that she sure doesn’t. And he’s here for her above all others, no matter how dangerous these big dumb men are.
I’m having a hard time loving Giselle right now though. I know she’s confused. I know she’s trying to save everyone from heartache. But maybe she’s the biggest cause of her own….
NOTE: these really need to be read in order! Oh my! We know Giselle is running from her daughter Dani’s father…. but not more details there. She works at Ilona’s to stay “off the books” yet earn money to afford to live.
She has attracted two billionaire brothers Carlo and Stefan. They run hot and cold. Last we knew Carlo was trying to have a child with another woman and Stefan was engaged. Now they are after Giselle with a full court press. Carlo is trying “too hard” in my opinion, and trying to “buy” her forgiveness. Stefan settles for an evening in - making them feel like a family - but we cannot forget all the hurtful things he said when it went “bad” last time.
Half of me says yes - the other half says they’ve burnt their bridges - but it’s not up to the reader! An absolute roller coaster ride, and definitely keeps your attention!!
***** I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book *****
These books are so good! Each one takes you in a different direction with Carlos, Stefan, and Giselle. With Carlos trying to have a baby with Stassia and Stefan engaged to Nevaeh, the last thing Giselle expects is for them is to turn their attention back to her. Her trust in them, however, is gone after the way they treated her when they broke up. I agree they were horrible and have a lot of groveling to do. Asher came through like a champ for Giselle and proved to be the adult in the room between the two brawling brothers. Also we are still waiting to find out about Dani's father and what caused Giselle to run and fear that situation. As usual, we were left a bit surprised at the end by the way things turned out.
I stopped reading these books because Giselle is absolutely pathetic.
She claims that everything she does if for her daughter - that's why she chose to be a sex worker so she could make money. No offense, but Giselle is written in a way that she enjoys being a whore more than a sex worker, which is fine - there's no judgment from me, but she's so hypocritical when it comes to both Stefan and Carlos. She broke both of their hearts, and she is too stupid to even see it. She's also blinded by her lust and doesn't consider to put her daughter first.
Was glad to see that Stefan finally has his own series ... he falls in love with a nurse named Francesca. Hope they get their happy ending and he doesn't feel the need to share her with his brother and Nick.
Even being sick didn't stop me from savoring this!! I have been waiting since the last book, which we all know Jessa York likes to end with a huge cliffhanger in these books. But man, I just want to slap the ever loving crap out of Carlo and Stefan!! These 2 just need to man up and work it out!! When you think they have figured out a way to possibly work stuff out, we are thrown through another ringer. But I'm still not sure of what she will do and how Giselle can figure it out when you love each man for a different reason.
I am still very intrigued by Giselle's past and can't wait to uncover it. Hopefully, that little Easter egg will pop up soon!!
Complicated doesn’t even begin to describe how Giselle’s life is turning out!
Both Carlo and Stefan are not helping her in any way at all! They are both stubborn and want her but don’t express well what they want other then they do! Plus it’s like a competition to win her and she hates that.
She has a hard time resisting them both! I find it hypocritical of them to ask her to choose when they have shared women before including Eve and yet them get mad at her when they find out she slept with Nick and both of them as well!
Giselle does try hard to keep her heart on the back burner but it’s not that easy!
Again I asked. Why are these two brothers Carlo and Stefan, wasting their time and energy on Giselle?! She's very insecure and childish. She thinks that they're playing a game with her, because she too damn dumb to see that both brothers are in love with her. She's definitely not worth alk this hassle. And her poor daughter is the one whose going to pay the ultimate price, because she growing attached to both brothers. She's calling one of then "Dada". What a mess this is. Giselle, is making really hard to feel any sympathy for her at all. She's the reason why this story is getting only one star because she's getting on my last nerves with her stupidity.
Enticing the King is the next installment of Giselle and her guys. These two guys need to get their crap together or end up both loosing Giselle for good. There are so many twists and turns with and emotional overload that will have you flipping through this book in one sitting. Just when you think you know where this story is going, bam! another road block. This one end on a cliffy that had me going insane for the next installment. I need to see what happened in Giselle's past and how the guys are going to react.
Book 7 picks up right where the last one left off, and boy are these brothers putting poor Giselle through it! Her conflicting emotions jump off the page, as does the depth of her love for all involved in this triangle.
An arrangement between the two brothers is developed to try to help Giselle resolve who she ultimately wants to be with. While all goes smoothly on the initial date, things quickly unravel and we're left with another cliffhanger.
From one cliffhanger to another but I love this series. Giselle's life is still in turmoil and Stefan and Carlo are right in the thick of it. She has two men that love her and Dani with their whole hearts, but how does she feel? She's been hurt, had her heart shattered by both of them but now what will she do? What is this secret that she is still keeping? It this one of the reasons that she is holding back in finding love? What will happen in Seducing The King?
Woweeee! I had to wait awhile for this book to hit my kindle and Jessa York did not disappoint. The spice was 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 Stefan and Carlo are vying for Giselle’s heart. I am usually REALLY good at figuring out how books are going to end, but I honestly do not know who she is going to choose! Are both of these men genuinely in love with her? Or is she a pawn in their egotistical game of control and who is the “bigger man?” I can’t wait for the next book!

Enticing The King is the seventh book in Jessa York's Sovrano Crime Family series, and I must say keep them coming! I am loving this series, each book keeps you on your toes wondering what will be coming next. We learn a little more about Giselle, and Carlo and Stefan don't make easy for her. It must be noted that these books must be read in order, and I can't wait to see what happens in book eight.
Enticing the King is book 7 in Giselle's story. She has two men chasing her and she finds herself in a crazy agreement. I still have mixed feelings about Carlo and Stephan when it comes to Giselle, but they both definitely have their good moments. I'm waiting for them to find out about Giselle's past life and what they are going to do about it. I also can't wait to see what Carlo is about to do. Ready for book 8!
This is book 7 of Giselle’s story. She sent s still torn between Carlo and Stefan. I still prefer Carlo, if she were to ever choose between them!!! Well, anyway, they both are smitten with her and Dani, and do whatever they can to get her attention and love. However, it seems she has a secret we still don’t know about. I’m intrigued and can’t wait for the next book!
These three are going to be the death of me I swear. Carlo and his freaking mood swings! He is a perfect gentleman one minute saying the most wonderful things and the next he has turned into a grade A meanie!
I don’t know how Giselle is making it through!
I know there are at least 3 more books but Carlo better figure himself out real quick!!!!
I really don’t want to rate each of these books. They are like a bunch of sampler that have been bound together to call it a series. I don’t think I will read another of these types of books if I get an inkling this is the type of book. I wouldn’t invest the time and energy.
"Enticing the King" (The Sovrano Crime Family Book 7) by Jessa York was a terrific read. I loved this latest addition of Giselle, Carlo, and Stefan's story. This story had romance, passion, entertaining characters, billionaires, family, friends, and more. I'm anxious to see what happens next. I highly recommend it to all fans of romance, billionaires, and series.
Giselle’s story continues in this book which is book 7 of the series. Things get even more complicated between Giselle, Carlo, and Stefan. This book is spicy yet has some very sweet moments as well. It’s a quick and fun read. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Seriously don't know how I feel about this series at this point. Now we've got Danni being brought into the battle between brothers and it's a cluster. Like, messy much? Asher steps in, but Giselle self-sabotages and we still don't know who's looking for her.
Poor Giselle, these two sexy brothers just keep making life harder for her. When shes almost over them BAM nope here they come again. I can not wait to see what happens next.
Meh. I know I’m beating a dead horse, but the books would be better if they had a defined start and finish because they were actually, you know, real book length.
Let me take you to 03:00 on the first day (or night, lol) of January. There was still a lot of fireworks outside and I thought "You know what? I can't sleep so just let me check out that ebook I got with the last Stuff your Kindle (or in my case Kobo) day." It is now the third of January and I just finished book 8.
Did I regret getting almost no sleep these past days? No I did not.
Why, you ask?
Because this I haven't enjoyed a bookseries so much as I love this one in a very long time. Like it has "fanfic telenovela level" drama (which is a very good thing) but is also written well. I enjoy it so, so much.
Just when you think you know what is about to happen there is a twist. Giselle doesn't know what to do! I am loving this series so much! Can't wait to see what happens next.
