Exposing The Groom

Killian swept in like a knight in shining leather pants to save Scarlett once she exposed the groom. The next time they saw each other, they ended up fake-engaged. Can they find a way to make it down the aisle together and live happily ever after? Find out in #1 New York Times bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken’s EXposing the Groom, a romantic comedy with a side of rockstar.

How it started:
An accidental phone grab during my rehearsal dinner while my fiancé went to use the restroom.

How it ended:
Reading all the dirty texts between him and my maid of honor, aka little sister, during our vows in of the world in what would later be considered one of the most viral wedding videos on TikTok.
Of. All. Time.
Did I mention his vows were before mine, and he compared me to my adopted dog because... and I quote, “I’m so loyal.”
It’s not my fault that my first instinct, after exposing his dirty lies, was to run up to the clueless rockstar that was supposed to headline my reception and ask him to sing my tears away. I never expected him to help me escape certain disaster, kiss me senseless, and then buy me ice cream.
But that was all in the past—until I’m staring down at a wedding invitation from the crappy little crap pants ex. You see, he swapped sisters, and now a year later, they’re getting married at a gorgeous winery while I’m still staring down at a plus one, wondering if I can bring my pet turtle.

How it happened:
In desperation, I sent a drunken text to the hot rockstar with a picture of my turtle, Chuck Norris… in a bowtie. Who knew he would show up at the wedding—but get this, it wasn’t to save me, nope, it was to… yup, SING!
SHE STOLE HIM TOO!
But now that he’s there and I’m there, and the history is there, I beg him one more time to save me, this time as my date.
But lie after lie just kept pouring out of my mouth until we were somehow fake-engaged.
I would laugh if crying didn’t feel so good.
Should have brought the freaking turtle...

I love the way it started with Scarlett getting her revenge on her cheating fiance. Guess who he's been cheating with? Her sister. Man, what an awful person she was. Not just with the cheating itself, but just an all around awful person in every aspect.

Killian is the musical entertainment that's playing at her wedding. After she ditches the venue they hang out for a few hours and that's pretty much it on that front.

Flash forward a year or so and we're off to the sisters/ex fiance's wedding. A little car trouble has her hitching a ride with Killian since he happens to be at the same place she broke down at and he's on the way to the same wedding. Convenient. So she doesn't look like a loser they pretend to be dating.

Overall, I did enjoy the banter and felt their chemistry, but as far as everything else this was just okay for me. I hated how people just expected her to forgive and forget, unforgivable and unforgettable in my eyes. I did get a chuckle with her having a pet turtle named Chuck Norris that she dressed up though..

Narration notes:
No complaints with either of them.

Exposing the Groomsman is a laugh out loud romcom! I knew Rachel Van Dyken could write angsty mafia romances, but I’ve never seen her sweeter side until now and I absolutely ADORED IT! The minute I read “can I bring my pet turtle” I knew I had to read this one. And yes, there is a pet turtle, and he likes walks and wearing mini tuxedos 😂. All around this is just such a fun book! You get a quirky heroine who is basically a runaway bride when she finds out her sister and her husband to-be were having an affair, a rock star who LITERALLY saves her day, and an upcoming wedding that neither are thrilled about attending. This book has amazing banter, hilarious and tender moments, and an amazing cast of characters! I highly recommend it!

awful

Without a doubt one of the worst books I have ever read . Do not waste your money . You will never get the time back you spend reading this book. It just jumped all over the place and there was not one funny moment in the whole book. I only finished it cause I hoped Scarlett stood up for herself where her sister is concerned . And she didn’t , it was a half a**ed attempt at understanding her awfulness.
One star ⭐️
This booked is going to annoy me for days cause it is just not good.

Fake fiancé rom-com!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💚🖤❤️
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘
World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌏
Character development: ☺️😊🙃🥰
Narrator(s): 🎙🎙
Narration type: Dual Narration

The heroine: Scarlett - she was about to marry a wealthy man named Rob when at the rehearsal dinner, she finds a bunch of scandalous texts between him and her sister and maid of honor. She waits until the actual wedding and as her vows, she reads back the texts to the crowd. Exposing her cheating groom and her sister. The texts reveal that Rob just wanted Scarlett because she was loyal, and everyone liked her. She would be a great trophy wife, plus her father had business contacts that he could use.

The Hero: Killian - he is a famous rockstar who was paid big to play at what was supposed to be the biggest wedding in Seattle, when the beautiful bride comes up to him crying and asks him to sing for her. So, he does. He was in Britain’s most famous boy band until four years ago when the band broke up and everyone blamed him, and he has gone quiet ever since. He feels he really is doing bad going from playing sold out stadiums to playing in a wedding.

The story: Scarlett goes viral, not for her wedding vows, but for the fact that she is serenaded by Killian while crying and holding his hand. She ends up kissing Killian and going off with him on a date afterwards. Two months later, Killian has a new album hitting high on the charts and is back to singing in sold out stadium shows. A year later, Scarlett is invited to the wedding of her sister and Rob. Killian is supposed to play at the wedding as a way to redeem himself from “stealing” the bride at the last wedding where he was supposed to play.

This book was fun and a bit silly. The characters and supporting characters were all terrific. I liked the fact that Scarlett and Killian were bickering throughout the story. There is plenty of laughs and a few good storylines including some issues both main characters have, and the evil fiancé stealing sister, a fear of mice, a shellfish allergy and much more.

This audiobook was narrated in dual points of view via dual narration. It was narrated by Monica King and David Brenin. Monica King has a decent voice, she isn’t one of my favorites, but you can’t tell she is reading. David Brenin also isn’t one of my favorites, I tend to like a deeper voice in my favorite male narrators. He does have an English accent, though I think his voice fit much better for Rob than for Killian and his voice for female characters is awful. Also, he sounds way too old to be Killian.

DNF (really is a F)
The idea of a bride reading her cheating fiancé's sexy text messages in front of a shocked gathering at their wedding had me intrigued to see what happened next.

When it was reveled that he had been cheating on her younger sister had me wowed. Enter a hottish Harry Styles type singer and off she goes with him, leaving the entire wedding party gasping. Sounds possibly good, right?

Nope! Then the story jumped a year into the future, with the MC receiving a wedding invitation for the nuptials of her sister and ex-fiancé, I still was intrigued, but then the family was trying to convince her to forgive her bitch of a sister and ex and actually go to the wedding. Like What??

At that point I was curious of how this was going to pan out. Would there be that moment where she tells her sister and entire family to eff off? Nope. Doesn't happen. She puts up with all the stupid bullshit.

The dialog in the book was bizarrely written as well. Like all the characters talked the same. It was strange. There was no distinctness between the characters. I found myself multiple times having to read the last paragraph because I wasn't sure exactly who was talking.

In the end, I just gave up and deleted it from my Kindle, sighing at yet another wasted brief moment of my time and another addition to books that I just couldn't deal with.

ARC kindly received for an honest review.

What did I just read? Lol. This book felt like it had A.D.D. lol. There was a frenetic energy about it, and at first I felt a little lost, but once I got into it, and properly picked up the story, I was laughing at the antics of these characters. I liked Scarlett and Killian, and I also liked Dustin and Adrian - can we get books for those two please? I despised Addison, although I guess that's the point - RVD really wrote a character here that I wanted all the bad things to happen to.

This off the planet romcom had me laughing at the characters and their interactions and rooting for them to have all the good things happen to them. Whilst it was so crazy and a little rushed feeling, it was a lot of fun and I read it in around 24 hours.

Would recommend, and as I mentioned earlier in this review, would love to read more about some of the secondary characters too.

*Book Received in Exchange for Honest Opinion/Review*

I have to be honest, I was nervous starting this book, especially with the cheater synopsis. Throw in the fact that it was the bride's younger sister that the fiancé was cheating on her with...yeah. But it's RVD so I gave it a go and was pleasantly surprised.

The book flowed so smoothly, even though the whole story takes place in a very short time frame, things didn't feel rushed. I guess major life events can bond people in unknown ways. Scarlett and Killian just work. They give on enemies-to-lovers vibe but that is just animosity to mask their explosive sexual chemistry. Their banter had me grinning and giggling and when things got to heavy; naïve Dustin was there to break up the tension by either unknowingly cock-blocking or going on a fact tangent complete with photos.

Scarlett's little sister and ex are the absolute worst and I didn't care much for her parents. How could her father even try to convince her to show up to this sham of a wedding is beyond me. But what her family lacked, her best friend (Adrian) more than made up for. A cute, quick read with found family, top-notch banter, and a happily-ever-after.

Copy received from author for an honest review

I have been reading Rachel Van Dyken since I first came across her Eagle Elite series many years ago, and have been reading her since.

Now, I will admit that lately I have found a lot of her stories hit or miss, however EXposing The Groom is hit for me.

It was chaotic and a bit messy at the beginning, but it was enjoyable and it made me laugh out loud. It took a while for things to calm down and make more sense, but once it did, I was along for the ride - and yes, it did stay chaotic the whole way through.

I loved Killian and Scarlett - theirs was a story full of surprises.

Dustin and Adrian are brilliant and need their stories told - STAT!

But Addison could die a fiery death and I wouldn't spit on her to put them out, I despised them that much lol

This was shades of Ms Van Dyken's Consequences series, and I for one really enjoyed it.

Exposing the Groom is a chaotic, banter-heavy, non-stop romantic comedy. It is the romcom to beat all romcoms. Scarlett and rockstar, Killian Stone's banter is fun, hilarious, and on point.

When Scarlett finds out that her fiancé is cheating on her (with her sister), she deals with it in an unforgettable way. Truly memorable. Killian, hired to play at the wedding, rescues Scarlett instead.

Cut to a year later and Scarlett is forced to attend her sister, Addison's wedding to Scarlett's ex-fiancé! And who would be singing at the wedding? Killian! Why? Because Addison is a jealous, conniving sister. Truly awful. So glad the shrimp got to her. LOL

Besides all the comedy, there are a few heavier moments, too. Nothing too heavy, though, as this is a lighter read. If you are looking for a hilarious romcom with a turtle named Chuck Norris, then check this book out.

Thank you to the author for an advanced readers copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was a HILARIOUSLY laugh out loud and steamy Rockstar romance between two former childhood friends who are reunited unexpectedly when Scarlett dumps her fiancé at the alter after discovering he's been cheating on her with her little sister. Cue the hot wedding singer who steps up and sweeps Scarlett off her feet for one memorable night before he ghosts her.

Fast forward one year and Scarlett is getting ready to go to her sister's wedding only to find that the Rockstar who got away is singing at the wedding. What follows are tons of embarrassing moments, from food poisoning to turtle tuxes, karaoke and heartfelt revelations. I also liked that there was a great deal of emotional depth to balance out all the laughs.

Highlights for me included, Chuck Norris, the pet turtle, the male sterility rep, the secret childhood friends who get a second chance and all the swoony singing moments. Kudus to RVD for another standout romcom I couldn't put down!! This was also great on audio narrated by Monica King and David Brenin.

When RVD first started "messing" around the idea of this story, I absolutely loved it. She wrote a few pieces in her reader group and we practically begged her to write this as a full fledge novel. So when she announced, Exposing The Groom, I was beyond excited to read this.

The blurb gives you all you need to know about the plot. I will tell you that Rachel writes one hilarious, rockstar romance.

It does start off a bit chaotic for me, but quickly everything evens out and things begin to come together. I loved everything about this book – from the characters, to their mannerisms to how the whole plot plays out.

Exposing The Groom is quite the hysterical ride and you definitely don't want to miss it.

THIS WAS LIKE A POORLY SCRIPTED LOW BUDGET REALITY TV SHOW😐
It did a lot of things and achieved absolutely nothing!

If you're going into this book expecting a sweet revenge glow up situation, then run very far away, this is not the book for you.

This chick never stood up for herself when it came to her sister and it was ridiculous! she always stayed there "crying"Like, not even a dirty slap! Her parents were absolutely chill with the nonsense her psycho sister pulled in fact, nobody checked the bitch!

For her love life, she had more chemistry with Adrian her priest bestie and ex boyfriend than her rockstar man. Like, those people barely knew eachother! She and Adrian could have had it all...just saying.

Finally, the main reason I hated this book was that every single character sounded like the same person. The same tone, the same flow of jokes etc
It drove me crazy and because of this none of the intended emotions were properly conveyed.
Don't even get me started on the forced chaos and thousands of plot twists.

EXposing the Groom by Rachel Van Dyken was laugh out loud funny and hit all the chaotic humorous tones I could've needed in a romcom with some of the best and worst characters all rolled up into one book.

Scarlett is set to give her vows at her wedding and instead of pledging her life to her groom, she has found out what a cheating bastard he truly is and gives a performance worthy of going viral on TikTok with all his wrongdoings. While it hurt Scarlett, it was way too funny for words. But enter the singer for her reception to the rescue. Killian sweeps her off her feet for one night and makes her forget what a truly horrible day it ended up being.

Fast forward a year later and Scarlett is best friend's with the priest that was performing her wedding (who happens to also be an ex of hers), she is making clothes for her turtle and she still thinks of the rockstar that saved her from her own demise. When she gets an invite to her sister's wedding......to HER ex, a drunken text starts a rollercoaster of crazy antics that lead to Killian the rockstar back in her life. Drunken hilarity ensues and we have some over the top, fake dating, food poisoning and one oddball of assistant to entertain us for the remainder of the book.

This was one of the funnest times I had reading a book. It was totally politically incorrect but damn hilarious. Was it over the top? Yes. But were the characters great (with a side of 2 horrible ones)? Yes again. I loved Scarlett and her friendship with Adrian, the priest. They were truly the best. And then there is Killian, his PR manager and his assistant Dustin. OMG! They were something else.

While this was definitely a romcom, we got a couple heavier topics that were handled with care. Nothing too traumatic, but it made the connection that Killian and Scarlett had even better.

If you like some crazy wedding hijinks, a horrible sister, and an outstanding cast that includes a cougar, mouse, and a turtle named Chuck Norris, definitely give this book a shot and be prepared to laugh and swoon all at the same time. Light, fun, chaotic and truly entertaining!

This is not your average, lovey-dovey romcom. This is a romance where you slog through betrayal, heartbreak, and disappointments, then have to pretend you’re happy for the most horrible mean girl who's making her dreams come true with your ex-fiancé and determined to make your life miserable.

When Scarlett Winthrop finds out that her groom is cheating with her own sister, the vows she read at her wedding take a revealing turn. She flees the chapel and heads to the reception hall, requesting a song from rock star Killian Stone who's providing the music for the reception. Killian becomes the hero who sweeps her away, dries her tears, makes her laugh and then leaves.

A year later, Scarlett and Killian meet again, and yes, he's performing at another wedding. Scarlett's sister's wedding. To Scarlett's ex-fiancé. While this may look like the ultimate betrayal, Killian had no idea who the bride and groom were. Between a broken-down car, a lot of alcohol, and a reservation mix-up, it appears that Scarlett and Killian are fake engaged and staying in the same suite. With his assistant Dustin, and her plus one, Aiden.

What follows is a combination of Shakespeare and Carol Burnett comedy of errors, accidents, and mean-girl bride/sister manipulations. With surprises at every turn and a laugh a minute, this one kept me up late into the night devouring the pages. It's one big complicated, messy delight, and I couldn’t get enough.

While I think of RVD as the mafia queen, she clearly has the talent to craft an unexpected, unique, comedic story in a class of its own. Scarlett and Killian's romance sets a new bar in romantic comedy. It's fresh and laugh-out-loud hilarious yet beautifully touching and heartfelt.

Right now it's my top romcom read for the year, and I have my doubts that anything will come along and knock it out of the number one spot. Run to the 1-Click and start reading this one ASAP. You'll laugh till you cry and have your heart squeezed in the most exquisite ways, and these characters will live in your heart long after the last page.

So this story started as a thing in her Facebook group. We got to read little bits and pieces of it there and I just fell in love so once this one was ready I had to grab it. All I can really say is buckle up because you’re going to laugh so hard it hurts. These two are comical and fun the entire ride. They fight as much as they don’t and it’s downright hilarious. From burrito accidents to a turtle wearing a suit you just do not know what is going to happen next. And I mean that very literally. I couldn’t even begin to guess what was going to happen next as each page turned to the next.
Killian is the sweetest guy. I mean he really is. And funny too. He puts up with Scarlett and all of her weird… and there is a whole lot of weird. It’s almost endearing in a way. And Scarlett is just the perfect character for the best romcom I’ve ever read. I don’t think I have ever laughed so hard at a book as I did this one. Especially the scene with the mouse. Straight up dying.
Dustin was prob my favorite little weirdo with his random facts and weird obsession with papers. I hope to see that kid find love one day.
Also Adrien. I want him to find love too.
Please RVD do us a solid and make books for them!
Also Addison is the literal worst and I would be so happy to have a little down the road scene where her entire life just falls apart because man she deserves it.
Anyways, read it. You’ll laugh. Then laugh again, and probably laugh some more. You definitely won’t regret it though.
Warning- do not drink any beverage while reading unless you want it to squirt from your nose.

Listened to audiobook. Felt the voice for Killian sounded a bit too old.
This was a quick listen, funny. Unfortunately I was hoping there would be a little bit more buildup of the relationship between the FMC and MMC but I guess if you consider this as an Insta love, it wasn’t my favorite in that sense. Yeah I’m gonna say her sister was an outright bitch, and shame on her parents. I kind of wished the author would’ve done an epilogue with a satisfying payback to her sister.
The side characters were darn funny, to me.

Rachel Van Dyken is back at it with a romcom!!

I stand by the fact that RVD can't do any trope wrong. Her writing is always a breeze to binge and I enjoy it everytime!

Exposing The Groom follows Scarlett and Killian. After a very memorable wedding, where Scarlett exposed her husband to be for cheating on her with her sister, she ends up asking Killian, her musican for the night to sing for her. And that is just where things start.

In true RVD fashion there is Chuck Norris, your easy to love turtle companion in the novel. A bunch of laughs, emotions and a full circle story, plus some good fun chaos.

I enjoyed the fact it was a simplistic read. If you're in the mood for something light and not too heavy to binge, than this is it. Sometimes we want a chill read and Rachel brought her A-game for it in 2023!

An ARC was provided in exchange for an honest review.

3.5 stars!!

Exposing the Groom was a super cute romance. I’m glad I read it.

Honestly, I’m normally not a huge fan of romcoms. Sad but true. I just don’t find them funny. Many feel forced and that’s not enjoyable to me. That being said, I enjoyed this one. The banter was fun but not over the top. I was invested from the very beginning. I was hoping things would work out and I wasn’t opposed to a few shenanigans along the way.

I was rooting for Killian and Scarlett from the beginning. I was heartbroken for a moment there but I kept reading and things turned around thankfully. Now I’m hoping we get more about Dustin and Adrian. Those two were fun and they need stories!

If you’re looking for a fun summer read to bring on your vacation, I would recommend this one.

exposing the groomExposing the Groom is a hilarious fake relationship story! One of my favorite RVD books is The Consequences of Loving Colton and this book gave me those vibes again. Just over the top funny! It is fast paced and a whole lot of craziness going on so you have to be on your toes to keep up.

Poor Scarlett finds out her fiancee is cheating and decides to expose him at the alter. Enter Killian, a rock star, who she runs into. They have great banter and the story provides them with endless antics and hilarity.

Honestly, the story is less about Scarlett and Killian and more about the craziness. I kind of loved that because it was refreshing. You know Scarlett and Killian will be fine and everything will work out, so you just get to enjoy the ride. That ride is so hilarious you will have to wipe tears of laughter away.

“He’ll never know all the goodbyes I rehearsed in my head, nor will he ever understand how hard it’s going to be. Stay or go. My heart says stay. My brain says run.”

When I was making my way through the first chapter I had no clue what I was in for. I almost didn’t continue due to it hitting a little to close to home. I’m so glad I put my faith in Rachel and read from cover to cover.

“Strange, how people who truly love you and value you give you strength you never knew you were lacking until that moment in time.”

This book is like no other…it was actually a refreshing twist on what I normally read…this would make a great movie (hint, hint ~wink, wink)!!! I was laughing out loud (thank goodness no one was around me while I was reading)…I cried…my heart broke…it mended…sensitive subjects are sprinkled throughout, but there was always hope…

Exposing the Groom is a charming, entertaining rom com with so many feels that I couldn’t help devour. Honestly the antics and banter were off the charts ridiculous but in an absolutely hilarious way. At certain moments I had tears of laughter!
I don’t know how the author came up with the storyline but I bow down to her sheer brilliance at writing a story that was just what I needed.
Sometimes all we need is a story that takes you far away from reality and lets you live in the fantasy for a while. This book was a highlight of my week and one my favourite reads this year.
Scarlett nails her roll as bride when she reads her cheating fiancees texts as her vows. Oh boy what a hoot. Needless to say she runs from what was supposed to be her wedding, to the kind arms of singer Killian. These two meet at inopportune times and their fighting words are gold. Go grab this book right now, it will be just what you need and then some.
I loved this book to bits, I highly recommend it!

Can I just say I love RVD? Her rom-coms always have me laughing out loud and this was no exception! The beginning of this book though- woah! I can’t even imagine how I’d feel facing the groom with such soul crushing information! Scarlett has some serious guts to react how she did which immediately makes this story one you can’t put down. I hated it for her but loved that she didn’t take it sitting down. Then there’s Killian. Who wouldn’t want a hot rockstar like him in your life, even if it starts off at the worst possible time in your life? Add in a crazy best friend of whom fans of RVD will recognize his extended family, and Killian’s hilarious assistant, Dustin, who is also related to a RVD character favorite and you have a laugh out loud hit! I loved this book and hope to see a future book for Adrian.

Great Quick Read

I ran across this book unexpectedly and I am so glad I took the time to read it. It was short and yet had so many feelings. No spoilers. But I loved the chemistry from both main characters and not only how they ran into each other but how they were both dealing with realistic damage. It was messy, it was funny, it was cute. All the things you want in a short read. We got the ow trope, second (third) chances, ex lover best friend, the quirky side cast, Chuck Norris, and the hilariously ridiculous family. Don’t give up on love the love of your life can be a heartbreak and one turtle purchase away!

3.5⭐️ Exposing the groom is a good summer/ beach read if you love rom-com’s and rockstars because Scarlett & Killian take us on quite a ride! I went through a rollercoaster of emotions as I read this story because I love Rom-Com’s but this one hits different. I wanted to strangle her sister and her lousy ex but that was the point and they deserve each other. Scarlett’s parents disappointed me and I wanted to shake some sense into them. I adored Adrian and really felt a connection between him & Scarlet. Can he be my best friend too? Dustin is something else and if he brought up that paper one more time. But it’s perfect about Max & I laughed out loud! Oh my gosh, when my man Chase was mentioned I swooned so hard. He gets so much heat but he’s fantastic in that Mafia way! IYKYK! I laughed, rolled my eyes, cussed, shook my head & said a prayer. Killian & Scarlett fix each others broken pieces and I liked them as a couple. I just didn’t love them. I wish we got more time with them without the craziness before the story ended.
Let’s just say Chuck Norris in a suit & everyone is going to want a turtle now! Exposing the Groom is chaos infused with secrets, heartbreak, unstable comedy & drama…..Who will kiss the bride?

RVD does it again. EXposing the Groom was amazing. I absolutely loved these characters. The story was perfectly written. The characters were all amazing, even the sister😐. I was laughing out loud 99% of the time. I loved Scarlett. She was hilarious and spunky. Killian was perfection. Their banter was great and their arguing the best. Dustin and Adrian were definitely my favorite. This whole book was absolute perfection. I had not read a Rom-Com this great in a while and I definitely need it

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐(I feel like this book deserves all the stars, not just 5)

Exposing the groom has it all. it's the best rom-com ive ever read. It's heartwarming, heartbreaking, romantic, and laugh out loud hilarious.
I've not laughed till my sides hurt in a long time.
From start to finish I savored every single word, i could not put it down, at one point I was laughing so hard I snorted ... and I'm not a snorter ( well, I wasn't until today)
Killian has a killer smirk and wikid humour.
Scarlett is sassy and fiesty with a beautiful soul.
There were many tears, and whether they were from laughter or heartache, I let them fall.
I loved absolutely everything about this book, even though at times I did feel like I wanted to throat punch someone. 🤣

It's by far my favourite book of 2023
I may just go back and read it all over again.

This book ranks at the top of the most hilarious books I've ever read!!!
Rachel van Dyken just knows how to torture your laughing muscles.
This story will leave you with more than a smile on your face and 100% wanting more.
It has the best easter eggs to some of her other great stories and you'll learn about the most important random facts you didn't even know you needed.
Killian and Scarlett are the best and their journey to each other is a total page turner!!!
Loved every single second of it!!! We need more books like this!!!

3.5 stars. This book was a little over the top! I loved Killian—I have a weakness for rockstars! Scarlet discovers before her wedding that her soon to be husband is cheating with her little sister. She leaves her wedding with Killian, the rockstar who is performing at her reception. Craziness ensues. Scarlet’s best friend is her ex boyfriend who becomes a priest after they split up. This is a quick, light read!

This romcom is one not to be missed. There were so many laugh out loud moments that had my family looking at me like I’d lost my mind. Scarlett and Killian were perfection and then you throw in Dustin and Adrian. Talk about hilarious cast. What I loved about this unputdownable story is the fact that there were so many different emotions aside from laughs. It is such a well-rounded book… one I couldn’t get enough of. This author never fails to amaze me with her words. She is such a multi-genre author, having hones her skill to the extreme. Her ability to pen different genres with ease blows my mind. A definite must read.
