"I love this series so much. Lana Hansen is a genuinely likable character who feels like someone I would be friends with in real life if, you know, she wasn’t fictional. Additionally, I get to travel vicariously in each book to new destinations that I will likely never see in person." - MeezCarrie Amazon review
Hi! I am an American expat currently living in Amsterdam. After traveling extensively around Asia, Oceania, and Central America, I moved to Darwin, Australia, before finally settling in the Netherlands. When not writing, you can find me in a museum, biking around Amsterdam, or enjoying a coffee along the canal while planning my next research trip.
My love of travel, art, and culture inspires my award-winning Zelda Richardson Art Mystery series, Travel Can Be Murder Cozy Mysteries, and Carmen De Luca Art Sleuth Mysteries.
What a different kind of story. You never hear anything about Iceland but it sounds like a beautiful place. Lana on a getaway from her problems and what happens another murder. She has decisions to make concerning her professional life and personal life and her best friend Willow flies over to help her out. Great characters and another great story line .
I just love this series and I found it deserved the highest rating you could get the people were great the stories were great and I would love to read more of her books from this series I would also like to know when I would be able to read them when she rides them and I recommend this series to anybody that likes murder and mystery
I love book sets. This was 7-9. Unfortunately there isn’t a 1-….yet. I am hoping for more. I love the traveling to different countries. I learn something in each book, and the are very entertaining.
I enjoyed books 7 and 8. Quirky but ok. Book 9 brought politics into it. As soon as I realized what was being written about I quit reading. I will not read anything from this author again.
One of the things Alderson does best is setting her mysteries in exotic locations and giving a travelogue about those locations during the book. This one takes place in Iceland.
Great descriptions of places! However, Lana is the worst sleuth! I can't believe she was an investigative reporter before being a tour guide as in each book as it is clearly obvious who the killer is yet Lana is clueless!
