To Be Loved
You never really appreciate what you have until it’s gone… or almost gone. For three years, Anya Kennedy-Moore and Kieran Moore have been married. On the outside looking in, Anya and Kieran were the perfect, successful couple. They had the money and the status. They were the true definition of “relationship-goals."
Once the cameras turned off and the public eye went to sleep, behind closed doors they both lived a different life. The love they portrayed was business and business only. 😍
To Be Loved was a great story. An arranged marriage between characters that were literally existing in each other’s lives. There was no relationship or love but a tragic event shakes things up. Keiran did more for Anya than she could ever imagine during her time of need. It was sweet getting to see both characters fall in love and give their marriage a fair shot. I enjoyed it.

This entire book fell flat for me. I understood and appreciated what could have been a great story but too many elements felt incomplete. The forced marriage, the toxic relationship with the parents,the ex lovers for both MC. I know it was a “short story” but the development fell too short. The editing was extremely problematic, multiple phrases and sentences reused or restated within paragraphs of one another, locations mixed up, seems like it should still be in progress.

I’m normally not an enemies to lovers fan but I enjoyed this. Kieran stepped up and was the husband he really wanted to be deep inside. I really really enjoyed his character. I love a good “don’t play with me wife” man.
Anya…stressed me out. I hate it took the circumstances for her to snap out of it and get her life together.

If love was a person...
It was a quote I saw from this book that just drew me in. And if it was ever a man that should have the book Bae title Kieran is he. The way Kieran loved Anya through the business arrangement, her lover's situation, and a near-death experience was admirable. He loved Anya and it showed through the words in this book. If love was a person then Kieran would be that person's name. I love how he took a stand against his father and Anya's mother. The mere fact he was still present as the husband and doing his husband's duties through it all spoke for the type of man he was. It is safe to say I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I could have read a few more chapters on Kieran and Anya's story. I would have loved to read Kieran as a father. A little girl would have had him wrapped around her fingers.
Ms. Wright, I am looking forward to the next masterpiece you release. I was highly betrothed with this book. And feel free to let us indulge in a story on James finding love. I am not a Mia fan because she was just doing entirely too much. However, for James, I am all in for a good relaxing read.

I am still laughing and shaking my head at this cray-cray crew!
Due to their super selfish parents, Anya and Kieran are locked in a "business - type" marriage. They live on opposite sides of their penthouse and seek their marital needs outside of the marriage with Mia and Marvin, two of the most ghetto hood rats ever!
One night, a hail of bullets just about costs them everything. Is this the wake up call they need or is it way too late?

When I started reading this book, I didn't know what to expect but I certainly wasn't expecting what happened. After the almost tragic incident involving her, I was glad Anya came to her senses and realized what she had in Kieran. I loved how protective he was of Anya despite the mistakes she made in the past. On the other hand, I couldn't stand her mother and the way she treated Anya. Once again, Kieran showed he had his wife's back when it came to her too. I laughed out loud when he threw both sets of parents out of his house. The banter between Anya and Kieran was also enjoyable and that allowed Kieran to show his true self. I enjoyed Ms. Lisa, who became a mother figure to Anya, and Kieran's mother who had no filter. This ended up being a very good story of forgiveness, love and healing that you should definitely read.

Mostly average, there are some parts of To Be Loved that I found to be good but most of it was so-so. The synopsis was interesting - a cold couple in an arranged marriage unites and things get spicy? I’m all in!! But something about Anya’s immaturity, Kieran’s weakness, and their hateful parents that really turned me off of the book. And don’t get me started on the side characters James, Mia, and Marvin. Plus the spicy scenes were boring.

Love is Blind
I was not sure I liked Anya at the start of the story. And then, for Kieran to let everyone steamroll his life, he also had my eyebrows elevated. I did not see what they would become until something unimaginable happened to Anya. The outside people in their marriage needed to step away. Marvin was a moocher, and Mia was like a rough rider who needed manners to get her life together. Anya's mom was wretched, and Kierra's mother was my bestie. Both dads were too aloof to matter. Overall this story was a good time.

I didn't know what to expect but Anya turned me off immediately and I wasn't sure I would finish this book. But when tragedy happens, the story turns course and becomes the catalyst for Kieran and Anya to actually see each other. This married couple only existed due to an arranged marriage; their overbearing and/or docile parents pulling their strings like puppets. Gradually the couple remove all outside forces and realize their marriage might work after all. Despite the characters' flaws, I liked the story line. Short, and to the point, this is worthy of a download.

Looking for love in all the wrong places
Anya had a good man who really loved her. That man was husband Kieran, but Anya was too busy running around with Marvin. It almost cost her life. Kieran helped her heal physically and mentally. With the help of her nurse. The nurse was so kind and loving. Kieran put his foot down with his overbearing mother in law and father. There were so many times I laughed and got mad because I wanted to slap some since in Anya. Good book.

Realistically, 3.5 stars. I wish the story was longer and more in depth, but the overall plot was pretty nice. I’m not sure if this is a novella or not, but it moved fast like a novella. I would’ve liked to know more of Anya and Kieran’s background story, from then and now. More of Anya and Marvin’s relationship. More of their dynamic with their parents. Great story, just fell a little short for me.

I absolutely loved this story. How often do we think the person who is with us do we think it is love. Someway along the years we discover it wasn’t love at all. Companionship does always mean that person loves us. Kieran and Anya loved each other they just did not realize it!

Unbelievable🤔🤔
I would give this 3 1/2 ⭐⭐⭐. You are married but you have your lover coming to the house you share with your husband. Crazy 😜😜😜. Guess who stood by his wife when she needed help. " HER HUSBAND " imagine that🙃🙃🙃🙃. Anya's mother was a trip she needed a kick in the behind, and Kieran's dad needed to get over himself😀😀. Glad they got there act together in the end.

This was a great read! The characters are great and the author did a good job with showing how some women love to be with bad boys when they have a good man to love them. She also showed how forgiveness is for everyone and therapy is a great way to heal.

Anya just knew she had it good with her boy toy Marvin rather than acknowledging her husband. It took a tragic moment for Anya’s world to be turned upside down and force her to open her eyes and her heart to the person whose been right there all along.

Anya mama was a piece of work! It’s sad that it took her husband trying to divorce her to be nice to her only child. I love Kieran mama! She’s my spirit animal! Finally glad Anya came to her senses!

Kieran for whatever reason, thought is was best to be obligated but never show his true devotion. Unfortunate circumstances caused him to finally uncover his true feelings. Anya had her own share of traumas starting with how her mother treated her. She sought comfort in the wrong direction. Kieran really came through in a major way. Mrs Keesha and Lisa were the female tribe that helped Anya get it together.
