There are some books that just grip your soul in a way that no other can.
THIS is one of these books.
Maybe it's because I absolutely love the prequel trilogy of The Haunted Roads and fell in love with the characters then, but there is a certain magic that India R. Adams brings with her writing. She creates characters with such depth, such intensity, that you cannot help but fall for them. What blows my mind is how she can make you fall in love with all the secondary characters as well and develop them just as effortlessly as the main ones.
India R. Adams' prose is the most unique I have ever encountered. I have NEVER come across someone who writes quite like her. She brings forth a profound understanding of life, of love, of hardship and tackles the hurdles of life, yet always has an undertone of hope, and of faith. Her style and unique twists on stories breaks through the noise and makes you remember her stories for years to come. I still remember reading steal me for the first time like it was yesterday even though it was 4 years ago. THAT is how powerful her storytelling is.
There is not a day that passes when I don't think about these characters. Maverick, Delilah, Art, Tucker, Viola... There is just no other word to use other than magic. It truly amazes me how this author can put together words that will make me break out in full body chills, and make my eyes tear up from simple passages.
If you are looking for a unique take on MC, and a character driven emotional read, I DEFINITELY recommend this book, as well as Adams' other MC books. I really wish I could give this book more than five stars.

This author absolutely slayed it yet again.
Normally I can't keep reviews short for her as I could wax lyricals about her for hours.
But this book was different. All her books are special but seeing the beloved teens all grown up and the atrocities that life still wants to throw at them was hard to read at times (in the very best way).
So many hidden truths were uncovered within this story (with so many more to come by the looks of it), your head will be spinning while your jaw grazes the floor. Hence the short and sweet review as I don't want to ruin a second, that and I'm still reeling from finishing.
Trust me when I say you'll be sent on more than one rollercoaster of emotions with no safety bar.
As usual highly recommend.

India give us a wonderful story full of emotions as we are used to in all her books. I couldn’t put it down!! The rollercoaster of emotions that India put me through!! I love this story! How the characters face all kind of situations that make them fall and into the dark. Also I love how they fight for redemption and overcome these situations because of their love ones!! This is how I love India’s books!! As through their history we can find real human beings fighting for them and their loved ones.

When people ask me to recommend an author who's stories consume every fiber of your body, consume every emotion you posses, India Adam's is that author. Once again, she wrote a story that consumed all of me. Every emotion Maverick and Delilah felt, I felt. Reading these characters was in a way healing for me. It showed me that no matter what people go through, if they fight, they will overcome. Maverick and Delilah fought to overcome so much to become who they are in this story. Meeting them as teenagers and watching them grow up through India's words was magical. I felt like I was catching up with old friends.
This book will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions. It made me laugh, cry and say a LOT of cuss words, but it also gave me an inner peace I was so desperately needing at this time.

Delilah & Maverick are looking forward to the future. She's finally managed to put the nightmares behind her and the hurt she suffered before meeting Maverick.
Maverick has loved Delilah forever and is hopeful she will feel able to confide her past to him.
However life is about to throw them some huge problems when a ghost from her past reappears and secrets are revealed.
This book absolutely blew me away, I loved reading the "Haunted Roads series " and this book expanded more on Maverick and Delilah story absolutely phenomenal book!
A must read.

This story brings a ton of emotions and the fight to survive once again full force. Updated content gives more insight with this couple and what may becoming soon.
With any book of India's you will get the raw, gritty, and dark parts but also she brings the light, promise, and the love. This book has been added to with a little more of Maverick and Delilah's story. So many twists and new information has been brought about in this added storyline.
This book does have dark themes and the struggles to live through a traumatic experience, but as always the author gives you the gut wrenching feelings of these characters and their happiness of triumphant moments. This story is gripping and intense and will definitely become one to remember after you hit the end. I love how it weaves dark and light moments throughout the story and has you glued and needing more as the story unfolds.
This is a book/series that you need to read. You will be completely consumed by each character and their struggles to overcome tragedies along the way.

If there is one thing India R Adams knows how to do, it’s to tug on your heart strings. Well, rip them to shreds is more like it. But not in the sob into your pillow kind of way, but to rub at your chest heart hurts kind of way.
This book is interconnected with the authors Hunted Roads three book series. It is said that you do not have to read the series prior to reading this book, however I probably would. I did not, and I found it hard to figure out who was who. There were a lot of characters immediately introduced into this book who weren’t really ‘introduced’ because of the prior series (I’m assuming). I found it difficult to follow along at times because of the overwhelming amount of characters thrown my way.
This book was filled with hardships and perseverance & I really enjoyed being along for that ride. Delilah’s character was a little hard for me to attach with, but again, I think I would’ve related more had I read the other series first. I instantly loved Maverick. He is your picture perfect idea of doting husband and doesn’t care who he lets see him as such. He’s strong, devoted, determined, and fights for those he loves.

This author always seems to circle around a profound understanding of love and life in a way you don’t see very often. The connections are deep and meaningful, no matter how dark and battered their pasts are. Her characters always have a small flicker of hope and keeps them moving forward. Saying her characters are ‘strong’ is an understatement.

This can be read as a stand-alone but would highly suggest reading the haunted road series first to make sure you get the full effect of the story!
India did it again in this absolutely gripping book, full of charged emotions, gut wrenching situations and a true story of redemption and working for what u want in life, loved this book it was beautifully written and gripped me from the start highly recommended!

There comes a time when you read a book well in this case BOOKS that make you feel a certain type of way. A feeling that can only be described as feeling everything, and I mean everything at once.
When I first picked up Maverick and Delilah story in the haunted roads series, I was completely floored with the authors ability to be able to give us such a raw, real and honest feeling throughout.
Going into this book, I have to say I had my guard up. A guard up around my heart as I know this author can tear it up real quickly but to say I was surprised was an undergarment. My heart didn’t break at all, yeah it hurt, and cried for the pain these characters continued to go through to get to their happily ever after but it was a bittersweet feeling knowing that they would eventually get there.
And eventually they did! I don’t want to say an awful lot about this book as this is a book you need to experience. It’s an experience that you will want and need to read and I can say that with all of me.
All of me loved these characters and I kept continuing to fall for them. When they hurt, I hurt. When they love, I love, when they go through unspeakable pain I go through that. This book was a journey and a half and it spoke to my soul.

Ahhh I loved visiting Mavy & Lilah again. Their romance is so intense and provides a really gripping read...every time without fault.
This book however was like a tie between all three of the Haunted Roads books. It was a mesh of all three stories and I couldn't get enough. I felt this book was less serious and was a little more of a lighter read in comparison to previous...especially with Scorch & Mavys bro-mance and Viola with Tuck...I was absolutely wetting myself with laughter.
With this read, came some real hard hitting moments for these couples. At one point, I didn't know if the person who lost everything would survive the loss of not only a career, but a hobby but I was over the moon with the ending. For once, I'm glad I predicted wrong. These couples are fierce and can handle anything life throws at them, especially when they are such a successful unit of people.
I'm so excited to see what India has next because I am dying for Art and his book.

Oh my, my, my! My heart he still! I will forever read anything by India! Her writing is so unique and filled with so much emotion that you don’t know whether you want to laugh or cry. A friend recommended Steal Me and I have been hooked ever since! I’ve been bingeing India so hard. These two tortured and fragile souls have a bond like I’ve never seen before!

OMG WHAT A RIDE !!!! This author I’ve come to the conclusion that she just doesn’t have it in her to write a story that won’t consume me from beginning till end! Her writing is just phenomenal her characters have so much depth and intensity this story was literally everything I’ve come to expect and love from a India R. Adams novel ! This gripping story took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions I was literally hanging off the edge of my seat so many twists and turns and much more to come! Can’t wait for the next book already!

Road To Absolution by India R. Adams is a MC romantic suspense. This is the first book in A Redemption Ryders MC series.
This is the third book of India's that I have read and it definitely won't be my last. She does an amazing job making me feel all the emotions that the characters are feeling. I really enjoyed getting Maverick and Delilah points of view throughout the book.
I can't wait for the next book in the series to be announced. In the mean time I am going to have to go read the Haunted Roads series since the characters overlap with this series.
I would recommend this book if you like motorcycle club romances or romantic suspense.

As usual, India continues to slay me. My intro into India’s world started with Maverick and Delilah and they will always hold a special place in my heart. They fought through horrors that would have devastated the best of us but the love and light they found in each other brought them through to the other side. Until it didn’t. Until life was not done with the trials and tribulations that this couple would face. Is it the devil on the shoulder that keeps bringing them to face down this evil or is it simply fate for what’s to come?
There were a couple of times while reading this story that I legit got scared for the outcome. This is not a happy-go-lucky story but the road to healing. It’s about facing your fears and making decisions that could affect not only your life but the ones you love. And the best part about that is Maverick and Lilah have one of the best support systems they could ask for. Anyone would be scared of big brother Tucker but add in V with all the Redemption Ryders and no one would dare to mess with them! They might be some bad bikers, but they know good people and loyalty when they see it.
This story took me through an emotional gambit. Heart pumping thrills, tears, utter defeat, devastation but also plenty of wit, humor, and good ol light and love. I know I could never be bored with anything that India puts out and just from the epilogue, I know we are in for another crazy journey, but I am here for all of it!

This author never disappoints to provide a riveting storyline with twists and turns that you definitely don’t see coming. The unpredictability is one of my favorite things about her books and then there are the fantastic characters.
Maverick and Delilah are the lead characters but there are so many more characters supporting them closely, it is truly a ‘village’ effort and one that you feel deep in your heart. Getting to know each one that little bit more feels like winning a prize, especially Diesel. Again, as the story unfolds, there are many changes within the characters and what they’ve experienced. And believe me—they have been through the wringer!
The mystery of who is behind the attempts on Maverick’s life and why is a real puzzle. Slowly, pieces slot in to form a fuzzy picture, where answers are given and you connect the dots thinking, ‘oh yeah!’ and it certainly is excitement plus but then there are some more questions too, which means more escaping into the world of the Redemption Ryders MC.
Although the gist of this story is very dark and serious there are some extremely hilarious moments that had me literally laughing out loud, I scared the cat a few times from my sudden bursts of laughter. 🤣 This wonderful sense of humor demonstrates the versatility of this brilliant author.
I look forward to reading the next book and can only recommend everyone take the opportunity to enjoy this book too.

Maverick and Delilah are the lead characters but there are so many more characters supporting them closely, it is truly a ‘village’ effort and one that you feel deep in your heart. Getting to know each one that little bit more feels like winning a prize, especially Diesel. Again, as the story unfolds, there are many changes within the characters and what they’ve experienced. And believe me—they have been through the wringer!
The mystery of who is behind the attempts on Maverick’s life and why is a real puzzle. Slowly, pieces slot in to form a fuzzy picture, where answers are given and you connect the dots thinking, ‘oh yeah!’ and it certainly is excitement plus but then there are some more questions too, which means more escaping into the world of the Redemption Ryders MC.

I went into this book without reading the trilogy that is Delilah and Maverick’s back-stories. I probably should have to understand everything they’ve been through and what got them to the place of love and marriage with each-other.
I’m definitely going to go back and read how these two amazing characters met.
So this book focuses on Delilah’s pregnancy and a huge life change for Maverick that ended up being completely out of his hands.
This is another emotional book from India R. Adams. We have to witness a dream being ripped away from someone who built this dream with his father who has since passed away.
And the horrific night that everything happened, it gave him some pretty severe PTSD. He has also learned more about Delilah than he thought he knew. And that brings a lot of emotions into play.
Delilah is Mavericks safety net. And reading this book when they are together got me crying almost every single time. Their love is pouring out of these pages for each other. They have an ongoing HEA but there’s also drama that can rip it away at any moment. This book has an HEA for now… But the epilogue is through the eyes of a side character and it absolutely leaves off on a cliffhanger. So if you hate cliffhangers, I would skip the epilogue until the next book is almost out. 😂
This book I believe can be read as a standalone but as someone who did NOT read Steal Me, Scar Me, and Bleed Me, I had no investment in any of the side characters or the main characters as well as many of the MC men. And I’m honestly kicking myself for it. So I will be racing back into time in this world and start with Steal Me. Because huge issues were revealed in this book from Delilah‘s past and I feel like it’s important for the reader to read what all of that was about with a specific side character that comes back…
That sounds totally cryptic i’m trying to do this without spoilers. So I would personally suggest reading Steal Me first. You don’t have to though.
As always with this author, this book was a five star rating for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Woah! This book had more twists and turns than a roller coaster. This is a story of true love on all counts. Yes this is Maverick and Deliah’s book but it is so much more. This story had unrequited love, friendship love, enduring love, brotherly love, forever love, abiding love, everlasting love, parent love and true love in all its forms. There are circumstances that are beyond imaginable and forgivable, yet Love is Love.
You find you will do for those you love things that go beyond your imagination. Such is this book.
If you’ve read any of the other books in this series (and you should) questions will be answered and like all the other stories by this author questions will arise! This author has a way of keeping us riveted and thinking, always thinking. This is not an easy book to read. It is not for the faint but it is certainly worth some of the terrifying situations.
I don’t do spoilers. I don’t think it’s fair to the author or the reader. You deserve to discover the story yourself.
If you’ve read the other books in this series you’ll be reacquainted with some of your favorite characters. I myself am looking forward to learning more about Art.

Whew! Well, I made it. I knew it was going to be a wild ride.
We met some of these characters through Saint's story and that told me a lot about the energy I would be greeted with. I knew that for every broken hearted moment there would be a happier one that would leave it forgotten. Every fissure, every wound opened, would heal.
It made forcing myself to read the sad and scary parts worth every tear and goosebump. These are characters that drag you in just like you're one of the family. You don't feel at all like an outsider. That makes the emotions so impactful. You FEEL these books, no other option. It's an experience. Full body.
This book in particular is about overcoming inner demons and the fire they hail from. Somewhat literally. It's about the following smoke that engulfs everything around it and having to work together to get out of it. It's about snuffing out a dark flame to replace it with one that ignites damaged hearts and brings them to beat again.
It's about absolution.
And it couldn't be more on point.

A different type of story than I’ve grown accustom to by this author but, nonetheless was an interesting read full of hardships and obstacles in life. The love throughout was felt in my bones, along with never giving up or backing down.
Just keep fighting for me
Delilah was such a damaged character, broken from her past struggling through life. Until she meets Maverick and falls head over heels, lighting her path out of the darkness that follows.
For you I always will
Maverick is strong, determined, and fights for the one he loves. Discovering who he was meant to be throughout this journey was a difficult road traveled. And learning not to blame himself was even harder.
Scarred. Irrevocably marked. Seared. Someone leaving such a fingerprint on your soul… that you have forever been labeled his.
Their connection was overpowering and strong, making it that much more difficult to watch the circumstances unfold. The desire for one another, the passion felt through the pages, was enough to fill my heart completely.

I always know when I am about to read an India R Adams book that I need a survival kit that includes a lot of tissue. Maverick and Delilah's story was so special to me with all that she has gone through she was just finding her HEA.
I felt like I could feel all of the emotions throughout this story as India has a fantastic ability to pull you into a book and almost feel like you are a part of it. Also the meshing of one book to another and seeing so many cameo's is something I absolutely love in reading.
I also has some good laughs when needed so that helped me get through it so it is not all sadness. I will have to remember a very vivid picture of what is it is like to give birth!! I nearly fell over laughing so hard!!! Vixen is my hero for that one!!!!!!

All the feels !!!
Wow this book has do many feels in it and damn some parts that damn near break your heart. The story of Maverick and Delilah is so bittersweet, the love they have for each other is so forever lasting, they have the bumps in the road like everyone but they get through it with the strength of each other. I love how all the characters are close and know how to forgive and carry on with life when secrets that hurt come out. Getting to know other characters in the book makes a story so much more and I really want more of Viola and Tucker because damn they have good banter..

This book has all the feels.
Want you heart ripped out and want to sob like a baby ? Then this book is just what you need.
Now I will preface by saying I had not read The Haunted Road Trilogy. Not that it actually matters - you can still read this as a stand-alone. Will I be going back and reading them ? Definitely.
Maverick has it all… until one night changes his life irrevocably. Death came for him and he was saved by a “ghost” from the past. What begins is the fight of his life.
The story of Maverick and Deliah is intense, it’s heartbreaking and it’s real. This author has a way of really engaging the emotions of her readers and you just can’t help but root for the characters.
I’m not going to say much more. Just enjoy the emotional magic that is this book.

India R. Adams really knows how to punch you in the gut so hard with love there is no way to escape it. I have read one of her books before and it hit just as hard. Maverick and Deliliah love so deeply it really is beautiful. There are some serious hardships but as you read you know in your heart that things have to work out because there is no one who deserves it more. I wish I had read the Haunted Road series before this though, it took me a little bit to get into the dynamic of the couple and their friends but it did not hinder my enjoyment of the book. Now I am going to have to go back and binge!

This book was an emotional roller coaster. Mavericks love for Delilah was so pure and strong. When a character says they would do anything for the person they love that’s definitely how Maverick is with Delilah. Not going to lie a lot of parts had me tearing up. The things Maverick and Delilah have gone through and currently go through while fighting for their love definitely gutted me on some parts. I would recommend reading the series before this, starting with Steal me. There are side characters that really don’t get a detailed introduction so it might help reading those first to have a better insight.

There are characters that you read that stick with you. While this is a first in the series there is a trilogy that contains backstories for these characters. From that trilogy, my heart has had a place for all these characters and I think about them on occasion. Seeing the next chapter in their life is everything. My love for these characters keep growing and this book gutted me! Absolutely played on every emotion that you could possible have while reading a book. There aren’t words to describe the soul invading goodness that you will find in this story. Tragically beautiful.

I really enjoyed Lilah and Maverick’s story. This author does not shy away from difficult situations. That’s one reason why I like her. There’s more of a connection with the characters. There were so many moving parts in this story, so many emotions. I love these two characters but I so love Diesel and Scorch. There were so many surprises in this story that I didn’t see coming. I love the baby’s name and ultimately Maverick’s name. Highly recommend this book. So very good.

Gut.wrenching.story. I am still trying to figure out and make sense of all that happened. Maverick, Lilah, Tucker, Viola, and all the family that love them, are all exceptional characters in this book. It’s an emotional journey filled with traumatic experiences, healing, redemption. Fantastic read
India R Adams always blows me away with deeply emotional reads. The characters are one's you fall in love with and feel what they feel. I adore Maverick and Delilah....they are a sweet couple who utterly adore one another. The host of other characters are also excellent and I hope to get to know them more in future books. Fantastic read.
