2.5 Nowhere near as good as I'd hoped. Any half decent cook will have the bulk of these recipes already sorted and won't want to tinker with what they already do. It's very basic - do we really need to be told how to make scrambled eggs or roast potatoes. And I'd never add a green pepper to prawn cocktail. I'd only recommend for a very novice cook - although a novice would do far better starting off with Jamie Oliver's Ministry of Food.
