I liked this book because there were courses in the jungle. It was so crazy and super cool. My favourite character in this book as Penelope and dr shrinkfur because both of them were really funny and wacky. The part I didn't like in this book as they did not get Bruce hyena in this book. bruce hyena is the best an would have made this book a lot better as he is an adventurous mouse. he would have loved to join in this adventure and he is also my favourite character. I think the funniest part was when tubby fell in the river. I was laughing really hard. I wouldn't say it was a very bad book but I guess its good. I really wish that they could write another version of this book with bruce hyena in it.

That book was a pretty interesting book because Geronimo Stilton goes on a adventure which sounds like a good idea at the time, but it WAS NOT!!!!! He goes to jungle, he starts to get scared because he has to sleep outside with the bugs and bats.

Cute story about facing your fears!

Geronimo is tricked into signing up for a boot camp to overcome his fears (such a timid mouse). Alongside 3 other mice, he learns to toughen up deep in the jungle.

A great, quick read for anyone who is looking for a motivating story or a palate cleaner after a more intense book.

Not usually bothering to comment as my daughter and I are reading through the series and they're very consistent, but can anyone tell me why the title says Four Mice when there are clearly six mice in the jungle?

I was doing my best to read this in one sitting yesterday to complete one of the two books I had planned to read in order to finish my reading challenge for 2020 but other things got in the way such as exchanging certain items of clothing, buying bookmarks and spending time with my family it being the end of the year and all. I was very close to finishing it with about 30 pages left but I prioritised my family and mulled wine over reading as one should. Now, this is officially my first read of 2020 and I can't say I'm disappointed because this book hit me right in the feels. It's such a nostalgic book because I remember it being the book that got me into reading in the first place and I even spent a time not capable of understanding that I should read books by different authors, thinking that Geronimo Stilton was the only author worth reading and him not even being the actual author which is rather ironic hahaha. The second book I wished to finish reading yesterday was a monk's guide to a clean house and mind.

I think that that's enough rambling for one review so I'm going to start by sharing my actual thoughts regarding the book and then mentioning what it's about in a brief and concise manner which will be a rather difficult challenge. I enjoyed reading this book and was sad when it was over although expected. I only gave it 3 stars (not implying that 3 stars is bad in any way by the way) because I read so many great books over the years and to be honest it would be quite unfair if I had to give this one 5 stars because of the nostalgia. However, it is written brilliantly and in the usual fun way it's written in, with all the various fonts, sizes and colours and the matching illustrations. At one point, the pictures weren't in sync with the story and were just a page or 2 behind but that still kind of annoyed me a bit. I look forward to reading more Geronimo books this year and there's nothing to be ashamed of just because it's a book aimed towards children It was short and sweet and certainly a great way to both end a year and start a fresh one with. It's about when Geronimo became aware that his fears were preventing him from doing even what he loves, writing and publishing books and therefore seeks the help of a psychiatrist. The latter tells him to face his fears and we later found out that he'd told Geronimo's family about a certain Penelope Poisonfur who takes Geronimo and a few other mice to the jungle after seducing/tricking him into signing a formula that said that if he didn't do whatever she said for a week he'd have to pay 1 million dollars and our protagonist certainly didn't have that amount of money. She was blackmailing him into exercising and facing his fears not to mention teaching him first aid and certain tricks and tips regarding how to use a compass and survive in the wild. Come to think of it, he didn't really learn how to use a compass, only how to climb a tree and facing his fear of heights in said case. He made many new friends and saved 2 of them. I enjoyed how it was split into 7 days of the week detailing what happened each day. It was also quite awesome how the activities were never boring or repetitive. The irony in certain points was also hilarious and made me smile since I don't laugh for silly reasons any more, my life is too pointless to be that enjoyable. One such example is when Geronimo was swinging a poisonous snake atop his head and didn't realise that it was venomous...

At certain points, the book did become slightly drastic which is something I might have overlooked when I was younger but the them of Geronimo being killed or dying is explored more than once and that's slightly creepy but still is somehow made to sound wholesome. The undertones are not so sincere hahaha, relax. That's all I have to say regarding this book and I truly wish whoever reads these a Happy New Year 2021, you truly deserve it after devastating 2020. I also understand that this is not a blog but there isn't much more to say about this slim 110 paged book. I plan on finishing a monk's guide to a clean house and mind, paper towns or a monster calls next since I made a new year's resolution where I won't be reading multiple books I've already started at the same time if they're in the same genre and plan on finishing one prior to starting the next. For all I know I might finish reading all of them by the end of the week...

remember when I was going to read Proust this year?

this compares, in a way. The first book in this series was seriously bad, but I really enjoyed this one in particular. I think I'm going to be bingeing the whole series, so get ready to see a whole lot of me gushing over this materialist protagonist who constantly gets separated from his creature comforts (does anything describe my life more?).

Four Mice Deep In The Jungle. This book honestly made the top of my favorites list. It had so many twists and turns, almost throwing me out of my couch reading it. I expected this book to be a stupid children’s book but it ended up winning my heart.

This book chose wording that really felt personal. The plot and main characters are just divine. The way the author words all the sentences makes me feel bad for the main character. The book is relatable in every way possible and really just shows what everyone can go through at some point. This author is one of my new favorite authors because of this series. While reading this book, I felt as if I was with Geronimo and his new friends in the petrified jungle.

In this book, Geronimo is so terrified of everything around him he can’t even leave his own house. He ends up going to this hilarious therapist that has a little lisp. The author adds words that make it feel as if you are in that therapy room with him hearing the little sound Dr. Stinkfur makes. The therapist tells Geronimo the only way to get over his anxiety and fear is to face them. Geronimo disagrees and wants to just go on vacation instead. His family tells him he is going on vacation and they meet this beautiful mouse. I could just see this beautiful mouse lady in my mind while reading this book. Later, when Geronimo is in the jungle he is forced to face so many fears. While reading this book, I could just imagine all the feelings he was going through as he was watching P.P. handle the creatures he feared most. He has to direct him and a “forest ranger” through the jungle and ends up handling a poisonous snake by accident.

In this book, the reoccurring theme seems to be fear. Throughout the book, Geronimo is “ill” and “sick” because his fears controlled his mind. The author uses words like afraid, trembled, terrified, fear, anxious, and uses descriptive words to help the reader understand what Geronimo is going through. The theme revolves around fears and how the only “cure” is through facing them.

In the jungle, Geronimo is forced to face his top fears along with scary situations that he would never have dealt with in his mousehole in the city. Geronimo also learns to make new friends and ends up saving them as well. He has to save Tubby from drowning and save Burt from being lost in the dark jungle. The jungle was a healing process for Tubby and Geronimo and they learned to do stuff on their own. The setting change from the city to the jungle is a dramatic change. The city is loud, full of cats, and has Geronimo’s job. The jungle on the other hand is scary, dark, unknown, and full of scary creatures waiting for them.

I personally fell in love with this book. It has colored illustrations and words that keep me engaged the whole time while reading. This book gives an idea of what people with severe anxiety go through every day. It also helps illustrate how to get over what we fear the most. The illustrations also give the book humor as well the word choice the author uses. This book really gets you questioning if you should go to the jungle yourself and face your own fears.

I would recommend this book to people who enjoy reading short stories with a meaningful theme behind it. I would not recommend this book to people who enjoy reading long stories for a month or so at a time. You can read through this book pretty fast and I know that frustrates some readers but for me, it was very enjoyable. It kept me questioning what would happen next the whole time. And the beginning brings such a good plot twist and the book ends with another plot twist. This book was honestly so enjoyable to read and it didn’t disappoint at any part.

Elisabetta Dami wrote the book Four Mice Deep in the Jungle. The main characters are Geronimo Stilton and P.P., who are both rodents. The book's message is to tell the readers to face their fears and overcome them because, in the book, Geronimo Stilton is scared of everything. However, since he is brought to a camp in Egypt, he faces his fears in the camp and overcomes them. My favorite part of this book is when Geronimo Stilton was sent to the airport without any notice because it made me think of what he would do to P.P. for turning her into his new friend by talking to her throughout the flight. I like this book because the author uses a variety of vocabulary and turns important words into other vibrant colors. In particular, I learned "psychiatrist" which means a doctor for emotions. Even though the book is great, overall, the setting of it is too terrible because it is far from the airport and the environment is poor. I recommend this book to people who like to read about adventures. I will read more of this series because Dami uses sophisticated words and great grammar to help me improve my English. I rate this book 4.8 because some parts are too boring and make me not want to continue reading or skip that part.

5 -Geronimo is a fraidy mouse and needs to face his fears -stars

"Each of us must confront our own fears, must come face to face with them. How we handle our fears will determine where we go with the rest of our lives. To experience adventure or to be limited by the fear of it."

Geronimo has always been a fraidy mouse: from the fear of flying to the fear of small bugs. Suddenly, it has become that he is afraid of everything! He never leaves his house now! He thinks that everything is out to get him and does not know why he has become so fearful! His family is now worried about him and tricks him by sending him to a boot camp to get rid of his fears in the middle of the jungle. Now left alone with a group of people who are in the same boat and has to learn to face his fear by helping his friends with their fears. Will he get over his fear or be afraid of his own shadow for the rest of his mousey life?

This was a really cute short story to read! I was waiting for a couple of books that I placed on hold in the library, so I thought I should relive the stories that I read during my childhood. This was a really interesting plot about how Geronimo suddenly become afraid of everything and assume anything can kill him! I like how this book promotes friendship and no matter what makes you scared, if you have great friends to get you through it then you have nothing to be afraid of! I cannot wait to read the rest of the series and see what other adventures are in store for Geronimo.

this book is full of survival with other mates of his mountain climbing course with a strict teacher named p.p(Penelope poisonfur) it all start with sudden fear to everything with Geronimo of spiders, isolated room, etc. then his cousins and Benjamin went to a secret place which others knew but not him, the ratty trap jungle with all the thing which he doesn't like. 7 days of course with amazing new friends was very good eating insect burgers, soup and all other. and p.p became one very important mouse to Geronimo and last part of survival was spinning a snake around and by mistake Geronimo took a very dangerous snake. and this was very good part. and last thing was that he wants to take p.p for a dinner until she never orders bugs, or other insects.

We read this as a family read aloud before and supper in one night. It’s so engaging, and had the little kids and the teens (and me, Mom) laughing several times. Every pause we took the kids were asking each other who was their favorite character. Each of us had relatable and likeable characters to discuss. This is book #5 in a series and all of the kids begged for the rest of the series when we finished. One child did urge me to only give it 4 1/2 ⭐️ because it has the “hate” word in it, but I definitely approved of this book for my children. (It does mention Halloween, but not in a glorified way, just describing how scary something was in comparison to Halloween.

This book is different from other books. I like how even if its a chapter book the author and editor made it fun and enjoyable to read. The words have word art so when your reading you can feel the tone of the story! This story is about how Geronimo who is a mouse is afraid and his friends try helping him get read of that fear. I just really like all the colors and different things going on with the words.

I loved everything about the book. This one will forever be my favourite book in the Geronimo Stilton series. I loved the change in how they use the funny fonts and incorporate them to be a part of the main paragraphs rather than just repeat things that had already been written, as was done in the previous books. I loved the characters and the plot, despite the phobia-curing course being a bit iffy. Can't wait to hopefully come across these characters in future books!

Thea and Trap think that the only way to cure Geronimo of his many fears is to send him out into the middle of the jungles, leaving him to fend for himself! Dami returns with more laughs, heart and lots of charm in this exciting entry to the "Geronimo Stilton" series. Make sure you have no snakes underfoot as you read along on this fun adventure!

In this adventure, Geronimo confessed that he has several somewhat irrational fears and his family tries to help him face them. As someone who, admitting, has a couple irrational fears, I identified with Geronimo a lot and wasn’t too fond of the way his family treated him. But, it all works out in the end, as per usual.

"Four Mice Deep in the Jungle" is a good book for younger kids. I am in 8th grade and it was too easy for me. Maybe if I was i 2nd or 3rd grade, I would probably like it. I wouldn't really recommend this to any of my friends.
