Easton/Mr. Boston & Drake/Love
The first part is strictly in Easton's POV. He's one of 3 founders of the app for hooking up called Hooked. He matches 100% with Saaralove, which is unheard of. They meet up, and hook up, but they're both wearing masks so they have no clue what each other looks like. They text back and forth for a while, but never get the chance to meet up again. Until we flash forward 5 1/2 years and they're in each other's lives again, but neither knows who the other is.

I've got another book boyfriend to add to my list! Easton was perfect from beginning to end. A sweet, caring alpha that'll sizzle your socks right off.

I didn't love Drake at first, but I easily warmed up to her as her story unfolded and the reasoning for earlier things became clear.

There is a conflict, but can I get a whoop whoop for no 3rd act breakup? So refreshing! And what Easton did to resolve the conflict was everything.

Overall, a wonderful start to a new series. I can already see how Holden and Grayson's stories are going to be just as great!

Not my favourite Marni Mann book 🤷‍♀️ I just couldn’t get into the story and it took me ages to get through. I still enjoy Marni’s writing, but sometimes her character dialogue and choices seems unrealistic.

This has the tropes to entice me, but was unfortunately underwhelming.

FMC and MMC are matched in a dating app, immediately connect, but after one fifteen minute bang session and weeks of messaging, FMC disappears. Five years go by and the MMC's latest hire for his company seems oddly familiar. Gasp, it's the woman he matched with years ago who's lived rent free in his brain since. This is a billionaire, workplace, secondchance romance between the CEO of the company and his employee.

I like the set up, but I found the writing and dialogue to be awkward and cringey. I wanted more relationship development to really sell me on the two of them. They're a 100% match from the app, but without showing me why, it felt like an arbitrary detail. I appreciate that the main conflict in this didn't instill doubt into their relationship, but this book was uneventful and boring.

I really loved every book that I've read so far from Marni Mann. She's one of my favorite authors! ❤️

Easton and his friends are the founders of an app called Hooked and that's where he anonymously met a girl. They matched with a compatibility score of 100% and wanted to explore their connection further.

After a while, they met up on a masked ball and had an one-night stand. After that, she disappeared and changed her number. Now, 5 years they see each other again because he is her new boss..

I have been reading this book for a month now and from the very beginning I have a dilemma whether it is finished or not. The book consists of two parts. The first part was boring to me and I wanted to give up. Somehow I forced myself to continue and we come to the second part, which was much more interesting to me.

Three friends created a dating app and Easton, one of them, finds his match. They feel an incredible connection, but Love aka Drake breaks all contact when she logs out of the app and changes her phone number. After five years, they meet again when she starts working in their company.

This is a classic cliché story where you can predict the whole action and the end. I can't say it's bad, but it's not good either. I have already read several stories by this author and I know that she has a very nice writing style. This book left me indifferent and that's why my rating is what it is.

I loved that there wasn't any drama or messy breakup in the end. When the two secret ex-lovers – Mr. Boston (Easton) and Love (Drake) – met again after years, they handled it like mature adults. This book is a perfect example of why I need to read more contemporary romance. I always enjoy them it just hasn't been something I've done until this year. But this book is so good, I enjoyed it so much.

Easton and Drake were so freaking cute together. Their chemistry was off the charts and the banter between them simply adorable.

I really loved how much of Easton's pov we got. In fact the entire first half is only from his perspective.

What I loved even more was that there was no 3rd act breakup. There was 3rd act drama but Easton and Drake faced it together. I felt like that was so refreshing. I feel like sometimes it can be a bit predictable and sometime the reason for the breakup can be downright stupid, especially if it's a misunderstanding.

I've seen a lot of love for Marni Mann and I totally see why. I will be reading more by her in the future.

I'm so excited for this new series!

After Easton and Drake get a 100% match on a "hook-up" app, their chemistry is genuine and instant, creating a fiery pairing that burns hot until Drake shuts it down.

Getting to witness the bromance between Easton and his business partners was highly entertaining, right along with Drake and her bestie Saara. The characters are worth reading this book, and the storyline only makes it that much better.

Mr. Hook-up gives off strong You've Got Mail vibes, so prepare yourself for masked trysts, but the secrets are dragged out, which I greatly appreciated.

Diving into the worlds of Marni Mann is always a delight, especially when it's tied to her previous books, although it's not necessary to have read them first.

Mr. Hook-up is the first book in Marni's new Hooked series, and if you enjoy one dirty talking, sexy as sin hottie, then you definitely need to read this book!!

This read had it all, office romance..... check, forced proximity..... check, second chance romance..... check, forbidden..... check, billionaire....... check and sexy times that were nothing but explosive!! Easton and Drake aka Love were perfection, from their first meet to every one after that, I just couldn't get enough.

“You know, one of the best parts about tonight is that it doesn’t have to end. Instead of going home, feeling alone, I get to wake up in the morning and kiss you again.”

The friendships between Drake, Greyson, and Holden had me smiling and laughing with the witty banter between them all. As for Saara and Drake, they may have been bestfriends, but that bond ran deep, and I loved that! If you get the chance to grab this one, I highly recommend reading. Looking forward to the next book!

Easton Jones and his two best friends created an app called Hooked. This app is made for hook ups and anonymity. Easton ends up matching 100% with someone. A percentage that is unheard of. After chatting and messaging via the app they decide to meet at the masquerade ball Hooked was hosting. The connection between them was instantly strong. Due to there crazy schedules they weren’t able to hook up again. She ended up ghosting him.

Five and half years later Hooked has become the number one dating app. In walks Drake Madden the newest recruit at Hooked. When Easton meets her he instantly feels a draw to her. A passion that hasn’t happen since his match. Excited about these feelings he gets knocked off kilter when his match reappears. How will Easton handle the new girl in his life and his fantasy girl from his past? Who will he choose?

Now… ladies Easton Jones has a swagger and amazing BDE. When he turns on that panty melting charm, he will have you running to the shower. Drake is amazing. She is smart, witty, and bad ass. Love is exactly the same way. The chemistry he has with both women is off the charts. Body, mind, and soul. I’m so excited for the rest of the series.

I had so many high hopes for this novel, like a workplace, second-chance romance where the MMC creates an app where he anonymously meets the FMC and they match with a compatibility score of 100% but then she suddenly disappears. Then, five years later, they cross paths again when she starts working for him? Sounds good, right?

WELL, everything was so fast-paced. This novel consists in two parts: the first one was hasty and I Love annoyed the hell out of me. Why would she start every single conversation with “Hiiiiii”, please shut up! Besides, they had been texting for a week and he was already head over heels for her?

And the second part was basically them having sex all the damn time, anywhere.

I also really wanted more drama when he finds out that Drake and Love are the same person because for a man who is described as a womaniser, he’s a softie.

May I add that the drama at nearly the end was so unexpected and out of place.

I just couldn’t connect with the characters at all. I’m just going to blame that maybe the author’s writing might not be for me, sorry.

Also, as a Spanish person, that is NOT how paella is made 💀.

If you are looking for a super spicy boss employee romance look not far. Mr. Hook up by Marni man is it For Drake and Eastern are completely fire together. This book was so hot that it was making me sweat and my Kindle was melting .This also had a nice balance of emotions but I would say the chemistry and the hotness is the selling point of this book.

So it all started when Eastern started a hook up app in the final year of their Harvard study with his friends for people who do not have time to date. But ronically on the 1st day, he is mstched 100% with a stranger and they feel an instant connection.Unfortunately SarasLove or LOVE was also a final year grad student and she was very busy with her studies and hard part-time job . So they had only chance of a masked sexy encounter and then she slowly disappeared from his life. They had no personal information about each other .Eastern thought he was in love and he never fall for a serious relationship again. But now years have passed and Hooked is one of the most successful dating app in the USA and they are thinking of expansion and for that they have to hire a new director. So entertains Drake .From the 1st day they lik3 they know each other for a long time.
It took few days for them to realise that they are actually Mr. Boston land SarasLove from the app all those years ago. Easton has to convince Drakw that they are not a mistake even though they are working together .Will Drake give him much second chance because it's clear that she has Feeling for Easton too.

I feel this book was a bit fast-paced with lots of hot and heavy scenes even the dialogues and conversations between Easton and Drake are all about Sexual feelings and chemistry. it's true that you can also see that slowly developing emotional connection . Both were studying In competitive programs and they didn't have much time but even with the lack of time they had a genuine connection that lingered for years and so when they reconnected it was very easy too Reignite their passion. I feel the emotional part was lacking in the story . Easton is a gorgeous charming alpha hero. I loved him so much because he was so sincere and real about his feelings .he was very clear that he is in love with Drake aka Love. Drake left him broken hearted all those years ago ,even after that he Never tries to play any kind of games with Drake. Sne is a sassy and feisty Woman. I admire how confident and takentrd she is and how she achieved success in a very man dominated industry.She was dealing with a lot when she first met Easton. The death of her mother,the extreme workload in hard job... everything made her close off and shut down and run away .But it's very clear that she never met anyone so caring so nice so enigmatic like Easton in her life again and he'd definitely left a mark on her heart. it felt like their chemistry never disappeared and they started from the 1st day of the past. Again I would have loved to see a bit more of the emotional or forbidden or angsty part of this story . Overall it was steamy & sometimes emotional contemporary romance

Mr. Hook-up had me ‘hooked’ since the first line.

You can see the glimpses of The Hooked characters in The Bachelor from The Dalton series. The hooked series revolves around three friends: Easton, Holden and Grayson who founded a hook-up app together called Hooked. This book focuses on Easton’s story.

To sum up the story whilst avoiding spoilers I'd say; Easton Jones (user: Mr. Boston) and user: Saaraslove who's also called as ‘Love’ find themselves to be a 100% match on the app. Which is pretty rare. They connect, they talk, they sorta meet, they don't exchange names, life happens and they lose contact. Right person, wrong time sort of thingy.

Five years down the road,
Enter: Drake Madden, Hooked’s newly recruited director who makes Easton FEEL.
Enter: Love who's now apologetic and wants to make up for ghosting Easton.

This book was truly and utterly enjoyable. It's just so refreshing to read characters that communicate like actual adults. This is my second time reading a Marni Mann book and I wasn't disappointed as I was when I read the Lawyer (the guy was a bit over the top with his sexual descriptions about the fmcs body which made his character kinda unflattering.) I could say that problem doesn't occurs in this book but then I'd be lying. It's a bit toned down so it can be overlooked.

I loved how fast paced this book was. A classic second chance office romance with a tinge of angst. The across the office eye contact, the stolen touches and kisses when no one is looking. I loved the relatable and lovable characters. The found family trope, how each of the guys have each other's back and the over-all setting of this book. I have a feeling book two is gonna be as good as this one.

"Mr. Hook-up" by Marni Mann feels like a thinly veiled excuse to write a book that's 65-75% s3x scenes... not that I'm entirely complaining. *wink* This is my first read from Marni Mann, and I am definitely going to read more of her books in the future. That being said, while the spicy scenes are really, really good, I found this story to be a little lacking in terms of emotionality. It all felt pretty... superficial to me. I never thought I would see the day when there were too many spicy scenes in a book... but here we are. I would have liked to see a bit more connection between the main characters Drake and Easton, not just a bunch of excuses to get them together to do the dirty. The plot is scant. Sparks fly between them in the beginning, but wanes as a the book rolls along. I love a good forced proximity, alpha, billionaire MMC second chance story, so this did enough for me to enjoy it overall. Still, I did find this to be a very fast read, and it kept me reasonably engaged from start to finish. Can't wait to see where this series goes next!

I love nothing more than a new Marni Mann book. she always brings the heat and an addictive story. this one starts off with a bang and Easton meets Drake on his app call. it's instant chemistry between them and instead of wanting to only hook-up Easton is wanting to see if there is more. the only problem is, he doesn't know who she actually is. her user name is SarasLove and when they meet they are masked. Drake is finishing up college and then ends up leaving Boston & leaving Easton. then we fast forward 5 years later and guess who is interviewing to work at his company. at first he doesn't know that it is her, but she knows. eventually she tells him and they cannot stay away from each other. this book had me blushing, there is something about the spice in a Marni book that has me weak. the best word that I have for this book is explosive. I enjoyed the friendship between Drake, Greyson, and Holden. so many times their banter made me laugh. I loved this book so much and cannot wait for the next one. & as always, I am so freaking proud of my girl Marni!

My first Marni Mann book! I've seen her books on bookstagram, but this is the first chance I'm having to pick up a book. I will say... I really enjoyed this one!

I listened to this on Audible, and I will say, the main male narrator wasn't my fave to narrator for Drake, but I liked the female narrator enough for Drake!

I REALLY liked the concept of this story. Three friends founded an app called Hooked, and one of the main founders, Easton, got a 100% match, which is unheard of. He ends up meeting and hooking up with his match, but matters drag them apart.

Five years later, they reconnect. Their connection is strong and their chemistry is fire. I loved all the side characters and the adventures of running a successful app, challenging the market, and widening the scope. I liked all the business talk and the way Easton and Drake ended up working together.

I would definitely go back and read the rest of this series! I liked all of Easton's friends and Drake's bestie, and would love to see their HEAs in future stories!

Easton and his friends created an app to help them hook up without all the fuss. When he matches someone who is an, almost impossible, 100% match he is eager to see if their online banter translates into real life chemistry.

I have read, and enjoyed, books by Mann in the past (there is even a cameo from the Dalton Brothers series) so I was eager to start this book. She didn’t disappoint.
There was plenty of spice and you were dragged along with them as they pined for each other over the years. Their chemistry was good and I’m guessing/hoping that there is going to be more books with the other members of the company, which I will eagerly read.

Wow, wow, wow. Marni Mann did it again and bring me with her and this new book. This is only my second book writing by her but I'm ready to dive in her backlist, becasue this one was absolutely great.

I would have loved to read so much more of them, I mean, I couldn't get enough of them.

Drake and Easton were just incredibly perfect. They have this strong, pull, connection, chemistry between them. It was like two magnets who were attracted to one another.

My heart fluttered more and more in my chest while I read their story, I really was so into deep with them and I freaking loved that feeling.

It was sensual, passionate and what they shared was something so beautiful, so powerful.

I totally recommend it. Prepared yourself to fall in love with Drake, but mostly Easton ♥.
