Another reviewer said: 'The first volume was pretty gruesome and dark, and this is just action-packed and kind of dull', I totally agree and it was kinda disappointing, considering that the first volume was going in different genres and topics than this one.

The art style was still cool as always, in particular I liked the sometimes darker shaded ones! And the new characters were interesting to get to know and Rwanda not having a weak mindset and not being able to get manipulated by Midwinter was very good. I would have hated it if he just submitted to him, but luckily he didn't and he has great willpower. Keep going Rwanda!

The art style of this series is so beautiful and the characters have been interesting so far, however I feel that the author is disorganized with the writing. It reads as though they aren’t sure where they want the story to go, or what theme is supposed to be portrayed. I’m not sure the author knows how to properly pace and plan out a storyline. I am still interested in where it will go from here, but there were a lot of plot points I just did not care for since they were so awkwardly and quickly placed.

Where do I stand on this seires after the second volume.... I'm not sure, I don't know if I like it or just vaugly intrested..... guess I'll see how the next volume goes

It is good to read the writer's afterword, because here Nohara mentions that this was the first action-heavy long sequence they have created, and also possibly teases at the next volume being more drama oriented. So There is still hope.

Yet, this was such a disappointment from the first volume and is a shining example of why it can be discouraging to be a horror fan in the manga genre. Certainly, we are spoiled for choices but there is a pretty vast difference between horror and shonen with elements of horror. The first volume was pretty gruesome and dark, and this is just action-packed and kind of dull (for those wanting horror).

The art here is pretty inconsistent, but it does have moments where it looks pretty bas a*ss (it is a fair tradeoff) and the characters are intriguing, so if you are a fan of action with horror influences this is definitely worth checking out but a word of warning for those few of us that don't like Shonen, this one will be a bit of a letdown.

I will give the next volume a shot as the first was really entertaining, I really hope Nohara can steer it back into a better version than what we get here in volume 2.

This one attempts to do more action scenes, and the art does look very cool as it did in the first volume, but it's still too dark in some places for no reason and the plot is confusing and messy. I still don't understand why Ruwanda decided to even live with that woman in the first place, and thus be forced into the group of assassins. The head of the assassin group killing the old leader, and his members being less satisfied under him than they were under the last guy, is interesting, but I don't really care. I find Ivan a little repetitive, but I guess his character is a little early on. I definitely find Ruwanda repetitive. I thought this series was cancelled after 3 volumes, but either way, I'm not continuing the series. Maybe if I find the last volume for very cheap, since the art is worth it, if only to try and replicate.

There seems to be a bit of waffling or indecision about where this should go. Or...the creators think this will be popular (maybe an Anime in the works??), so they seem to be stretching the plot out. The art is solid, though some panels can be slightly disorganized. In all, the plot just needs to be more concise and good storytelling needs to be at the forefront instead of worrying about how many volumes can be dredged out of the material.

Ein neuer Charakter taucht auf, den Ruwanda nicht ausstehen kann - und deswegen töten möchte. Was natürlich nicht so einfach funktioniert.

Ein neuer Auftrag flattert rein und so begeben sich alle zusammen dorthin. Hier gab's sehr viel Action und mordlüsterne Personen, auf beiden Seiten.

Ich fand's sehr spannend, denn hier gab's auch ein paar Intrigen, die nochmal etwas mehr Dramatik eingebracht haben.

La storia del protagonista non si è sviluppata granché in questo volume, che ha reso il tutto un po' ripetitivo. I disegni sono belli e non boccerei del tutto il fatto di continuare, ma ora come ora non lo farei.
