Royal's Child

THE JUSTICE WAY

WAS SHE THEIR ANGEL?

Five-year-old Maddie seemed to think so. But to her exasperated father, rancher Royal Justice, Angel Rojasthe beautiful hitchhiker who got into their car that stormy nightwas nothing but an unwelcome distraction.

When infuriatingly handsome Royal opened his car door for on-the-run Angel that night, she thought of himand his adorable daughteras a temporary reprieve. But suddenly the comfort of a little girl's embracenot to mention that of her rugged rancher fatherfelt like more than a makeshift shelter. Was she finally coming home?

Brothers Ryder, Roman and Royalthey would do anything for each other…and for the women they loved!

Royal's Child is a very sweet book and features a naughty and adorable 4 year old Maddie and her father Royal Justice. Royal was devastated by his wife's death while giving birth and runs the family ranch. He adores his daughter and when she is bitten by a spider, is frantic. She recovers but she continues on saying that "her Angel" will come. He is quite disbelieving.

Angel Rojas is someone who doesn't trust people easily and has never found acceptance partially because of her dark coloring and also since she was foster kid , she keeps on moving from place to place and when her boss becomes too touchy, she quits and takes to the road hitchhiking. Here the suspense bit comes in, a maniac is killing women he thinks are whores.

She runs into Royal and Maddie during rain and Maddie instantly calls her, her angel. She stays the night and the next day as things happens she stays on as their house-keeper. Poor Angel she never really did have love in her life so she tried to stay an outsider in Royal and Maddie's life but couldn't. Her reaction when Maddie's gives her flowers and she remarks I've never been given flowers before was so heart-breaking. She acts so tough against the world but becomes a part of their family and she feels that after the tornado gets over.

She is very wary of Royal and tries to put distance between them by calling him sir but Royal doesn't put up with it and falls in love with her. He refuses to let her hide. When she tries to hide from him, he forces her to voice what she is feeling.

I really liked the book, it was about real people.

Well written and fast moving. This story has a supernatural element in that the little girl, Maddie, sees a woman who sits on the edge of her bed and promises her an angel will come to take care of her. No one else can see this woman. This naturally freaks her widowed father, Royal, out but, at his daughter's insistence, he ends up picking up a hitchhiker whose name is Angel Rojas. This freaks Royal out even more.

The supernatural element was well done, not one of those where you're rolling your eyes with disbelief. The emotions seem real and the HEA is believable. The bad guy is creepy and believably written. I really enjoyed it.

Royal's Child

I honestly don't have the words to explain how much I enjoyed this book. Royal and Angel complement each other, but Maddie really sets this one up. Five stars for the whole triology.

The oldest Justice brother and his four-year-old daughter make a formidable pair. She has his number and she rules! When she is hospitalized because of a serious insect bite, she comes home strangely quiet and moody. Royal doesn't know what to make of her reticence until he finds that she has been drawing pictures of herself in a bed with a mysterious lady sitting on the side of the bed and another lady with black hair looking after her.

Strange beginning, until the dark-haired lady shows up hitchhiking on their way home one day. Maddie insists that this is the "angel" being sent to look after her. When Royal finds that the lady's name is Angel, he is skeptical but Maddie will not hear of letting her go.

There's a lot going on in the actual world, including Royal and their Angel falling in love but the world where Maddie sees the two ladies is as real to her and ends up just as helpful.

3rd book in series. It's Royals turn. Royal is a single parent of Maddie. His wife Susan died at childbirth. Maddie is now a 4 year old and she is bitten by a poisonous spider in her sleep on night. Royal rushes her to the hospital where she stays for days getting better. While their she starts saying that she sees a lady in blue sitting on her bed and she talks to her. She tells Maddie that an Angel is coming to take care of her. Royal of course doesn't believe any of this. He thinks its just a hallucination. But days later their coming home from town on a very raining day. They see a hitchhiker that looks miserable and Maddie says that is the angel the lady in blue told her was coming. Royal doesn't want to stop for a stranger. but Maddie puts up a big fuss and Royal decides to help. It ends up her name is Angel and she has been on her own for a long time. Whe has learned to be self-reliant and is a feisty little thing. As she has been looking for a place to start over she runs into this man that thinks she is a prostitute . He is out to kill all prostitutes for killing his dad with HIV. She gets away from him but notices him following her later. When Royal stops she sees that mans truck drive by and decides to go with Royal to get away. She ends up taking the job of housekeeper that Royal offers her. This story is how they fall in love with each other and become a family that Angel has never had.

Royal is the oldest of the Justice men and I liked him his ways his moods.
Now add Maddie to the cake his daughter and you got a sweet lil girl with a few horns on her head but as funny as can be.
They meet Angle on a Rainey highway she is running from a a guy a killer at that.
She finds herself in Rolls house finds the peace she needs and jus loves Maddie.
Well as the story goes all’s well and ends great.

Gotta love those Justice boys. I thoroughly enjoyed this series by Ms. Sala. I wish she would revisit and expand on it. Maybe see what Maddie is up to in the future OR since two of the three brothers' wives come from money - initiate a kidnapping? My next read will be Ms. Sala's "Deep In The Heart". :)

Ok I love this book and I love Sharon Sala. She has an amazing ability to put so much emotion into her books and this one was just so so great.

Angel Rojas is a strong woman who quits her job because her boss is a pig who likes to feel up the female workers. She quits and that is how she ends up walking along the road when Royal and Maddie find her and help her find a place to stay and let her work as essentially the housekeeper.
Royal Justice is a rancher and father to the five year old Maddie. Royals wife and Maddie's mother passed away.

Royal ends up picking Angel up off the street one rainy night because of his daughter, who keeps talking about her angel that she keeps seeing. They end up bringing her back to their house and she ends up becoming like their housekeeper. Angel starts to become connected to Maddie and viseversa. While Angel and Maddie get closer Royal starts to wonder about Angel and he starts to notice that he does like her and she likes him, and eventually, romance ensue. But while this is all happening, their is a man looking for her in the shadows because he thinks she's something she's not and wants to hurt her.

This final entry in the Justice trilogy concerns a young woman who despite all the foster system could throw at her has become an admirable adult who just cannot seem to get a break.

Royal Justice is completely wrapped around the pinkie of his little daughter. The lonely widower does his best to avoid further heartbreak, but Ms. Rojas, the new housekeeper, deserves it all.

There is a bit of paranormal in the story where a ghost affects the actions of the protagonists, and a lot of adversity brings out the best in the characters.

Best of all, there is a villain to apprehend. We are given insight into this evildoer's motives and point of view, which makes for a much better plot.

This is one of the best series romance books I ever read, and that includes the work of such luminaries as Nora Roberts and Debbie Macomber.

Enjoy it for yourself!

In book 3 of the Justice Way trilogy we see a glimpse of paranormal and suspense in this warm wonderful story. Royal Justice is a single parent of a very lively four year old, with a vivid imagination, so her daddy thinks. Angel Rojas is a woman who doesn't trust men. Their story is warm, and moving. A well written book that was a page turner from beginning to end.

I must say my favorite character right off the bat is the four year old daughter. She is so mischievous and sweet. She's a naughty plotter too. Anyways, this book was great for a smile, it was really mellow and very sweet. It was on of those feel good reads.

This is my fave Justice Law book of the series! I love Royal and Angel's romance but most of all I love Maddie. Even though I am not a fan of child in my romance novels, she was perfect!
