There Goes the Neighborhood...Tapioca Pudding is a young, sexy, retired porn star sitting on the riches she’s stacked up over the years. In an effort to entertain herself by spicing up the suburbs, she taunts her male neighbors by allowing them to look into the fantasy world of her X-rated past.

Charles Webb and his wife of ten years have moved into their dream home. Actually, it’s his wife Charlotte’s dream to own such a house. Charles’ dream, since being an only child, is to fill his home with plenty of children. Once the humdrum of married life rears its ugly head, sex-starved Charles succumbs to a porn obsession that was meant to keep him out of the streets.

While Tapioca is a married woman’s worst nightmare, for Charles, she is a dream come true. When he discovers his adult fantasy living so close to his own home, he’s ecstatic. Why collect porn when you have Tapioca Pudding right next door? However, Tapioca is a ghost who animates painful memories sure to alter the course of The Webbs’ life forever. And there's nothing that can prepare Charles for the twisted erotic movie he’s about to be the star of.

Tapioca Pudding by The Queen was quite the interesting read. From the first page you're drawn to the obvious humiliation that must be Charles' life with his insufferable wife Charlotte.

Picking out a house should be a happy time, but it was anything but for Charles as Charlotte wanted what she wanted no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Charles would feel more of a man if he cut off his own private part, than put up with his demanding, and emasculating wife. Moving to the upscale neighborhood and into a home that reminded him and anyone else who entered, of a museum was depressing enough, let alone being in it alone for months on end while Charlotte went gallivanting to Japan for her job every chance that she got. Charles was set to live out his mundane existence until he caught sight of Tapioca. From his beautiful home office with the magnificent view in more ways than one, he had a new lease on being content with his new home. Before long, Charles finds himself in a situation with Tapioca that he can't seem to get enough of. Not long after that, he finds out that he's not the only one receiving special treats from the girl named after a dessert.

Tapioca Pudding Next Door had drama on top of drama, is fast-paced, sexy, alluring and somewhat disturbing. You'll have to read it to figure out the disturbing part. The ending was just a little too abrupt for my liking. There was a lot left hanging which is why I give it four stars instead of five.

The Queen is an author that I just came across since having a Kindle and she's quickly becoming one of my favorites. I can't wait for the sequel for Between Sisters and I also think that Tapioca Pudding could also use one to bring some closure to a few things.

" Tapioca Pudding Next Door" was my first read by Author The Queen. It is the story of Charles and Charlotte, an unhappily married couple who move into their dream home. What begins as a happy occasion soon becomes a nightmare as Charls develops a wandering eye for his neighbor, Tapioca Pudding, a former porn star. The old saying " there goes the neighborhood" definitely applies here.
Tapioca Pudding Next Door was a good read. I enjoyed it. With that being said, I felt that at times the story was a little too much with the addition of new characters. Charles definitely opened a Pandora's Box when he decided to begin his obsession with Tapioca. The ending, I felt was rushed. I look forward to reading more books by this author.
