Valle
An “emotional science fiction” story by Morgan Vogel. Initially printed in 2018 on a risograph Morgan moved from Chicago to Indiana that later stopped working in the middle of a print job and is seemingly still somewhere Indiana. Valle is an imminently depressing, short, contemplative piece of empty, alien-world-wandering SF. Beautiful, sparse, repeated illustrations decorate Valle’s pages lulling the reader into a very specific sort of sadness that eloquently captures Morgan’s vision.
