While a bit outdated, the general advice still holds. I picked the perfect time to read this as I took from this more advice about raising children to be successful than about financial wisdom for myself.

This was fascinating! Highly recommend if you enjoyed The Psychology of Money! The stats are obviously outdated in 2025 but the principles are timeless.

Wealth is a tool, not the goal. 🛠️
I’ve been diving into The Millionaire Next Door and God and Money lately, and they are the ultimate companion reads.
Why they work together:

• The Millionaire Next Door teaches us to stop trying to look rich and start actually being wealthy through discipline and stewardship.
• God and Money takes that discipline and adds a heart for the Kingdom of God. It challenges us to set a "finish line" for our lifestyle so that our wealth can serve others.

My Take: You need both. Without the discipline of the "Millionaire Next Door," you won’t have the margin to be generous. Without the heart of "God and Money," your wealth is just a number in a bank account.
No matter where you are in your financial journey, these two will change how you view every dollar that passes through your hands.
