I don't think this book is for me. The thing is I can enjoy smut. And if I have to tell you I'm a huge voracious reader for smutty stories. But there are certain limits for me too. With smut there has to be a story. Well this has a story but not so much. Although the themes of mafia + step brother/sister dynamic, it's quite unique with two tropes. And i don't think this book carried those two tropes well. I read 70% of the story that means more than half. And every other scene carried smut, huge amounts of smut. Well okay I enjoyed it. But the kinky terms - sry i couldn't digest. Every smut scene can't be mommy and good boy roles. I would have enjoyed if it was maybe 2 scenes or 3 scenes. But no, on every smut scenes the kinky terms - mommy ; mommy vibes. Good boys listen to mommies ?!!! Like seriously it's so so cringe. And just i couldn't digest it. The characters were also pretty shallow. No depth in them. It felt so bizzare for me. I know it's age gap. And that to with older heroine and younger hero. But still not all age gap needs mommy and daddy kinks. And if needed it's okay totally fine but maybe 2 -3 scenes. It's enough. But here more than half was with this thing. And no progress with the story till i read. That's more than half of the book. So not for me. I didn't liked it at all. The story lacked depth. And kind of it feels boring if chapter after chapter smut takes place. Not character analysis in depth. So yea that's it.

Zat te twijfelen tussen 3 en 4 ster... Het einde was gewoon teleurstellend... Echt heel jammer... Verder was het wel hot! Geen drama , geen bs en geen jaloezie. Ze was eerst badass en grappig dat er een mommy kink was. Jammer dat ze minder op haar missie focuste.

I liked this one but wasn’t satisfied with the ending. It’s kinda like a mafia vibe with an age gap and step sibling trope. The love was sweet but not all consuming.
