We never should have met. I belong in Italy as an heiress to my family’s media empire. He lives in Thailand to get away from his American life.
On one short flight we’re seated together.
I try to distract myself by talking to him. He tells me he has no desire for idle chit chat. Put off by his rudeness, I do my best to ignore him. But when I have a panic attack during landing, he holds my hand and talks me through it.
Before I can thank him, he disappears. I figure that’s the last time I see him. A few hours later, though, I run into him at my resort.
We end up having dinner together when the resort doesn’t have a table for him. One long meal where we both enjoy playfully teasing each other. When we finish, he makes it clear I’ll never see him again.
A week later, I’m invited to be the dinner companion to a wealthy Thai man. I’m lonely after spending days by myself, so I accept the invitation. We’ve barely begun when he insults me to my face. I end the meal right there, but not before publicly giving him a piece of my mind. A few hours later I’m awoken with a hand over my mouth.
Turns out I just insulted a Thai mafia boss. In front of all his business associates. And his reputation can’t let that stand.
Certain I’m about to be kidnapped, I flee just before dawn. Without help, it will be nearly impossible getting out of town. Then I learn there’s one man who can protect me from this mobster. One man who is his sworn enemy. A man I shared a flight with …
Take Me in Bangkok is a 108,000 word slow-burn, steamy standalone travel romance with a grumpy hot ex-Navy SEAL with one very dirty mouth and a woman who is bravely facing her fears. There is no cheating and it has a HEA. Check out this book for thrills, exotic locales, heaps of danger, three bro sidekicks, and one mysterious female Interpol agent. NOTE: Please check my social media for information on content. Very important if you need that.
I finished this last night and I absolutely loved it. The way Ford and Alessandra are completely devoted to each other was so cute. and their chemistry and sexual tension was intense. Asher was definitely my favorite, he was so funny and loved calling Ford out and never cared what he would say 😂 The amount of times things went wrong was so frustrating but it was the best. Also the twist in the end?? I don’t know why I didn’t see it coming but I literally screamed! I’m also so curious to know who the employer was because so many things got left unanswered 😭

Okay this book is STEAMY absolutely recommend. I’ll be honest theres a few parts that seemed a bit off but all together the story is great, the characters are beautiful, and it is hot hot hot. I read this book in less than a day it’s worth the time. It has all the best qualities of romance… Meet cute, somewhat enemies to lovers, slow burn moments. Just 10/10
I loved this story! Lessa and Ford are truly a different couple. I wish the epilogue included their wedding. Though I’m quite interested to see if there’s a story about Jesse and Bianca
Im so disappointed! The story and plot of this book was so good! I was sucked right in. It started off strong, especially with the way Ford and Alessandra meet on a flight to Phuket
I just wish there was more romance between both of them. I feel like their relationship blossomed in one night and with a flip of a switch the plot began to steam roll in one go.
The reason why I wish the romance was prolonged is because they barely know each other yet both are sacrificing their lives for eachother. I was also confused about how after so much history and chances of ending Ford, Alessandra was the reason he finally kidnaps Ford to take revenge ? Makes no sense! And then the whole plan to use her as bait to free ford. I just feel like this book had so much potential but it didn’t deliver.
The dialogue was cringy and just not hot. Ford did not give hot and broody, he gave awkward and then clingy. Lol some scenes were just laughable in a painful way!
Towards the end- when she’s left alone to make the decision to jump in the pool to save Ford, she leaves his friends tied up! Uhhh wouldn’t it be smart to free them first and then have one of them dive in to save him . Lol I’m telling you! So many times I was laughing at how stupid the situation was playing out. I mean I guess the point was to show that she conquered her fear to save the man she loves, it just wasn’t executed the right way. Too much happened during the end of the book. I felt like I was getting smacked with new secrets, a new plot twist.
Like I said, started it so strong, in my head I knew it was a 5 star read but it declined towards the mid-ending. ——
The prologue seemed quite promising and it did stand up to its promises. It starts with her having a panic attack while she is flying on the plane and the MMC helps her and realizes that he was being a douchebag then they part ways and meet again at the resort and then they share dinner and the next week she is asked to share and dine with some old man who she does not know and when she accepts the invitation and realizes that this person is an absolute tool she leaves in the middle of the meal and is woken up in the middle of the night by her hir dresser who tells her that the person that she pissed of was the godfather and well now she is in trouble and then she runs off to this one person who is not scared of this Godfather and guess who that person is? the MMC!! Because some feud is going on between these two and the MMC is not scared of this Mafia godfather, now he has to fight this attraction while he is trying to protect her. It is a genuinely fun book. I really enjoyed reading this. The friendship, the support, the madness and the drama fit perfectly. Excited to read the next part of the series

Ok so this book had so many twists and turns I got dizzy! The beginning was hard for me because it did not suck me in immediately, it dragged out the first 30%. The whole water phobia was kinda …ehh. It was extremely obvious from the get go who the mole really was btw. I feel so bad for Jesse. Once we finally get the bad guy the book immediately and I mean immediately and abruptly ends. I hate that. It makes me think the author got lazy. And the epilogue was flat and not the HEA I wanted just a HFN. It felt like an afterthought honestly.
I really loved our two MC, even though it made zero and I mean zero sense for her not to immediately tell ford why she showed up. I hate when authors just make up stuff for the sake of it.
This book was pretty good. The spice was good and the plot was super interesting, I love the realness of her phobia and how connected they were since the beginning. I, for some reason I can’t name, didn’t enjoy it too much. There was something about it that I just looked at weird. I also don’t like that it feels like Ford’s feelings and background with Achara were swept up and ignored/not resolved. It very clearly to me seemed like he was still in love with her and not over her but there was no furthering the topic of her after finding out what happened to her. I enjoyed it though, it was a nice read.

4 stars - i loved these characters omg. both the MMC and the FMC were so likeable once we got to know their characters. the plot in this book was also super exciting, and had a few plot twists which i didn’t expect at all.
the steamy scenes were super well written and not repetitive. the MMC was very much an alpha, strong, touch her and you die, kinda man - BUT - he was also kinda whimpering and begging for her in bed which was honestly the hottest thing to exist.
loved the defrosting of the MMC’s character from grumpy to obsessed, and i loved how the FMC was super strong regardless of her fears and tried to be a boss bitch even when she was scared <33

4.5 this book was wayyyyy better than take me in Bali. Cause take me in Bali was good and then the second half went down hill. I was quite intrigued immediately. They main characters were quite interesting. I really loved ford honestly. The side characters were great im quite interested in jesses story. There was a lot of action, tension, excitement, anxiety inducing scenes it was great. I do wish there was a little more in the epilogue.
This is a new to me author and I’m so happy I found her. This book was recommended to me and although it’s a slower burn than I typically read boy did it burn when it got there. The story is well written, the characters are great and their interactions are entertaining. I can’t wait for the next book!
OH MY GOD! This book is just… wow Fords mouth is 🫠🤌🏻 The chemistry between Alessandra and Ford 😫 Asher, Jesse, and Tucker are the three best friends everyone needs The DRAMA!! was so good! And the spice 😏 Where can I get my own Ford Walker?
I definitely enjoyed this more than the first one. It had a lot of twists some You will see coming others you may not. The one thing I didn't like is there are some things mentioned but never touched on again or explained.
This was a fast-paced, action-based romance about an Italian media company heiress and a retired U.S. Navy Seal who have a fated meeting in Bangkok.
Lessa is a powerhouse executive at her family's company that takes a sabbatical in Bangkok to try and overcome her debilitating fear of water after a near drowning incident she endured as a child. On the plane she is seated next to a surly Ford Walker (hello, stud name!) who wants nothing to do with her. But when she inadvertently publicly embarrasses the region's top crime boss, there is only one person who can keep her safe -- The Green Eyed Dragon aka Ford himself.
There was lots of action, lots of tension, and a great dual-POV romance. Can't wait for the next one!
