I think I got “lost in the sauce” somewhere along the way, so to speak. I was really enjoying it but then the plot kinda went to the background, then the relationships did, then the plot, etc. I didn’t quite know what I was supposed to be invested in.

I really did enjoy the plot aspects (albeit without the misogynistic rhetoric every other page towards Annaleise). I would’ve liked more details towards this and the action scenes. The relationships for the majority of the “showing”.

There was a moment when the FMC asked Antonino (one of the MMCs) if he was with a lot of women while they were separated, and he says “no, no women, there was only you, but quite a few men, but only you.” Something about that set off warning bells and made me iffy towards him the entire book tbh. He was in a relationship for years with one of the other MMCs but basically acted and said that men weren’t on the same level as women/Alexis and they don’t count. Meh. The other MMCs Miko and Cormac (😍) I adored!

The HEA was definitely a HEA lol. I’m glad we got an omegaverse book that could be wrapped up in one novel.

I enjoyed this book. It has a great plot with some twists. It does bring in the spice. The only thing that bothered me was Mico is suppose to be this crazy psychopath but when they actually have Alexis in the apartment he turns into this submissive, it is like he is a totally different person. Overall good read.

Arming Alexis by Jenn D. Young is a why choose omegaverse romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Logan Anare, Matt Haynes, and Elle Sonali. This is the fifth book in the Underground Omega Syndicate series but can be read as a standalone.

I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Alexis, Miko, Antonio, and Cormac. I liked that we got all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Logan, Matt, and Elle did a great job on the narration. They all really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for an omegaverse romance, why choose romance, or romantic suspense.

Oh I really enjoyed this read. It was great and I enjoyed the characters. I feel like someone should’ve groveled alot or more and she wasn’t such a push over in the beginning. She folded really fast. But I enjoyed it.

"Arming Alexis" is a contemporary omegaverse standalone, and part of the interconnected series of the "Underground Omega Syndicate". I've read a few of the standalones that were written by other authors, and I felt like Alexis' story was more focussed on the relationship building compared to the other books I've read. Maybe it's because there is a second chance trope involved that needed some stuff resolved before they could continue as a pack, or perhaps it's just a preference of the author to put her focus there. It didn't make the book less interesting, but it might be helpful to know before you start this book where the focus of the story lays.

I quite like the idea of a female hacker, especially when she behaves like a true Robin Hood. It fits her character, and the past the author very briefly mentions at the start. The connection between her and Miko was my favorite, but the pack in a whole makes sense and it's clear they all have something unique to offer to each other. The same can be said for the MM relationship between Miko and Anthonio.

The relationship building in this book was written quite well, and I enjoyed watching these characters come together and build a lovely family. Especially the banter between these characters was delightful, and often put a smile on my face while reading. The plot might have been resolved a little quickly for me, but with a standalone the author always has to make choices in what the explore further, and what not, and I can respect her choice to focus on the relationship building. All in all this was a good book, and a good addition to the "Underground Omega Syndicate" series.

Robin…

Alexis is an independent omega that hacks the rich and gives to needy omegas. When she’s reunited with her first love Antonio after 10 years she’s a little angry. He left her to keep her safe from his uncle. He’s always planned to bring her back to him. Antonio, Miko and Cormac have become a pack and all have fallen for Alexis.

When Alexis is approached by the Omega Syndicate to infiltrate Antonio’s business, she’s torn on what to do.

This was a second chance romance with a bit of intrigue. This series by different authors has been an enjoyable experience. Each book is different but has a common theme the Omega Syndicate. I can’t wait to read the next one.

Arming Alexisis is book 5 of The Underground Omega Sydicate. This is a standalone book. I loved Alexsis our Main Femal Character of this book, she is smart and a sassy and over all a great character. Who takes from the rich and gives to the poor through her hacking skills. This is a second chance of sorts, the book focuses mainly on the progression of her relationship with her alphas. Over all a good read.

I found this one a bit different to the other Omega syndicate books, but still really enjoyed it. I felt there was a lot more focus on the relationship side than the assigned task in this one. A reunited first love, an online stalker and a “daddy” make up her alphas. So lots of different dynamics to explore. Throw them all into a mob and you’ve got great ingredients!

Arming Alexis by Jenn Young is book five in the shared world called Underground Omega Syndicate. We meet Alexis, a hacker, who likes to play "Robin Hood". She gets hired to help the Alpha's solve a problem. This is a second chance love story - one of the Alpha's was a lost love. Great addition to the UOS Series.

Arming Alexis is the fifth book in the Underground Omega Syndicate shared universe series.

Honestly, if you haven't already started this series, I highly recommend that you do! Arming Alexis is a fantastic addition!

(No bias here) Alexis is a strong, independent, and absolutely incredible FMC! I guess, you would call her a "modern day Robin Hood". The hot Alphas, were just 🥵. The relationship building and character development was phenomenal!! Definitely an excellent addition to this series of standalones!!

This was such an amazing read. This book focused more on the fluffy stuff with some domination, instead of the Omega Syndicate. The Syndicate is still involved, this is just not the focal point. Alexis will get a second chance at love, and add a little bit extra too. Spice level kept this book going, along with all the 'sweet' moments. Please give this book a read.

Arming Alexis
By Jen D. Young
Underground Omega Syndicate Book #5
Standalone
Why Choose | Organized Crime | Omegaverse

The multi-author series, The Omega Syndicate continues with Arming Alexis by Jen D. Young. A heartbroken omega, cybercrimes, three deadly alphas, and a criminal empire. What a read!

Alexis "Lexi" is this story's omega. She's very much the loner, in her own little world but she's also a really good hacker with a bit of a Robin Hood vibe. Robbing from rich and supporting omega organizations. Lexi has anxiety and self-confidence issues due to past trauma. However her alter (hacker) ego RobinTheOmega is all confidence and she even brings some of that to her regular personality, she's awfully snarky and feisty with the guys and they love it.

Well, this story went totally different than I was expecting. First off the Syndicate had a smaller role, less torturing their victims in this. The plot was more relationship based because the guys are long-time friends and one of the guys was in Alexis's life a long time ago. Antonio is the ex–love of her life and boss man. Miko (the brat) is a hacker extraordinaire and a psycho stalker, I love him. Finally but not least Cormac, the Daddy Dom, and my favorite. The group balances out, Cormac is warm, a caregiver, whereas the other two are cold. Antonio being the leader has to be calm and collected. While Miko is a psycho he has a warmth and depth when it comes to the three people he cares for and he also has a playful bratty side that's the best. These three are quite the catch and completely obsessed with their omega.

I have learned some things. I always thought that the Omega Syndicate weren't the good guys but now I believe them to be the terrorist that they are. Now they've bitten off more than they can chew when they start messing with the mafia. The Italian and Russian mafia are bitter rivals and the Syndicate has gotten into their business, of course, it's not in the way that you think, no they are once again up to shady stuff.

Holy crap! Jen dropped one helluva plot twist at the very end. Color me surprised. Like. What? This was such a great read, I demolished this book. A little kidnapping, betrayal, complicated family dynamics, hacking, light torture, blackmail, and a few murders, I expect nothing less if the mafia goes head-to-head with a terrorist cell. Arming Alexis everything I could want in an organized crime read.

So I have read another in this series of standalones and I enjoyed that one, it wasnt my favorite by that author, I felt it was too rushed, but I didnt connect like I had hoped with this one. Its marketed as an omegaverse but you don’t get really anything from omegaverse romances. You don’t get nesting, scenting, heats, etc. I have listened to other books by this author and I enjoyed them, but not as much this one. I read a lot of omegaverse and if you are going to go there, it’s more than just some Alphas and an Omega.

I enjoyed the 3 different guys. I loved Daddy C best haha, Miko was a hoot, and Antonio to me had good intentions but I didnt connect as much with him. I liked Alexis, she was feisty and wouldn’t back down from a challenge. I also liked her omega submissive tendencies coming out to play too. I think the plot for me felt a little clunky. I am not sure why, I had to keep rewinding the audio and I was lost in a couple scenes and wasnt sure how we got there. I did like the one baddie just wouldn’t go away haha but besides that the story wasnt there for me.

In terms of narration I had high hopes for this one but it also fell short for me. I thought the accents were the biggest issue here. Throughout the book there were multiple instances where the guys accents were not consistent. Sometimes Miko was British sometimes he wasnt. Sometimes Antonio was Italian, sometimes he was Hispanic. And sometimes none of them had accents. I am not sure if it was one narrator in particular but it took me out of the story too many times for me to ignore. I thought the emotions were all there. I liked the way Alexis realized who was behind things, how she started to trust the guys (especially Cormac), how annoyed Antonio was being with his injuries and Miko and Alexis being brats haha, etc.

I might have connected more with this book if I had read it, but this one wasnt for me. I will continue to read/listen to this author though because she has some fabulous series.

Alexis is a gifted hacker, using her talents to, shall we say, “reappropriate funds” from rich, shady corporations to Omega organizations that are working to make the world a better, safer place for Omegas. Using the alias RobinTheOmega and armed with her computer, Ritz Bitz, and energy drinks, she does what she can to make a difference in the world. Having gone through trauma and loss, she’s content to keep her involvement and attachments with the real world to a minimum. She’s got a friendship of sorts with another hacker, but she even keeps that virtual friend at arm’s length, telling herself she prefers anonymity.

She goes out to her favorite rock club to celebrate a particularly successful score, only to find her fellow hacker friend is there too. Is he stalking her? Despite being drawn to him, she’s concerned he has ulterior motives. Alexis is proven right to be concerned when she winds up in a strange place with three alphas around her: one she knows from her past, her hacker friend, and another unfamiliar one. She’s attracted to all three, but there are some significant roadblocks in the way: her (understandable) reluctance to trust others, a past heartbreak she’s never reconciled, fear of losing what she’s worked so hard to obtain, and – perhaps most frightening – a threat from an unseen enemy demanding that she perform another hacking job *or else*.

This is a pretty fast-paced read. I was pulled into the story immediately & enjoyed the characters. There’s definitely some spice – including MM domination, Daddy Dom, spanking, and bondage.
Although the story is set in a shared world of the Underground Omega Syndicate, it can be read as a standalone. It didn’t hamper my reading experience at all to not have read all of the others (I’ve only read one other so far); but I plan to read the rest because I’m intrigued by the world they share and want to discover what else the UOS is up to!

WOW!!!! What an amazing story that hooks you right from the start its a emotional rollercoaster ride with plenty of action, suspense, intrigue, lies, angst, secrets, deception, manipulation, danger, steamy scenes, trust issues, twist that makes you on the edge of your seat to see what happens.
Alexis is a brilliant hacker known as Robin The Omgea stealing from the rich who are trafficking
to give to the poor Omega organizations around the world Cosmic Pain aka CP a fellow hacker on line have been working together.
Alexis is kidnapped by none other than CP he finds her in her Club tells her his name is Miko & she's in danger & needs to go with him in the Cormac waits she fights so hard they have to drug her, when she wakes she finds her lost love Antonio is one of the three men who want her to take on a dangerous job.
I definitely recommend to get this extremely well written story Alexis finds out why Antonio left her all those years ago but she's a changed woman no Alpha will ever control her again not even him & how does she react to know he's head of Cavalori Crime Family the biggest on the entire West Coast.
Antonio, Miko & Cormac tell Alexis she's there's he won't let her go again but it's a h*ll of a bumpy ride she fights them at every turn, will they get a HEA, so much danger surrounds them will they survive its a must read you absolutely can't miss you won't be disappointed I loved it 🖤 🖤 🖤 🖤 🖤

Alexis had had a rough life in foster care as a pretty omega her foster guardian tried to have his way with her, she fought him off and ran. Alexis hid in garbage and anywhere the guardian Alpha would not find her. She was recused by an omega called Stella, Alexis was half froze and starving. Stella, a former abused omega, give her the courage and strength to make a life for herself. Alexis graduated from college with a degree in software engineering, using her degree to become an exceptional hacker. Alexis and would steal money from the corporations that used omegas. With the money, she would donate the monies to various omega charities. During her online activities, she made friends with another hacker CosmicPain but, lately CosmicPain was starting to sound a little like a stalker, and Alexis was an independent omega she would never let anyone hurt her like Antonio, her first love and only love, and he had just disappeared with no word or anything. However, there were in play various plans to bring Alexis back to Antonio The head Alpha, which would now include Miko, and Cormac. What was this plan? What did Annaleise of The Omega Syndicate want with Alexis? Could Alexis help Antonio, Miko and Cormac find the person that stealing financial information from them, or would she?

Arming Alexis, the fifth book in the Underground Omega Syndicate Series is a beautifully written Omegaverse romance by the fabulous Jenn D. Young and I absolutely adored every minute of it! Just like all the other books in this series, this one centers around another KA Omega who just wants to be her own person in a world run by hormones.

Our FMC Alexis, is a modern day tech savvy Robin Hood who uses her skills as a hacker to right the wrongs of the world against omegas one financial hack at a time—regardless of what her hormones may try and dictate. When she’s “hired” by a group of alphas for a job, she gets more than she bargained for with a blast from her past that threatens to bring everything down. Will Alexis be able to except what happened in the past and forge new alliances with this pack of alphas or will she once again be left behind?

With secrets and lies and twists at every turn, this story will keep you entertained until the very end. If you’re a fan of omegaverse romances featuring hot aF alphas and fierce and feisty omegas that hold their own—this is the one for you!

Arming Alexis by Jenn D. Young is book five in the Underground Omega Syndicate Series. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and what a ride it was. Holy smokes! This book has bondage, BDSM, Dom themes…etc. I would check your trigger warnings to be on the safe side. But this book was one heck of a good read, I couldn’t put my kindle down. I read the entire book in one sitting. The book had great world building and the descriptions were on point that you could clearly imagine everything as you read. The characters were interesting and had such great development. The plot was great and had some kick butt action. The spicy scenes were very well done and were fire. The chemistry leapt off the page. The story just when I thought I knew what was coming always had a surprise one way or another. What I really enjoyed was the low key play of a Robin Hood story…. the main character Lexi steals from the rich and gives it to the poor omega organizations around the world. I absolutely loved everything about this book!

Loved Alexis and her Men!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Review

This is my first book by this author and I am definitely looking forward to reading more. I absolutely love retellings and this modern day version of Robin Hood was awesome especially since she’s a hacker. This book definitely hit all the spots I enjoy in my books these days. It’s packed with action, secrets, lies, second chance romance, steam, and so much more. There’s BDSM and bondage, has a daddy Dom and sub, let’s not forget the MM domination that gets thrown in. This book is a part of the Underground Omega Syndicate and I haven’t read one in this series I have not liked.

Alexis and her men, Cormac, Miko, and Antonio will definitely keep you entertained and engrossed in their story. Once you start it you won’t want to put it down. These characters are absolutely phenomenal. This is definitely a book I definitely recommend. Along with all the books in this series. I definitely look forward to reading Jenn’s next book and previous books she’s written as well.

So Much Everything!!

This book was amazing!! Lexi is my kind of FMC - brilliant and snarky! While I usually like more on scene butt kicking moments, I didn’t feel like anything was missing from this one. And the steam is smoking hot!! At first I wondered about Cor and was hoping he wasn’t being left out but as the story progressed I found myself trying to figure out which of the three was my favorite and shocker I couldn’t! I love how each of the guys has such a personality and vibe that even if you were given a snippet and asked to name the character you could! And the group steam scenes were perfect! A few moments I wondered if the story would go in a traditional type of storyline way but every time I got swerved with something fresh and I love it! There’s only so many ways you can tell an omega story and to find one that is amazing and still different is such a rare find. If you like omegas, doms, with a dash of daddy and awww moments, this is the book for you!

Arming Alexis is the latest in the Underground Omega Syndicate, and I enjoyed Jenn's take on shared world. These are fast read standalones, and yet there is a decent amount of plot packed into them. Alexis is the third hacker I've read in the last month, and having these women, especially omega women, have a job that still allows them to be true to their nature has been a fun experience. Alexis' men bring in the mafia world, but it is a lite version, that doesn't delve too deeply into the intricacies. Rather, it serves to give Antonio his reasons for seeming to abandon her, and the premise for why the omega syndicate is interested in them at all. The only complain I have is that I would have enjoyed even more of the book. Miko touched a part of my brain that I liked, and it would have been fantastic to see a little more of him. But as is, Arming Alexis managed to scratch an omega mafia itch, and keep me a Jenn D Young fan.

Arming Alexis is a fantastic standalone addition to the omega syndicate series. It's full of diverse characters that are well developed, and they have distinct personalities. The world these books are based in is creative and well laid out and described. This book follows Alexis and Omega who is known as Robintheomega in the computer hacking community. As her past collides with her present and her wild adventure begins, We meet a grown up Tony as well as Miko and Cormac. They all bring something different to the relationship with Alexis and it was really fun watching their relationship grow. With the syndicate , or what they presume is the syndicate and dissent within the mafia , things get intense for these four . With plenty of spice, sass and drama, this was an entertaining read and I look forward to more!

This is the next book in the omega syndicate and I love this one just as much as the last. Alexis is a hacker and I love that she is a modern day Robin Hood. She gets hired to solve a problem by a group of alpha's who she knows from the past. There lies, secrets and what not to be uncovered. I love that this is a second chance romance. There is a kidnapping here by one of the guys as it is necessary to find out the truth about who sabotages the alphas. Imagine her surprise when she wakes up and sees Antonio, Miko and Cormac. Adding to that finding out Antonio is part of the mafia. Now what is she to do? Help them? Or is she gonna fight against them. The twists in this book are so good. It reads really easy. I highly recommend picking this one up omegaverse lovers out there.

Arming Alexis is a standalone omegaverse and is part of a bigger series (Underground Omega Syndicate). Alexis is a modern day Robin Hood. She’s a hacker that essentially steals from traffickers and gives to different Omega organizations. She’s hired on by the Syndicate to help them with a problem. She ends up having to work with her first love that ghosted her in the past along two other Alphas. This book is different than the others in the series because the relationships felt like the main focus instead of the task. The plot just didn’t seem to be the main focus at all. There are plenty of moderately steamy scenes (that include MM which was very hot). I enjoyed the book and it’s nice to have everything wrapped up in one novel!

This is listed as the fifth book in the series, but it was the only one I have read/listened to. I didn't have a problem following along, but it seems like some of these characters may have been introduced previously. There seems to be a lot going on compared to the length of the book. It's definitely on the shorter side of omegaverse books I've read, but it still has all the fun, sexy group scenes and commentary on alpha-omega power dynamics. I liked the addition of the hacker group that was helping the omegas. I just wish this had been longer in order to fully explore everything.

Narration: Two of the three narrators were new to me and I would listen to them again. However, I was a little confused about the amount of narrators vs the amount of POVs.

Arming Alexis

Alexis (Lexi)is a hacker and a damn good one at that. She's an omega and a modern say Robin Hood, stealing from the rich and giving back to omegas. But when she takes a job that puts her with some familiar alphas, she may be in way over her head.

I wasn't sure how this book was going to go or whether or not it would keep me entertained, since the beginning was a little rough to get through. But I am so glad I held on. Lexi and the guys have a very steamy romance that brings the heat and has a few fun kinks added in. The plot was also surprisingly good and I loved that it was equal parts steam and plot.

Another great book from the Underground Omega Syndicate series. This one we have Alexis who is a hacker. She takes money and gives it away. She’s an omega who takes care of herself. She doesn’t need an alpha not after the one who hurt her as a kid and the one who left her and destroyed her. Antonio is the alpha from her past who left her. He did it for her protection but she doesn’t know that yet. Miko and Cormac are Antonio’s pack mates and friends. Alexis meets Miko who is her online hacker friend. He takes her. When she comes to she is faced with her past Antonio. They need her to do a job for them. They all need Alexis like they need their next breath. She just doesn’t know it yet. Alexis gets a message from the omega syndicate. They have a different task for her. It involves betraying Antonio. Will she do as the syndicate asks or will she go against them? Will she forgive Antonio for what he did to her ten years ago? Will she form a bind and relationship with Miko and Cormac? Or will she just up and leave everyone when the job is done? Read the book to find out.

Our MFC Lexi is a hacker on a mission! Robin Hood-esque extraordinaire, she robs from the rich giving to the poor omegas, and let's just say, she is very good at what she does. Unfortunately, she gets herself into a bind and finds herself surrounded by three alphas, one of which she has a history with. I really enjoyed delving into all the relationships between Lexi and her men. Revisiting the past but growing with the new was really interesting to see develop, and the spiciness of the heated scenes was dialed to the max! All in all, this was a fun read with page turning intrigue and romance.
