This brings back so many good memories.. these and some other books were my favourite in my childhood and I read them all over and over again.

I love that these books are dark for kids books and that they don't shy away from violence or darker topics. I also love that they are action packed and that the pacing is amazing. There are hardly any dull moments in the book where the characters would just sit around and chat and there is always something happening.

I saw some plot twists from miles away yet some still managed to surprise me. And I loved the entire story in general. I loved the secret of that snake staute. And I can't wait to read more of these as soon as I get my hands on them.
