Another great book from Dylane. A collection of short stories around the A2/B1 level. The inclusion of exercises and downloadable audio makes it a great all round package to improve your French reading and listening.
A helpful and simple introduction to written French. The stories are easy enough to follow, and are written in such a way that they can provide enough context for words one might not know. I found the vocabulary she chose to highlight odd, at times. Why is "un ami" a vocabulary word, but "également" not? Some vocabulary words ("un ami") were also used in previous stories, un-highlighted, only to be highlighted later on. This minor qualms notwithstanding, the book was helpful, confidence building, and can be a good resources for those just starting to read French
A nice way to learn a lot of basic French vocabulary and to increase your confidence in reading in that language. Dylane leads the reader through a series of typical life situations: grocery shopping, going to work, taking the kids to the park, going on a date, going to the beach, etc. Along the way there is a theme of the way life goes in France as well as the learning of useful life vocabulary. There’s a glossary of words after each story, and if you really need more help than that, every story is translated into English. But try not to cheat!
This book is a collection of 30 short stories in French dealing with everyday topics. These stories are designed to increase French vocabulary, and provide translations and comprehension questions. I've also used the short answer questions as practice in spoken French. Very useful and enjoyable book--highly recommended.
C’était une bonne collection de courtes histoires. Il y avait beaucoup d’histoires qui couvraient beaucoup de sujets, et je l’ai aimée. Je vais sûrement relire toutes les histoires pour apprendre plus à l’avenir
That was a really helpful and interesting collection of short stories, thank you. The stories were well laid out and supported with new words to assist development.
