Levi Finishing college was supposed to be a time of celebration for me, my friends, and my family. Instead, we find out demons from my past are back. And to top it off? I discover that I’d been sold by my own flesh and blood, and I have no idea why. This time, my demons are back with a vengeance and will do anything to claim me. To my surprise, the MC that Uncle Bear belongs to offers me protection… which instantly has me on edge which, surprisingly, I quickly find myself accepting. In the past, I never wanted to be that close any MC, so imagine my surprise when I find love in the form of a biker. And not just a biker. Twin bikers. As my demons continue to chase me, I’m grateful my men have my back because it isn’t just me that I’m looking out for anymore.
Thor & Dragon We’d given up on finding a woman who could handle both the President and the Enforcer of an MC. There aren’t many women strong enough to handle two men and our kind of life for the long haul. When our club comes under threat from a previously unknown club, we’re trying to find out their motivation behind targeting us. Imagine our surprise when we find out their motive has been a woman we’ve known for years. And she’s all grown up now. We didn’t know about the attack on her when she was a teenager, but this time… This time she has us behind her and we aren’t afraid of getting our hands bloody. But our Enchantress doesn’t have just us behind her. She has a whole MC army behind her back who will do anything to protect their Queen.
This book is intended for a mature audience aged 18+. It contains foul language, violence (including torture and murder), adult situations, mention of rape as well as mention of conditioning/grooming (does not go into detail) which may trigger some readers. There is no cheating. While there is a cliffhanger, there is a HEA for Levi, Thor, and Dragon which is continued in book 2, Timber’s story.
The story itself is quite interesting and the beginning of the book was promising as there are quite a few complicated stories entangled. However, as the story progressed I kind of drifted a bit away from the main characters as there were so many side character's backstories thrown in that I felt like I was more inclined towards them rather than the FMC and her gentlemen. This has potential and considering the last chapter, it appears that there will be more books on some of the side characters.
Thor and Dragon is now my favorite book by this author! Be prepared though because it is a BIG book, but every bit of it is delightful. It's filled full of action, feels, twists and turns, sudden revelations, betrayal, friendship and love. The world building is great, the story is incredible and the characters are so amazing. Tropes are, to name a few, motorcycle club, found family, touch her and be unalived, insta attraction, insta love. It is not for the faint of heart so be kind to yourself and check your triggers. If all of this sounds good to you, than you should dive in as soon as possible and you'll not be disappointed. Levi, Thor and Dragon are waiting for you!
DNF!!! - I’ve read ménage books in the past but this is my first with a set of twins. This will be my last with a set of twins. Felt like incest, couldn’t get with it. - I felt like I was missing something every time there was a development in the story. As if something was being said amongst the characters that they wouldn’t share with the readers. - They discover 10 things in the matter of an hour. Kind of takes the shock factor away when it all happens in one dragged out scene that stretches out multiple chapters and told by 5 different people. Like they literally get rid of Tiffany, find out about Drae, find out Trixie is Drae’s sister, meet Creed, Trixie’s room is ransacked by their rivals that broke in while they were all in church, get a box & letter from Fang, Smoke claims Levi, Smoke tells his story of his daughter, and Levi finds out she’s pregnant all within a matter of like 2 hours. That’s too much!!! - There were also so many unrealistic things about this story. This man has devices in everything she owned? Every bra, pants, shoe, it was insanity because how tf did he even achieve that? - I also feel like the club was constantly playing catch up. Their tech guy was actually ass for someone highly sought after by the government. He was always figuring shit out after the fact.
Overall I just genuinely felt like the plot was developing at lightning speed while reading at a snails pace. I couldn’t get with it and it felt very disingenuous.
Levi knew that finishing college was supposed to be a time of celebration for her, her friends, and her family. Instead, they all find out demons from her past are back. And topping it off? She discovers that she's been sold off by her own flesh and blood, and she has no idea why.
This time though, her demons are back with a vengeance and they'll do anything to claim her. To her surprise though, the MC that her Uncle Bear belongs to offers her protection...this instantly has her on edge which surprisingly, she quickly finds herself accepting.
In the past, she had never wanted to be that close to any MC, so imagine her surprise when she finds love in the form of another biker. And it's not just any biker. It's twin bikers. As Levi's demons continue to chase her, she's grateful her men have her back because it isn't just Levi that she's looking out for anymore.
Thor & Dragon had given up on finding a woman who could handle both the President and the Enforcer of an MC. Thor and Dragon have found that there aren't many women who are strong enough to handle two men and their kind of life for the long haul.
When their club comes under threat from a previously unknown club, they're trying to find out their motivation behind this club that's targeting them. So imagine their surprise when they find out that their motive has been this woman they've known for years.
This woman is all grown up now. They never knew about the attack on her when she was but a teenager, but this time... this time she is going to have them behind her and they aren't afraid of getting their hands bloody. But their Enchantress doesn't have just Thor & Dragon behind her. She has the entire MC army behind her back and they will do anything to protect their Queen.
YOU'RE MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS!!! Please read and pay close attention to the trigger warnings at the beginning of this book. There is some content and scenes in this book that are not suitable for all readers and could be triggering for others. Always remember that your mental health comes first at all times.
Tropes: MC, Found Family, Touch Her And Die, Insta Attraction, Instalove.
Thor & The Dragon is the 1st Book in the Steel Archangel's MC Series by R. Knight. This was the first book by R. Knight that I have ever read and I am so happy that I read this book, it was such a wild ride. There's so much that happens in this book and I can promise you that it'll keep you on the edge of your seat. This is just an amazing MC storyline with a kick ass FMC who is strong as hell and a stunning found family.
Levi knew she was supposed to be celebrating, she was finishing college. It was a time for celebrating with her family and friends but instead, she finds that the demons from her past are back. And topping it all off? She finds out that she has been sold off by her own flesh and blood and she has no idea why someone who is supposed to love her would do this to her.
But, Levi's demons are all back with a vengeance and they are going to do anything they have to to claim her. To Levi's surprise though, her Uncle Bear belongs to an MC that offers her their protection. And even though this puts her on edge right away, but she surprises herself by accepting the offer of protection instantly.
Previously Levi had never wanted to have anything to do with any MC. So, she was shocked when she finds love in the form of another bike. Actually, not just one biker, twin bikers Thor and Dragon. And as Levi's demons continue to chase her, she's grateful to have her men at her back, because she's no longer looking out for herself anymore, now she's looking out for her two men and an entire MC.
Thor & Dragon were sick of not being able to find a woman who could handle their way of life and their positions in the MC. One was the President of the MC and the other was the Enforcer of the MC and they had never found a woman who was truly strong enough to handle not only two men but also an MC and their entire way of life for the long haul.
Then they learn that their MC is under threat from another club that was previously unknown. Thor and Dragon work together to find out this club's motivation behind targeting their club. They are shocked when they find out that the club's motivation is this woman that they've known for years.
Levi is a grown woman now. Thor and Dragon had never known about the attack on her when she had been but a teenager. But, this time Thor and Dragon are going to make sure that this time she's going to have the two of them and their entire MC behind her. And none of them are scared to get their hands bloody, and this MC will do whatever they have to do to protect their Queen.
I love the way that Thor and Dragon aren't afraid to show how much they love Levi and they are protective of her. And most of all I love the way that they can apologize when they are in the wrong.
I enjoyed this book but the only thing that I really found frustrating was that there was no translation next to the Russian. I found it a bit disconcerting to have to stop reading to pull the Russian translation on my Kindle. But, that was the only thing that I found a bit disconcerting. Other than that I loved this book and this book is a roller coaster ride of emotions.
Even though this is a big book, I found that it didn't feel like it was all that big. It is such a smooth and easy-to-read book that it's really rather quick to read, or at least it was for me. It's just a delightful book that I loved reading. It was full of action, emotion, twists and turns, surprise revelations, betrayal, friendship, and most of all love.
R. Knight did such an amazing job with the world-building. R. Knight took time to create a world that was just incredible and drew you in. And the story itself is enthralling and the characters are well-rounded and well-developed. There are just so many twists and turns and the action has plenty of danger to it.
I can't wait for Patch's book and I really hope that R. Knight writes books about other characters from the MC.
If you enjoy MC, strong family ties, found family, a kick ass FMC, protective MMCs, then just like me you are going to fall in love with Thor & The Dragon and want to dive into the entire Steel Archangel's MC series by R. Knight.
Thor & The Dragon does end on a cliffhanger but Levi, Thor, and Dragon do get their own HEA and that is continued in bk. 2. Book 2 is going to be Timber's Story.
Heads up its very violent! Alot of editing errors, author misspelled characters names, bad rape and torture is described. The storyline would have been just as good without the descriptions of rape and torture. A dog is adopted midway but nothing else until the very end..Drae is found out as a mole in order to protect his wife/ daughter but its dropped nd he continues on as a prospect - did the mc go rescue them or what? Never mentioned again. Thor knows the BP MC has found a way into their compound as they ransacked a room and continued to place cameras but no move to find the entrance or remove the cameras, what happened to CJ -again just dropped. Too many inconsistency in the story, too many holes….
Written in alternating POV. First-person, present tense.
Initially, I was intrigued due to the possessive / obsessive / stalker a-hole / man trouble the FMC is having. Before long though, it was more like, ‘I just can’t look away / is this for real’.
Unfortunately, I was also ripped out of the story many times, due to the lack of professional editing. The randomly repeating things didn’t help with that either—I’m constantly looking at the previous sentence like, ‘Did I hallucinate?’ No, some things really are just repeated, at random. It makes for a ‘Gee, this author really assumes their readers are morons’ vibe, which isn’t optimal, for a reading experience.
There’s instalove, which is fine if done right, even great, if the author bothers with plausibility, and then there’s “Hey, I just met you, and my brother and I vow to spend the rest of our lives with you, if you f— us. By the way, do you want kids, because I’d like to go in bare…” If that’s your jam, read this—it didn’t do it for me though. She literally learned both MMCs’ first names at the same time that they were all vowing to be together forever and sharing their first kiss/smex. This would work if they were say … 8-12 years old, however they’re all described as grown adults.
Also could’ve done without the FMC having quite so many pet names—I could see one or even 2, since she has 2 lovers. (Baby Girl, Spitfire, Wildcat, Sleeping Beauty, not sure if that’s all of them.)
Issues noted: Apostrophes randomly inserted into plural, non-possessive words… … but then no apostrophes in possessive words. What?! English 101, come on. Minor continuity / plausibility issues. Many things stated 2+ more times, lots of repetition. ‘Mansplaining’ simple things to the reader—I don’t appreciate the assumption that I need basic things dumbed down. The steamy scenes were ‘textbook’ at times, and just plain not smexy. (Examples: ‘... he massages my br3ast.’ AS HE WAKES HER FROM A SA-FLASHBACK NIGHTMARE. Come on.) There was no character development to be found. MC members who “call the cops” on people who r*pe them, steal from them, break into their homes. Not plausible. People repeatedly call one another “Hun” (spelled just like that, and capitalized. (Meaning nomadic soldiers who spent their lives invading lands and lived a couple millennia ago. Something an editor could’ve helped with.) Dialogue was repeatedly punctuated incorrectly. Words, that are not proper nouns, mid-sentence, were just randomly capitalized.
This book is a representation of exactly what critics think all indie books look like, therefore its existence, IMO drags down the entire industry.
I did like(ish): Some of the tropes I listed above. Strong FMC(ish) (could’ve been better executed). The ‘slice of life’ in an MC bits. Tattoos being pictured.
Will not be reading more by this author—I do wish them luck though.
Overall: Weak writing paired with an “editor” instead of an actual, professional editor made for a very frustrating read. It did pack some fun vibes and could’ve been good with things like strong writing, Astute beta readers. Professional edit(s) and/or at least a heavy proof. With a re-write and a strong editor, this could be great, but as it stands: 2 stars for a vast lack of professionalism.
The blurb for this book was intriguing, the sample read I downloaded should have been a warning but I figured the book got better. It didn't. I ain't no quitter and truly I want the author to get paid for the book (kindle unlimited) so I kept on reading. I love a kick a$$ h and I don't mind the alpha role of the H but in this book the h overshadowed both of her men and not in a good way. One of her men is the President of the club and in one scene he is asking for her permission to learn Russian. what?! The writing itself bugged me as the author went from past tense to the present and I didn't mind the Russian phrases here and there but there were whole paragraphs that left the reader in the dark in spite the translations the author provided. The timelines were screwy, At one point we move forward to 2 months and then in one day a series of discoveries, events and "things" just happen. Characters were introduced but then left out, no character development and I swear Thor and Dragon didn't have an intelligent thought in their brain. The author poured every positive characteristic into the h, she was curvy yet not, she was tough but gentle, she knew how to torture people, she rode her own bike, she was a virgin but was not shy about taking both men the same night, she knew how to cook, how to throw knives, she was an animal whisperer, she had perfect handwriting, everyone wanted her for a sister, lover or friend and apparently every other medical personnel hated her. Honestly the book was all over the place. I had planned to read the others but after this one I removed them from my TBR list.
I judge a story on good characters, well written and a decent story. I thought that the title was all wrong as Thor and Dragon seemed to play second fiddle to Levi, the woman they chose as their old woman; she totally dominated the story and put them in the shade. Her character was everything to everybody and it was too much. She is desired, even by her enemies, ruthless, bitchy, friendly and forceful. I didn`t like her character at all by the end of the book as she was so like a chameleon, changing character in an instant.
The secondary characters are all black or white - bad or good and I thought the parts where nurses both at the GP's and hospital were unnecessarily given bad characters just to add to the story. The same with the MC, they were all given the same identity agreeing with each other. Too, too much.
This is my newest favorite MC series. It has a great group of bikers a kick ass FMCs and characters that will keep you reading and reading and not wanna put the book down. And when you do, you instantly wanna grab the next book in the series cause the series is a drug. Before you start reading make sure you check the trigger warnings because let me tell you there are a lots of them. But the book takes you on a roller coaster ride like anything you never seen. Filled with love spice violence blood real nasty bad guys and lots of tears but also laughs and it all ends with a HEA at least for now. The future is something you find in the next book can be read as stand alone but much better read in order since the stories interacts and makes more sense then. Recommended from the bottom of my heart.
I enjoyed this story. Strong women and strong men with lots of respect with each other. There is action in this one. It begins with the girls coming home from college and avoiding a crazy guy who will not accept her refusal to be with him. It relates to other episodes of abduction and begins a whole investigation as to the cause. In the meantime she falls for twin brothers, one Prez of the club and the other the club Enforcer. This is a very good way to spend your reading hours. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger on the couple, with just a lead in to book 2. Enjoy
Holy Hell!!! This was crazy! Absolutely loved this book. It was a serious rollercoaster of emotions for me. Thank you to the person in my FB group who recommended this. I’ve never read anything by R. Knight before but I was pleasantly surprised by how well written this story was. Not to mention the Russian translation was on point. Aside from a few typos here and there I can’t really find anything that I didn’t like about Thor & Dragon. I am so looking forward to book 2 especially after that bombshell that was left at the end.
This is a fantastic book. A great range of characters and very detailed so you get to know them easily. This story has some of everything good, bad, drama, anticipation, flaming hot bits and so much more. If you like MC books you will love this, if you don’t like MC books try this one and it might just change your mind ;)
I can’t wait to see more books in this series and will be searching out other books by R.Knight.
This book does contain serious triggers so read the warnings.
Thor and Dragon are twins that fall in love with Levi. Levi is in danger of being procured in a deal set up by her pedophilic uncle.
The dialog between characters were childish (i.e., you're ugly, I'm pretty you're fat I'm skinny) it was blah.
A read I can understand one checking out because the blurb is good and the number of chapters are immense which leads one to believe the meat, potatoes and some sides are there but sorry to say they're not. No need to check out the second book either as it's the same as this one. Long same wording and childish dialog.
I loved everything about this book. A kind yet strong and capable heroine who is definitely not a doormat or a damsel in distress. An amazing family that's both by blood and by choice. Alpha men who are not afraid to show their love and apologise when they are wrong. There is lots of twists and turns and plenty of danger... There was nothing I'd change in this book, and I can't wait to read more about this MC . I also really hope she writes books for the other chapter of their MC...
This book takes you on a wild MC ride. Its big and thick and keeps you wanting more. You’re never bored with this book. We learn new things about Levi as she grows to trust Thor and Dragon. Their relationship grows as they have to learn to respect and trust each other. The bunnies some of them need a good smacking. I loved the spiky scene lol im so glad thats in the book. I honestly cant wait to see what comes next. Cant wait for Patch’s books.
A strong emotional story. Lots of heartbreaking moments and lots of passionate ones as well. Thor and Dragon find their Queen but with a past that makes them even more possessive and protective of her. Betrayal from those who are supposed to love her makes her more powerful in seeking her revenge. All of the characters in his story are absolutely amazing and without a doubt dangerous in their own way when it comes to protecting their loved ones.
Would be a lot better if there wasn't sex as soon as meeting each other. Sex does not equal love or romance. It's sad that erotica keeps getting romance labels slapped on it when it's not romance at all just sex. Ugh. Good storyline if you skip over all the sex bull, just tired of having to skip all over the place cause my real sex life is not lacking so I don't need erotica books. But alas, it's so flipping hard to find good romances these days 🥺😭
I really enjoyed this book. I could not put this book down. Thor and Dragon gave me all the feels. There are many characters that I want to see get their happily ever after. I look forward to reading future books.
My one issue is that the English translation would work better next to the Russian words. I found it interrupted my reading having to look at the English translation to know what was being said.
Honestly-I didn't put it down from start to finish. The character development. The storyline. The world building. All 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Levi, Thor & Dragons story is one for the ages. When 2 men know they don't have to compete for the woman they loves heart, then you know it's gonna be good.
The way this story engulfs you to make you feel like an actual part of the MC, well I must say, yes please. I will definitely be buying this series!!!
I have never been tempted to actually take the time to write a review for a book until now. This is the first book I have read from R. Knight. I thoroughly enjoyed the way she writes such incredibly descriptive narratives. I had no problems visualizing the scenes in my mind, given her written words. I think this novel would translate well to a film version, although I'm sure it. would be a much shorter version of the book. Yes, the subject manner is not for every reader, but you warn the potential reader of this well at the beginning of the book. I will definitely be reading more books from this author in the future & will add her to my list of favorite writers of this genre.
No star ratings cause DNF & my fault for starting to read without looking at synopsis. I hate any kind of 3somes, menage, RH, etc books. I like to read about a man & a woman's realationship so this book was a turnoff 2 chapters in and to make it worse, the 2 MLs are twins! Like ewwwww, incestuous! NOPE
This book is my first read by R. Knight. It has many qualities of a MC Book from insta love all the way to sprinkling of darkness of a MC book. It has its sassy funny moments & it has its sad crying moments. Had a hard time putting it down as I kept wanting to know what's next.
I really enjoyed this book and think it’s a great start for the series! I really loved all the characters. I would, however, suggest moving the translations into the body of the book. Reading this book on a kindle makes flipping back and forth to the end of the chapter very aggravating. I eventually just skipped over the Russian parts altogether.
This was a great start to the series and has me wanting more. There are triggers, so read the synopsis. The storyline was interesting, but I did find the Russian confusing as I had to keep going back to see what some of it meant as I couldn't remember. The characters were all strong and well developed, including the enemy. Let's see what the next book brings.
Wow book 1 is filled with excitement. With strong leading character in Levi . Thor and Dragon and the surrounding members of the club. This first book has drama and excitement. Can't wait to read the next book 😍
Looking forward to additional books in this series and hopefully additional series for the other chapters of the club since others like Reaper deserve to find their own Levi too.
This book was pretty decent and I thoroughly enjoyed it. At 75% though I started losing interest in the book and kind of rush through to finish it so that I can start another book. I sadly will not be reading any more books in this series.
Omg I am in love with all the guys . What she goes thru is so hard to live thru.but she is so damn strong and to find love like theirs is so beautiful and amazing. All of the guys are amazing and yes I do have some favorite guys but love them all.
Surprisingly good. Some spots weren’t the best but that’s the case most of them time. Figured there would be more peen with it being MFM but I’m ok with more of a storyline too. Might try one more of the series but not sure. New author to me.
I don’t know what to say about this book. I love MFM and MMF but when the men are related it usually is a no for me but I still decided to read this and I am so glad I did.
It was really well written and the characters were so badass. I want to be Levi when I grow up
