[Siren Menage Everlasting Erotic Alternative Fantasy Menage a Trois Romance, M/M/M, demons, werewolves, HEA] Ten thousand years ago Panahasi made a deal with the keeper. It was a deal that not only brought about the creation of the demon warriors, but paved the lonely road he walked on a daily basis. All of that soon changes when he finds two wolf shifters to call his own. But his happiness doesn’t come without a price. The universe must keep checks and balances. And for Panahasi, his balance is Jaden, a creature whose very presence causes wars and famine—and now the man has his sights set on Panahasi’s mates. Growing up in foster care, Drake knew from a young age that Casey was his. But when he meets a tall, lean stranger on a dark country road, the one person who matters most to him may be the one person he loses. Casey loves Drake with every breath he takes. The shifter has been there through thick and thin, through good times and bad. But when he finds he has a second mate, Casey makes room for one large and very handsome warrior. But Panahasi has a very dark secret. It is a secret that if found out, will destroy an entire race. ** A Siren Erotic Romance
Lynn Hagen loves writing about the somewhat flawed, but lovable. She also loves a hero who can see past all the rough edges to find the shining diamond of a beautiful heart.
You can find her on any given day curled up with her laptop and a cup of hot java, letting the next set of characters tell their story.
Holy shit... this... WAS THE BEST FUCKING BOOK EVER!!! OMG!!!! Thank you Lynn, Thank you!! You have fucking blown my mind away in the best of ways. LOL...
I AM SOOOOOOOOOO LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT BOOK!!
EEEeeekk!! and I hope beyond all hope that something can be done with the huge freaking mind blowing revelation at the end.
Usually, I turn away from menages but Lynn Hagen has a way of writing it that makes it credible and perfect. Nobody is short changed or left out. There is a revelation in the end about Panahasi's secret offspring and it is such a thrilling shocker. This is more expensive than her usual books but like Riley's Downfall characters are more developed and the flow of the story does not leave unresolved issues and rushed plots.
I love this series as her other ones.. The only thing that bothers me is the now with most of them mixing more, the timeline within ALL the series, doesn't go in order of release date within the other series.
This book was utterly incredible. The plot focuses on Panahasi and his two wolf shifter mates, Drake and Casey. They were beautiful together, and even stood by Panahasi during their rescue missions. There was so much danger to deal with while at the same time getting to know Panahasi and his way of life. The one thing that I like about being new (or late) to this series is that I can read more than one at a time. =) I enjoyed this book in the series since it was full of action, passion, and of course, many heartwarming moments. Love, love, loved it!
Si pudiera, le daría mil estrellas. ¿Puede un libro tener un final más impactante que este? No lo creo. Estoy muy feliz, llevaba mucho tiempo esperando leer la historia de Panahasi, y amé todo el libro.
Since Panahasi’s very first appearance I’d been looking forward to his book. He used to be one of the (three) highlights of this particular universe for me. But the moment that one book introduced his two apparently infantile mates in its last scene, I dreaded having to read on. And it did indeed take me a long while to pick this up again. The result? As expected and yet better than I feared at the same time.
Right away this story starts by explaining and thereby setting in stone a great deal about the, er, mythological background of the combined series. Which is a really ambitious intention and a potentially bad idea. Putting things into black and white – and doing it in a way that makes my common sense scream after every other sentence – is doing nothing more than ruining this entire universe some more. For me, anyway. Maybe I am too much of a perspectivist, but all this talk of good and evil… It’s vague and clearly (along with all the phrases that would not possibly apply for several thousand years yet) derived from our current culture. But for the sake of sanity, let’s not go into the mythology in this. It needs to be read as is. Just took me a while to tune out that inner voice.
Off the bat I agreed with Panahasi, he did deserve something better. At first glance of the two mates I feared this would be a repeat of Christian’s story. Super-powerful ancient leader and (more or less) founder of his kind, two small mates, one of them antagonistic, the other sweet. To be fair, though, Drake and Casey turn out quite different and I infinitely prefer these two to the previous pair.
Casey is sweet but undoubtedly more intelligent and underhanded than Yasuko, while Drake, unlike Minsheng, is not actually mean. It might be actually be counted in favour of the author that it takes a while for their true characters to show; in a way that was a nice bit of sleight of hand. In my defence, she does keep reusing and reshuffling her character types across books, so I don’t feel too foolish for falling for the trick at first.
The narrative itself is sadly repetitive. I could go for a slightly shorter story if it had less of the same information repeated ad nauseam in someone’s head.
At times we get a pile of unsatisfying time skips. For a while this feels like a montage of isolated scenes, between which time passes and relationships are deepened. For me, this breaks the flow and it feels as though there are bits missing, even though they’re not.
And a small thing, but… is this a “thing” these days? Here’s another author who uses brethren as singular. Please, look it up. <3
One of the most annoying aspects of this series, at least for me, consists in that it’s really a serial, not a series. We get plenty of non-main-character viewpoints; people who will likely be future protagonists meet and get quite a bit of limelight. The overall story progresses in each volume. This is okay, even if I would wish it otherwise, but what really wrecks it in this case is the fact that about three or four (five?) other series are woven into it. Granted, this particular subseries has the most strongly serial character of them all, but it’s still necessary to keep series hopping and thus wait a disproportionate long time between the instalments of each subseries.
Truth is, for most of the book I was simply hanging in there, severely under-impressed but determined to get through this because I have to if I want to get on with the overall story. Towards the end, though, I either got used to a lot that bugged me at first, or the actual plot did catch my attention more directly or tightened up – because by the end I kind of liked it anyway.
Lukewarm praise, I know. Still, a book that ends well (even if earlier on it was weak) will always win out over one that fails in the last few chapters.
Now that I am finished and the entire mythology pretty much exploded, I’m at a loss what to think.
After much dithering I am going with three stars for now, although during most of the reading my verdict hovered on two. Might change my mind once this has sunk in.
Well, I delved into the Bracverse a 2nd time and now there are 121 books - yikes! I loved this Universe the first time I read it several years ago and now I love it more, I really do, but I've only been able to read these series (and I have expanded to all the books that are currently out in each): Brac Pack Christian's Coven Zeus's Pack Demon Warriors The Exiled
These are the series that start the Universe. Reading them in order is a must. Each book has it's own love story but there is an underlying story that plays out throughout them all. As you get towards the end of these series, other series come into play and I noticed that, since I did not read them, I missed some of the characters being mentioned (good and bad) but I was still able to follow because the main ones stay the same.
One day I WILL buy these and read them all!!! (For the correct order, just look on the Internet for Lynn Hagen Reading Order): Brac Village Shadow Tribe BPNG (Brac Pack Next Generation - Brac Pack kids) The Remus Brothers Wolves of Desire
¡No me jodas!
Even with all the gore and excitement in this book ... Panahasi's two mates were an absolute riot! I was able to imagine Casey's whining when Drake does something and things go awry :P
While the Jaden's stunt was getting a little out of hand ... but I loved the interaction of Panahasi with his mates ... and how he let loose for them ... tried to give them his secrets ... and share about himself ... his secrets and more ... It was a good story and one that mhad me cracking up here and there and emotional at times ... like when Panahasi talks about his sons, his sacrifices, etc.
A good and riveting read. Nice addition to the series.
Panahasi and Jaden are cut of the same cloth, the ultimate beings, I can see how Jaden could take Demon Warriors' power, but Panahasi should still have them no matter what. Even if Jaden has the ability to take away Panahasi's power I don't understand why Panahasi doesn't do the same to him. And then this Raphael guy turns out to be stronger that Panahasi, everything is ass backwards in here.
I have been intrigued with Panahashi since the first book he appeared in. And now that I have read his book... Sorry for the language but: Holy s**t!! My mind is blown away! The ending is definitely jaw-dropping. Besides that, I loved his relationship with his two mates. Some moments were adorable some I waited through with holding my breath. I love the appearances of other characters from other series in every book. And with that, I started to wonder that he probably IS the most powerful being in the Bracverse...
I had to mull this over for a bit. Ok This book was worth 4.5 stars. I was wading through all of the other books in this series just so that I could find out about Panahasi. Lynn Hagen did great in this story line because I found out so much about this man who seems to be involved in everything and everyone in this universe. I want to read it again so I can make sure I didn't miss anything. This man answers to only one being... the primal source. This story was filled with a lot it was funny without detracting for the story line. So worth the wait. I can't wait to see what happens next to all of the new characters and the old ones that I fell in love with. Must keep reading don't want to miss anything.
Was going to give this a 4 but the way Casey acted throughout the book because he 'needed fresh air', please. Give me a freaken break. He knows what will happen if he goes out, it already happened to Drake their first day there.
I don't understand why the author continues to give these warriors mates that have shit for brains. I understand she likes to write about people with issues but this is getting lame. Like the warriors dont have enough shit to deal with, now they have to deal with crappy mates who continue to add to their stress and bring more danger that can easily be avoided if the mates weren't dumbasses.
If the mates are going to through a fit at least let it be for a good reason and not because he needed some damn air...
I may be biased when it comes to the shifters, demons, vampires and paranormal creatures in Lynn Hagen books. I love all of them more than any other series. She does a really good job of all of her paranormals interacting with each other. I have been waiting for Panahasi's book, he has been lonely for the last few books.
His shifter mates were perfect for him and the story was much better than I excpected. The interaction between 'Panny, Drake and Casey did my heart good. This may have been the longest series story I have read from Hagen. A must read for Demon Warrior fans because there is some revelations that come out.
Honestly, this might be the best book she's written. Heh. I can't really put my finger on it, but it's better than many of the stories I've read of hers. I thought Panahasi was interesting and I'm hoping we get a better understanding of him and his powers. . And the ending, . The mates were a bit annoying in parts, but not as bad as Cecil and other mates. Heh.
2nd read June 2014 To be honest, not sure why I liked Drake and Casey the first time around. They annoyed me to no end this time. I didn't like them. I forgot how disappointed I was in Panny's book.
First read 11-17-13 I was disappointed in this one. I was looking forward to Panahasi's story, but I really didn't learn anything. I wanted more about powers, too.
Then Drake and Casey. Yes, I liked them. Unlike Minsheng and Yasuko, they were actually nice-feisty, but nice.
Not bad but not that great either. Better perhaps if I'd read the other novels but I didn't so the references went right over my head, the background meant nothing to me and the characters were all jumbled together apart from the three MCs. I did like Panahasi a lot though and it ended up compensating a bit. His mates were...maybe not undeserving but...unsuited maybe? I didn't connect with either of them the same way I did with Panahasi. He alone made this book worth finishing for me. Weird but accurate. Overall I think this book is reserved solely for those already engaged in this series.

I enjoyed the prolog. Panahasi’s backstory was very interesting. I also enjoyed the interaction between Drake and Casey, best friends and mates. They have a unique relationship that confounds Panahasi. The balance of good/evil was also an interesting twist but not as interesting as the ending. No spoilers here, but it definitely has me rethinking some of the previous stories within this world.
Wow! Panahasi was definitely worth the wait!! Hope it isn't tooooooo long in waiting for the next installment. So many different ways it could go...... Who's next???? Deandre'?? Kobe?? Or more on Panny's "Big Secret"???? Can't wait!!!
Awww Man! I just checked.... I got's ta wait until book 23 for Deandre's story????? Darn, darn, darn!!!!! Sigh..
Amazing read. I love how Lynn Hagen ends the book with an interesting tidbit that makes u eager for the next book And this time I was shocked at the information she has revealed about this world. Was something I definitely wasn't expecting.
suprisingly I really liked this. I normally do not like menage books because the characters in the relationship never feel like they truly belong together, the chemisrty is always extremely off. but anyways. it was good enough in my opinion :)
Okay... I'm happy with Panahasi's story. He mated well. This book gives you lots of backstory and a deeper glimpse into the Demon Realm...i lied that a lot. Definitely worth the price.
I started off thinking... yeah this is ok.. but come on this is the leader's book! It needs to be... special.. over the top.. For me.. it was.. but it took a while to get there
