This went a few unexpected directions, to say the least. Secrets come out, hearts are hurt, worries are shared, and the unlikeliest of ideas to heal all of it comes from the one person you wouldn’t expect. But I have to say, it all works. I wanted to cry for Giselle a few times because she felt so utterly alone more than once, but her confidante sees more than she expects and he knows exactly how to help her through….in a few ways.
But just when it looks like all may be unconventionally okay across the board, the final secret hurtles closer toward the open. And I have a feeling when that secret barrels into the present, chaos and vengeance will rule the day. I need to know how it all ends up, so badly!

Ok this one took me almost or about a week to write up. I mean the fire started right from the beginning. We are always left hanging after each book and we are getting a little closer to knowing more of Giselle's past and why she is on the run. I mean there have been little hints but the full truth is yet to come. Not Stefan, Carlo, Nick and Eve all come out to play literally in this one. I mean when you feel like you have been betrayed like Giselle felt after finding out things had happened while she was unaware of, what do you do???? Well, the end game for that punishment was not really a punishment that I can see, LOL
Now we have to wait a bit longer to hopefully get to the heart of who Giselle really is and if her men can save her from her past. This installment is the hottest yet in this series so be prepared for many hot flashes and stay hydrated my friends!

Secrets are revealed, lives are turned upside down and the pages are set on fire. Giselle's past is still a mystery but could her secret catching up to her? Eve and Nick surprise us as well as Giselle. I always knew that Eve and Giselle were very much sisters from another mother but this book definitely shows it even more. Carlo and Stefan made another decision but how will it be accepted? Giselle shows us even more of how caring and loving she really is. She has a heart of gold and her family, which includes Eve and Nick will always come first.
FYI you will need a very cold shower after this book.
Ms. York gives us another cliffhanger but we do find out a little more about Giselle.

Wondering
I loved Nick and Eve story. I bought this enjoying it to a certain extent. But somehow I allowed myself to be over Giselle and Nick. I know what Eve suggested but not sure if somewhere in their she secretly regretted it. At the same time in the Nick and Eve story I saw Nick and Giselle having deep feelings and was wondering if they were having a secret affair. It look like Nick loved Eve but had falling in love with Giselle. And that Giselle wanted him for herself more than she said. I guess I thought too much I was restless about it. Waiting on the last book.

Alright book 8 left me hanging and book 9 DELIVERED!!!!
Now after reading book 9 I’m dead lol
This book turned up the heat 100x hotter than pervious books and it was worth every second to read and maybe read again.
Book 9 leaves us on another cliffhanger and this time it leaves us on a Giselle clue.
We know her real name, we know she is running from someone but we don’t know why or who.
I am sure at some point Carlo, Stefan and Nick will take care of the big bad man and Giselle and Daniella will then be safe!
Now after reading book 9 I’m dead lol

Yowza!
Giselle proposes an interesting and unique solution to solve her distrust, and boy...is it ever a satisfying one.
Nick and Eve are back and join in on the fun as Giselle navigates her feelings. Everything is resolved between the group, and Giselle, Carlo, and Stefan continue to work out how their relationship will work.
Giselle's past suddenly catches up with her at the end of the book...and I'm hopeful these brothers will be able to keep her and Dani safe in the next one!

This book, oh THIS BOOK IS SO HOT! We pick right where we left off, Stefan running off with Giselle and of course Carlos in mad pursuit! Giselle is such a sweet and caring girl and she dearly loves them both, as well as all her new little family. Some surprising turn of events lead to some of the hottest scenes we've had in this series! Turn up the air conditioner and sip a cool cocktail! It appears things might be finally going good for our girl until that mysterious past rears it's ugly head and we are left in a quandary again, anxious for Book 10.

Is this where we finally get some backstory on Giselle? I'm so tired of trying to guess who she is and from whom she's running? Enough already! Let's get to the goid stuff and find out the life she's running from. Of course she's too stupid to know that between Carlo, Nick, and Stefan, she and her baby daughter are very safe. No, she thinks running WILK keep them all safe. Which is so not the case. I hope the next installment will explain it all. Because I am getting bored with it all😛😜😝😮😭

"Obeying the King" (The Sovrano Crime Family Book 9) by Jessa York was a fantastic read. I loved this part of Giselle, Carlo, and Stefan's story. This story was full of passion, romance, billionaires, family, friends, and more. I can't wait to see what happens next with these characters. This was a great addition to this series. I highly recommend it to all fans of romance, passion, billionaires, and series.

This story gets juicier and juicier! ;) Giselle is so sweet and caring, but so are Carlo and Stefan, as well as Nick and Eve. Wow, the plot gets more convoluted as time goes by and we still don’t get a conclusion to Giselle’s story. She deserves everything good, but she’s still not there. I need the next book!

Ooooo! This was a spicy one! Muuuuuuch more spice than the previous books. This book picks up right where book 8 left off. We finally get some resolution with the love triangle…. 😉😉 …and it’s delicious! Of course we end with another cliffy, but I’m happy to see that we will likely get some answers about Giselle and her past in Book 10. Can’t wait!

Book 9 is a whole lot of heat, spark, sizzle and bang! Don’t get me wrong a lot Smexy times happen in the pages of Giselles story but this one is the Creme de La Creme!
It’s a filled too with lots of emotions and communication is high in this one too!

Obeying the King is book #9 in the Sovrano Crime Family Series & each installment just keeps getting steamier and steamier. It's full of twists and turns & some secrets revealed that may feel like a betrayal. You get so many feels & steamy scenes. You also get a look into just how big Giselle's heart still is, even after everything she has been through. I need book 10 now please!

Well this book took a very hot and steamy unexpected turn! Giselle learned a secret everyone else was hiding from her and felt betrayed. She was ready to bolt for good, but was able to come to an understanding with things and realized this is where she belonged. Only it looks like her past is about to catch up to her. Can't wait to see how this unfolds!

Omg!!! This book was oh so so steamy. I couldn't take my eyes off the pages. These characters are something else. Just when you think things are ok another twist. I'm on the edge of my seat to see what happens next.

woo hoo this is a good one. Giselle finally makes her choice or should i say is not given a choice. Her and her best friend have a spat but oh the way they make up is soo worth it. Loved this book and cant wait to see how her past will finally catch up to her and how it will all end.

Ok, so for me, this went off on a tangent I didn't care about, but whatever. Cliffhanger this time was totally what I want to know and it got there super fast, like BOOM, there is was. Book 10 is on preorder and I'm super annoyed I have to wait for it.

Book 9 sure delivered lots of steamy, hot scenes. Giselle, Carlo, and Stefan along with Eve and Nick brought chemistry and love to this story. Giselle is finally starting to figure things out and feel at piece with her guys when the unthinkable happens for her. The man she had been hiding from finds her. I can’t wait to read the next book and find out what will happen next.

Did I regret getting almost no sleep these past days to read all 11 books in just 4 days? No I did not.
Why, you ask?
I haven't enjoyed a bookseries so much as I love this one in a very long time. Like it has "fanfic telenovela level" drama (which is a very good thing) but is also written well. I enjoy it so, so much.
