This book contained a bit too much realism for me. The love story was believable and very messy. There was a lot of intensity and messy romance. It felt too much like real life to me when I could have used a bit more fiction. The author's writing style is spot on. She managed to mix in suspense amongst all the other emotions she invoked in me.

This story right here! Man I mad at myself for waiting so long to read this! I’ve been sitting on the edge of my seat since the very beginning. I think I can now sit back but then again I don’t know because that ending got my amped up for part two! Ms. Arthur did her thang with this one! Next stop REVELATIONS!

Rules of the Game

This book was so intriguing. The story of Zoya and Jamal kept me reading to see what would happen next. I recommend this book to everyone. Sometimes rules need to be changed.

Damn Good

Look I love to read AC Arthur because although you get that underlying romance, you don't get the predictable boy meets girl yada yada. The rollercoaster ride in this book will have you viewing out the entire supporting cast. Welp, on to part two....Moon

Wow!

What an ending. Surprising one, two punch. No one is who they seem. Great job on truly a surprise ending. No way did I see it coming.

In the life of the NBA, games get played off and on the court and sometimes you win..and other times you lose. NBA star, Jamal Baker learns these rules the hard way and fights to stay in the game. Nobody ever warned Zoya Daniels how to play her position as an NBA star's woman. Sometimes you got to put up..or shut up. And as other players start to come off the bench in this game of deception, everything goes haywire. Only problem is, who is actually settling the score?

Man wth just happened at the end of this book?! Its like you think you understand how its going to end but then the plot takes a twist and you're left with a dumb look on your face and saying "huh". I really liked this read. However at times it slowed down and just some parts didn't mesh well together for me in terms of how all these characters are connected; just seemed a little off. Can't wait to see how this all pans out in book 2, Revelations.

This book was pretty good. Since there are players from the NBA of course it was going to have the typical groupie sex, but this one really took it up notch because the wives got their revenge. I really questioned Zoya for staying with Jamal, but it was clear early on that she had a plan from the very beginning. And Jamal, what a stupid jock he was for continuing to fall into the same traps. The steam factor was really high during the sex scenes, that was a pleasant an unexpected surprise. Leila, Donnie's wife was really a trip. Her menage a trois and quatros were really for the record books. I am curious to see what happens with these two since we were left hanging. Over all a good book, semi erotic, and a pinch of suspense thrown in, i'd recommend it.

AC Arthur is just off the chain, that's all that can be said. This book centers around 2 NBA players who have a history of cheating on their wives/girlfriend. Zoya, Jamal, Leila and Donnie have very interesting lives and very interesting secrets. Not only do they have secrets, but thier secrets have secrets. This book is all about what happens when the cheated on become the cheaters and what happens when an individual cheats with someone who has nothing left too lose. Crazy I tell ya, just crazy!!
