She was my world, and I watched her die.

Kyle Clarke is good-looking, charismatic, and heart broken.

He has been chasing revenge for years only to be let down time and time again. But this time, it’s different. This time, he has made a deal with a (marginally) more respectable man. A man of his word, hopefully.

He might not know exactly where he is, and he might have allowed Adam, Ella, and his dad to be trapped in some kind of “collection,” but it is totally under control.

With Kristina by his side, Kyle plans to get his revenge and then return to save the others.

But what if they don’t want to be saved?

Everyone wants to be a hero but, this time, they’re going to need to work together. And that’s easier said than done…

Relationships and alliances are tested, and each character must decide who to trust, and who to love in Unity (The Dangers of Dreaming: Book 3).

The Dangers Of Dreaming: Book 3

Unity

Genre- Psychic dark fantasy

Wow the ending to this trilogy was perfect! I'm glad my ideas didn't happen, this was a wonderful trilogy that kept me on the edge of my seat and I highly recommend it!

This is the beginning of the end, Ella and the gang team up to win the battle against the most powerful man holding them captive in his own little world just for them, and others like them help to break free to the world they all know well.
Relationships are lost memories are forgotten and new love is found.
But everyone will have their happily ever after one way or another.

Unity by Chloë L. Blyth is a stunning conclusion to The Dangers of Dreaming trilogy. The emotional depth, twists, and beautifully layered relationships had me hooked from start to finish. Blyth masterfully ties every thread together, delivering a finale that’s thrilling, heartfelt, and deeply satisfying. An unforgettable end to a truly original series!

The Dangers of Dreaming: Book 3- Unity is the final book in The Dangers of Dreaming book series. Book 2 left readers hanging by their fingernails on the edge of a cliff with the three main characters largely separated into different locations and a hint of differing agendas at play. Book 3 opens by immediately jumping back into action with Ella, Adam, and Kyle right where they each were when Book 2 ended. The action is fast-paced as the narrative toggles between the storytelling of the three MCs which allows readers to get a thorough glimpse into the motivations of each of them. Their motivations are each revealed to be sincere, and readers will likely find each character sympathetic in their stated goals.

At the cliffhanger conclusion of Book 2, I was unsure about my feelings towards Kyle. He’s a bit cavalier and sometimes downright reckless. I wasn’t convinced that his motivations were good. Ultimately, Book 3 takes a deep dive into the character (flaws and all) of Kyle, revealing him to be a much more likeable guy. His backstory collides with his present and readers really get to know this aloof and sometimes questionable character much better. He definitely provides comic relief throughout the story as he lets it all hang out in his sometimes unhinged conversations with others.

Adam’s story takes a bit of a backseat to Kyle’s, but Adam’s personality and strengths get a closer inspection as he rises to the occasion in the human zoo run by the villain, David. By the way, David has no redeeming qualities, as far as I can tell, despite his protests to the contrary. Some villains simply cannot be redeemed, and as forgiving as Adam tends to be, he and the others seem onto David and his gaslighting.

Ella began the series as a directionless character, floating on the ocean currents, lost in her wine glass and dreams of a more hopeful future. She has evolved steadily throughout the storyline and finds her groove as she befriends a cat she comes across in her room at the human zoo. Her reflections on her state of affairs reveals that she’s made peace with certain aspects of her past, her current situation, and her likely future. She seems less inclined to float along with the tides and, instead, takes a more pro-active role in her own outcomes.

Book 3 still contains a lot of storytelling in order to bring about the satisfying conclusion of the series, and the author takes the time to address each of the MC’s personal stories with illuminating details. The three MCs are unique, so the author’s decision to break the chapters into POV narratives by the three MCs was a great decision as it gives each MC an opportunity to reveal their decision-making processes and justifications.
This book series offers a fun mixture of rom-com banter between likable main characters who find themselves in a unique three-person entanglement, while also providing thrills as the characters attempt to thwart the goals of supervillains who have gone mad with power.

I read the second and third books in the Dangers of Dreaming trilogy by @chloeblythauthor back to back and I'm so glad that I did! Each book takes off immediately following the cliffhanger of the one before it, making it impossible to put down!

Our FMC Ella and MMC's identical twins Adam and Kyle remain at the forefront of the story, but we also get to know the characters of Jeremy, Gerome, Jenny, Kristina and Frankie in far more depth. With each chapter coming from a different perspective, we're able to understand situations from multiple POV and gain a better insight into people's true motivations.

Dream Walkers remain at the forefront of the story alongside the Human Justice Department, although we learn more about the history of the Resistance and the varied powerful beings within this world. The world itself grows quite significantly and I enjoyed that I couldn't predict the direction that the twists would take.

Ultimately, after finishing the trilogy, I'm really happy with how it ended. It's not at all how I would have predicted but you know what, it's better! I love that this wasn't a cliche series and that I really needed to focus on the characters motivations or I would miss a vital clue.

Thank you to @chloeblythauthor for providing with an ARC of Unity 💕 All opinions are my own and I've written this review willingly.
